What do you like best about EV Reach?

I work in a school that is 0.9 miles long from one end to the other. I use EV Reach every day. EV Reach saves me a lot of footwork. I can use it to remote into users' computers from my office and solve the easier problems that can be handled with a simple remote session. That feature alone saves me tons of time to work on computers and devices in need of repair. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about EV Reach?

As for the downsides to EV Reach, I honestly wish the center of the screen would go to dark mode like the rest of the screen. After a long day in front of the screen, it would be nice to not have to strain the eyes reeding black letters on a white screen. I prefer the white letters on a gray or black screen. What do you like best about EV Reach?

I like having the ability to see when a person on our network is available for remote support and can look into their computer specs before needing to even connect with them, this gives us a headstart on solving their issues quicker. Having the ability to search for an asset or person who controls the asset is a huge time saver as well! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about EV Reach?

It takes a while sometimes for computers to be detected again after a restart when we can connect back to the remote person based on DNS but overall this is a small issue and doesn't impact our ability to get assets fixed in a timely manor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about EV Reach?

The most helpful part is how simple the interface is to learn and use. I love being able to pass on tasks to other licensed users and they can easily use the remote software to finish any outstanding tasks without delay Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about EV Reach?

I do wish there was a quick check box for not alerting the user that you are inside their device. At times, this would have been a nice feature to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about EV Reach?

What I find intriguing about EV Reach is its focus on streamlined IT service management and remote support capabilities. It empowers IT teams by offering tools for automation, remote access, and endpoint management, which significantly enhances efficiency and reduces downtime. Its intuitive interface and robust functionality make it ideal for environments requiring seamless troubleshooting and proactive support across various systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about EV Reach?

While EV Reach is a robust tool, some areas it present challenges depending on the user needs:

Complex Configuration for Advanced Features: Setting up certain advanced automation or integrations is a bit complex.

User Interface Limitations: While functional, the interface is not as modern or intuitive compared to some newer competitors.

Resource Intensive: Running the software on older systems or devices leads to performance issues, especially with extensive remote sessions or processes.

Limited Customization: The flexibility in tailoring certain features or dashboards to specific organizational needs feel constrained.

Cost for Scalability: The pricing model is not appealing to want us to scale up and require more licenses or add-ons. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about EV Reach?

EV Reach is a great tool for remote support when working with on-network devices. We are able to remote it with a GUI or through a command line. It's simple to deploy scripts and to confirm they are working. The ability to deploy the agent was easy and it's very easy to push updates, Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about EV Reach?

1. As we go more remote since it works on-prem it does not have a good feature for helping with off network devices.

2. The sharing feature to share scripts with other users in our company does not work very well, it makes it hard to share scripts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
