I like that Frontegg has many advanced features already implemented, which helps us move fast without having to build them ourselves. The self-service UI is easy to integrate into our products and was particularly helpful during the initial phases of our project. The 'impersonate' feature is also great, as it allows us to debug the app from the perspective of our users. Overall, these features significantly ease the management of our products' authentication. I would have liked to have more 'standard' fields, for example: 'First name', 'Last name'. I didn't enjoy having to resort to metadata. The only way you can add first name and last name to your users is by putting this info in the metadata, which is less ideal. The product itself is good, however as of now I think I would rather recommend BetterAuth, which is open source, has all of the advanced features that Frontegg has, and it lives directly inside your own database (this makes everything so much simpler).
