**What do you like best about EV Reach?**

During my time as an IT professional, I have had the opportunity to work with many different remote support and management tools. While each has its strengths, EV Reach truly stands out to me because of its comprehensive feature set, ease of use, and reliability.

When I visited China, I had the chance to use EV Reach extensively, and I found it to be an excellent solution compared to the multiple remote support tools we have tried in the past. What makes it especially valuable is that it serves as a one-stop solution for all remote-related needs. Whether it’s scheduling tasks, preparing detailed reports, or providing remote support, EV Reach simplifies the process by consolidating everything into a single platform.

The software makes troubleshooting and resolving issues much faster, thanks to its seamless ability to connect to remote desktops and servers regardless of location. This has a direct impact on reducing response times and improving overall user satisfaction. Beyond remote access, EV Reach also provides a wide range of management capabilities such as remote software installations, system diagnostics, and real-time monitoring. This versatility helps us manage a complex IT environment with consistency and efficiency.

What I personally appreciate is its intuitive, user-friendly interface. Even for colleagues who may not have deep technical expertise, navigating and using the tool feels straightforward. This not only streamlines workflows but also helps increase productivity across the team.

EV reach has improved significantly, the software has been working much better with more features and tools. I use it in a daily basis, and I love the way how it runs in the computer.

Yes, even though the dashboard or main screen looks great and it’s easy to use, having some steps for new users when they first open the app will be great. like a guided tour of the app.

What I really like, and what stands out most, is how easy it is to use. I can review the log without the user having to stop working, which makes a big difference. I also appreciate the automation: it executes complex tasks, and the speed at which it pulls real-time data is impressive.

They need to improve certain parts of the interface. At times it feels overwhelming, mainly because there are so many features packed in at once.

I’ve been using remote support tools for a while now, and they usually just limit me to staring at the screen. With EV Reach, though, everything has been beneficial thanks to how seamlessly it operates. It reduces incident response time, transforms support into a quiet information management system, and helps eliminate bottlenecks. It’s amazing, and I hope it stays that way.

I am from the IT area and what I have liked the most about this tool is how intuitive the visualization of the ticket queue by user group is and the tasks assigned to me.

This year we have experienced issues with slowness and at times it has remained somewhat slow. It has been reported to support and resolved promptly.

Well, for the moment it fulfills the functions we had planned. We use this tool to carry out export processes (among other things) and it is quite useful.

The key point of this tool, which I had completely forgotten about, is that you have to clear the cache manually. This automation is extremely useful because it saves me hours of work. In addition, how smoothly it’s managed makes the user experience very pleasant.

It takes quite a long time to learn how to navigate the interface, and that’s really the only downside for me.

Remote Desktop and Access with EVReach Client. Secure and unattended remote session with multi-monitor support allows our IT Department to troublehshoot our workstations. 

Automation and Scripting: We deploy our core banking software to all 100+ workstations with EVReach bulit-in tools fo automating routing tasks like software deployment, patch managment and reducing manual effort. 

Integration and Security: Deep AD Integration for device discovery is convinient for our organization. As a onboarding task, we unload EZReach for all workstations.

**What do you dislike about EV Reach?**

Some users report occasional shortcomings in automation reliability and user interface intuitiveness, potentially requiring a learning curve for new admins.

Pricing can be higher for smaller setups, though it's justified for enterprise features in banking.

**What problems is EV Reach solving and how is that benefiting you?**

EVReach Agent versioning mismatch and updating agent task failing. Now, I know where you may be thinking. "That is an internal organization problem and most likely caused by a misconfiguration on our EVReach Server". If so, please feel free to reach back out to automate the Agent update to the organization.

I like that EV Reach works on demand whenever the user has an issue. I appreciate the ability to see firsthand the issue the user is having so it can be resolved in a timely manner. I also value the remote access to a device to troubleshoot and correct an issue.

**What do you dislike about EV Reach?**

I find the interface clunky and hard to use. It's hard to set up and configure, and then sometimes fails on connection. TeamViewer is more straightforward in this regard. The initial setup was difficult, and we needed an MSP for the initial install.

I use EV Reach for remote user interaction, helping me quickly see and resolve user issues. It works on demand whenever there's a problem, which is really convenient.

I love how EV Reach allows us to effectively connect with students and staff who are constantly moving around the campus, providing a seamless way to stay connected. The capability to remotely control external computers is particularly impressive, as it's achieved by the simple process of users clicking on an external link and entering a code. This feature significantly helps in resolving external issues faced by our parent community, who often lack the IT skills required to navigate our portals. It empowers us to see what they are seeing, thereby simplifying troubleshooting and providing a much-needed bridge for effective communication and assistance. Additionally, setting up EV Reach has been straightforward and hassle-free. Installing it on a server and installing the clients was smooth, and everything has been working well since. The experience has been fantastic overall, leading me to give it an enthusiastic 10 out of 10 rating.

