
We find Dynamic Yield to be quite user-friendly. It’s great for non-technical users, but it also has plenty of advanced options through coding to make it truly customizable and functional for our team. This flexibility is a significant advantage and overall makes DY more powerful than other personalization providers. The Audience Manager feature in particular has been a big differentiator for us, because it allows us to scalably digest insights from across our traffic, understand different behaviors and preferences, and map that back to our strategies and campaigns. It’s a small concern, but worth noting: campaign performance reporting. There’s room for improvement when it comes to analyzing segmentation and campaign results. Some small features would make a big difference. I would prefer the ability to set different time frames while looking at comprehensive data. The UI is very user-friendly, which makes the UX a great pleasure. Once the connections (API) are set up, the data exchange works very smoothly. If a question should nevertheless arise, you can contact the person in charge (in our case Yonatan) directly, who either has the right solution ready or can otherwise pull the right strings to find a solution. I would appreciate the inclusion of an expanded dataset in recommendation reports. Presently, the tool's limit is set at 30 days, and having the flexibility to examine data over a year would be highly beneficial.
I find it less than ideal that there's no provision to organize campaigns into cohesive folders. While I can categorize them as draft, active, or archived, the inability to group them based on a common theme results in a less organized and somewhat cluttered experience for me. Dynamic Yield is our go-to tool for AB testing and personalization - it's easy to use for non technical folks and the support is excellent. The platform has a wide variety of out of the box templates that can be customized and set live in a matter of minutes. Having such a breadth of templates has been a lifesaver during our peak sale season as it reduces our need for developer support and provides customers with engaging experiences on-site.
By far one of the best parts about Dyanmic Yield is their incredible support and strategy team. We have bi-monthly meetings with our Account Manager, Ashley and she's been so helpful with providing strategy recommendations, reports on our performance and insights on where we can improve. The support team is also lightning fast with getting back to us if we have any issues setting up campaigns.

I find Dynamic Yield to be useful for several reasons. First off, they offer an array of free learning opportunities. I have personally developed a better understanding of personalization strategies, and how to leverage them for my company. Dynamic Yield also provides several use cases for personalization experiments as well as A/B test campaigns. This has been extremely helpful for myself and team when we are in the ideation phase of developing personalization concepts and strategies. Lastly, the dashboard view that highlights up-to-date performance for live A/B tests, banner KPIs, and product recommendations is very beneficial. One of the downsides to Dynamic Yield is the inability to download and export certain reports. The option to view reports such as audience performance is helpful but it would be more benefical if the data could be exported to an excel file.