I have an issue with the support for EV Reach, which operates in US time zones. This creates a significant time barrier for us based in Australia, making it difficult to get timely assistance.

This remote support feature has saved me significant time and effort by eliminating the need to visit each user's desk physically. The setup process was also a breeze, being super straightforward, which allowed me to integrate it smoothly into our environment despite some minor challenges with script deployment. Moreover, the wide array of functionalities that EV Reach offers is impressive; I use almost every feature available, such as verifying user login sessions with the power function and utilizing the scripting function for tackling desktop issues. It seamlessly allows me to deploy software as MSI, MSIX, or EXE files effectively. Additionally, EV Reach complements Active Directory management splendidly, amplifying its capabilities for managing users and workstations significantly. I found challenges in the deployment of scripts and ensuring they integrate correctly within the environment. Additionally, I experienced difficulties in renewing the contract, as our attempts to repurchase EV Reach were met with a lack of response from their team. This created uncertainty and frustration in the process. Furthermore, there are unresolved questions regarding how our network interacts with the software, which necessitates technical discussions with engineers. This indicates a need for more comprehensive support or clearer documentation to address network integration concerns.

I like the seamless device transitions and the easy-to-use interface. It helps me assist my customers more quickly, and I don't have to fumble around with the tool.

I would love to be able to manage print properties remotely. I cannot even open and see printer properties via remote device management. One of the integrated things we do often is sending files between computers with SMB, it would be nice if this was built-in to the interface like clipboard access.

The solution allows for an efficient unification of Active Directory services, both for users and machines, while facilitating the management of workstations. Problem resolution is greatly facilitated by the ability to inject scripts and distribute software remotely. The control is quick and powerful. I consult my Active Directory with EvReach daily.

I have several domain controllers and I find that DNS resolution is sometimes unpredictable.

Updating certain software, issues with GPO or Intune policies, Windows updates. The powerful remote control saves me from traveling.

It is amazing. I can remote to PC's by host name or IP address but the best part is you can actually remote to the PC and run commands in the command line without the user knowing (without disturbing the user) I use it to run commands, check who is logged into the PC, get network information and more!" There is also a live call option that is built into goverland so you can actually call or chat with the user!

Nothing I think your product is amazing it has assisted me with maximizing my productivity as a tier 2 technician at the largest credit union in my state!

Our problem is an IP address issue which is not related to the goverland client but its a DNS issue on our end DHCP problem

I like that I can add printers and software without having to be logged into the machine. I also like the RemoteCMD function. It is easy to sue and navigate and simple to administrate. We use it every day for our IT support and it has been a game changer for us.

Sometimes it will not allow me to copy and paste into the session.

EV Reach helps us solve the main issue of remote support. With EV Reach we can remotely add printers and install software. We can also remote into the device and troubleshoot and resolve issues. Most times we are able to resolve the issues without having to physically be at the device which makes our department more efficient and effective.

What I appreciate most is the capability to run diagnostics and implement system-level fixes without disrupting the user experience. This kind of background management is crucial for meeting SLAs and speeding up MTTR, allowing complex issues to be resolved on the first contact.

One aspect I dislike is that to achieve truly comprehensive proactive monitoring and management—a complete RMM solution—you need to integrate additional EasyVista modules. EV Reach is mainly focused on resolution and access features, rather than offering full continuous monitoring capabilities on its own.

It would be nice to remotely access the computers when they are online even if they are off of our local network as you can with other remote access software.

Nothing. I absolutely HATE EV Reach. I've been in IT 22 years and have used multiple remote access systems. This is by far the worst one I have ever used.

Everything. The UI is terrible. The UX is terrible. The entire system is clunky and slow.

While it’s currently a Windows desktop tool, I believe it would be significantly more powerful as an on‑premises web application. That would simplify multi‑user management and streamline network security configurations.

EV Reach addresses some of the most time-consuming aspects of IT support by enabling seamless remote access and background system management. Whether users are on-site or working remotely, I can quickly resolve issues without interrupting their workflow or traveling to their location. **What do you like best about EV Reach?**

EV Reach is an all-in-one program. The application provides excellent coverage with a list of features which any user can take advantage of to provide excellent service. The installation of the program is seamless and very easy. The Customer Support provided by the EV team is unmatched and allows for users to freely connect with them to solve problems and any issues faced. 
EV Reach is part of my daily used programs for remotely connecting to end user computers, as the program integrated into the internal network with ease. I am able to navigate the internal active directory, resetting passwords and more.

**What do you dislike about EV Reach?**

The only issue that I am having with EV Reach is when the systems are older, there proves to be problematic to connect.

EV Reach allows myself and my entire team the ability to provide remote assistance to systems all over the globe. It creates a cost saving benefit because the team doesn't have to travel to provide support to specific issues and problems encountered by the business.

I love the easy device visibility, it's become a great tool for everyone. It allows me to access our employees' computers and offers various valuable features. It makes device management much easier, it's fantastic to have different user levels.

**What do you dislike about EV Reach?**

It would be really useful if there were a connector available between the two products. I also wish there were more pre-built packages to choose from. Occasionally, the machines do not register as expected. Additionally, I would like to have an option to hide groups.

**What problems is EV Reach solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool has significantly cut down the time and effort needed, making it very simple to automatically update specific applications. It has assisted me several times when working with users, and it also supports administrators in resolving issues for end users.

Integration with AD and even with LAPS. Handy tools and scripts to deploy. Easy to manage and install programs. Usefull controls on the remote control. Automation works well.

Missing 3rd party patching built-in. I know I can do it manually, but I need something that does patching automatically.

I appreciated how smooth and quick the onboarding process was, as it didn't disrupt the staff's workflow at all. I also really like how seamlessly all the software applications are integrated, making the system very easy to use. What stands out to me most about EV Reach is the convenience of being able to manage everything from a single location.

**What do you dislike about EV Reach?**

It would be nice if the remote access tool would ask the user for permission to connect. It would also be nice if it were a little more reliable so we can make sure we use it regularly.

This tool provides me with very fast and stable connections to remote computers. I find the remote control feature especially useful. The workflows are also easy to use.

I have used EV Reach (formerly Goverlan) since 2015; a decade.  To me it is a must have for our ability to service clients on our network.  Remoting, monitor, installing, adding printers, and much more.  It just makes everything easier.  A must have in any network.

Current documentation on the system, features, and customization.  Everyone hates doing boring documentation, but if you are going to make the best software, its not better without good documentation.

Still think the purchase by another company can be problematic, they are pushing their other solutions more and not focused on the Reach product.

Sometimes the reach server crashes and does not get logon events and crashed which causes us to not be able to tell what user is logged into what workstation. Difficult to get support and sometimes the application completely crashes and losses connection to it's databases. The app losing connection to the DB(s) has been going on for a few years and support doesn't seem to have a clue of the cause or how to fix it.

I think not having web-based interface for multi-user access is a downside of EV Reach.

I like how well it integrates with AD to provide onsite and remote troubleshooting for IT issues. It integrates with Microsoft and Windows LAPS which is great for troubleshooting issues where a machine is off the internal network and may only have internet access.

**What do you dislike about EV Reach?**

I'd like for there to be an option to try and correct stale IP addresses, maybe the EV clients on the remote machines could check in with a central sever on an IP address change. It seems currently to go off DNS which has issues in our large environment.

**What problems is EV Reach solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It cuts down on travel cost and/or cost of shipping equipment back and forth to be fixed. I also use it to push software and run tasks in the background on machines to fix issues without interrupting the user.

Deployment si simple, with options to deploy via domain, policy, or pre-shared link distribution. Customer support contacted me fairly quickly when I needed to troubleshoot an issue. EV Reach offers a cost-effective, easy-to-use, and reliable remote access platform.

**What do you dislike about EV Reach?**

EV Reach doesn't need to display all screens upon connection. There's a brief delay with no visible activity once the agent is installed. Users may think nothing is happening, but it eventually loads.

**What problems is EV Reach solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of EV Reach's best features is its price, I don't think any current product can beat it. It's also easy to use and manage. As an administrator, it's very simple for me to start a remote session, and it's also very easy for the person I'm supporting to join.

- Wake on lan is a struggle to set up
- Doesnt always update IP of Wifi devices and keeps old IP configurations. Restarts dont help
- Ghost admin mode is doable but at times a hassle to set up

They solve to resolve business/school tickets in a timely manner when you do not have to take a physical trip to the job site. The reliable connections is what helps the service be useful. Wake on Lan feature is an option but is unreliable when it comes to initial configuration.

The Goverland Reach server does exactly what it says it does, very quickly and easily allows our Help Desk to support all of our systems remotely, including those off the network.

There really isn't much to dislike, it just works, but with that being said, there are a few things concerning the reports automation/software installs that I would do differently, but it still does exactly what it states it will.

Allows our techs to remote into systems, whether the end user is there or not, allows them to install/uninstall/repair software with very few clicks.  It makes our team much more effecient.

What I like least about EV Reach is that, on some occasions, the initial setup can be somewhat complex and requires a certain learning curve. Additionally, it would be ideal to improve the response speed in large networks and optimize integration with other management systems.

One of the problems with EV Reach is that in environments with a large number of devices, synchronization and performance can be affected, which can slow down some operations. It's the easier program to use, it can be set up in seconds. The best features I find incredible are the screen sharing and remote access, which make it easy to work on projects without having to be present.

EV Reach meets all the requirements it offers, I have no performance or speed issues. The only downside is that there are occasional server issues, and in those cases, they are very difficult to resolve remotely.

It's lightweight, performs well with low latency on poor internet connections, and is affordable. EV Reach builds confidence by guiding users in real time, helping them overcome technical obstacles without stress.
