What do you like best about Dynamic Yield?

We find Dynamic Yield to be quite user-friendly. It’s great for non-technical users, but it also has plenty of advanced options through coding to make it truly customizable and functional for our team. This flexibility is a significant advantage and overall makes DY more powerful than other personalization providers. The Audience Manager feature in particular has been a big differentiator for us, because it allows us to scalably digest insights from across our traffic, understand different behaviors and preferences, and map that back to our strategies and campaigns. I’d also note that the customer support with DY is truly above and beyond and consistently exceeds expectations, the best I’ve had in the business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dynamic Yield?

It’s a small concern, but worth noting: campaign performance reporting. There’s room for improvement when it comes to analyzing segmentation and campaign results. Some small features would make a big difference. I would prefer the ability to set different time frames while looking at comprehensive data. We use Dynamic Yield to run extensive A/B tests and improve the overall experience and performance of our site. Product discovery and education are key for us (testing layouts, strategies like affinity, showcasing different layouts, etc.) and in general we have been able to create more personalized touchpoints throughout the user journey. What do you like best about Dynamic Yield?

The UI is very user-friendly, which makes the UX a great pleasure. Once the connections (API) are set up, the data exchange works very smoothly. If a question should nevertheless arise, you can contact the person in charge (in our case Yonatan) directly, who either has the right solution ready or can otherwise pull the right strings to find a solution. What do you like best about Dynamic Yield?

- The pre-made templates offered are fantastic. They cover a wide range of content types, and even if a template doesn't meet all your requirements, it's easy to customize them to suit your needs.

- One standout feature of DY is their exceptional support team. Whether it's the support team itself or our dedicated strategy manager, Jennifer, they consistently respond promptly to any queries or assistance we may need. They are quick to offer creative ideas or simple workarounds, which is particularly valuable given our somewhat complex shop system. Working with Jennifer has been a pleasure, and the speedy support team is a definite asset.

- The onboarding course is also excellent, featuring live sessions where you can learn by doing. The ability to ask questions in real-time and receive clear, understandable answers enhances the overall learning experience.

What do you dislike about Dynamic Yield?

I would appreciate the inclusion of an expanded dataset in recommendation reports. Presently, the tool's limit is set at 30 days, and having the flexibility to examine data over a year would be highly beneficial.

I find it less than ideal that there's no provision to organize campaigns into cohesive folders. While I can categorize them as draft, active, or archived, the inability to group them based on a common theme results in a less organized and somewhat cluttered experience for me. What do you like best about Dynamic Yield?

Dynamic Yield is our go-to tool for AB testing and personalization - it's easy to use for non technical folks and the support is excellent. The platform has a wide variety of out of the box templates that can be customized and set live in a matter of minutes. Having such a breadth of templates has been a lifesaver during our peak sale season as it reduces our need for developer support and provides customers with engaging experiences on-site.

By far one of the best parts about Dyanmic Yield is their incredible support and strategy team. We have bi-monthly meetings with our Account Manager, Ashley and she's been so helpful with providing strategy recommendations, reports on our performance and insights on where we can improve. The support team is also lightning fast with getting back to us if we have any issues setting up campaigns.

What do you like best about Dynamic Yield?

You can go from an idea or brainstorm session to launching a test on the same daye becuase of Dynamic Yield's out of the box templates for hundreds of concepts for any website. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dynamic Yield?

I don't dislike anything truly, but ideally implementing product recommendation strategoies on PDPs to be faster would be ideal. You need to set up strategies, and then campaign. It would be great to build the strategy in the campaign to reduce work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

1. Being able to A/B test helps not only improve conversion, but also reduces cost of implementing ideas which would not have helped.

2. Improve average order value by using their product recommendation engine on product pages and cart.

What do you like best about Dynamic Yield?

I find Dynamic Yield to be useful for several reasons. First off, they offer an array of free learning opportunities. I have personally developed a better understanding of personalization strategies, and how to leverage them for my company. Dynamic Yield also provides several use cases for personalization experiments as well as A/B test campaigns. This has been extremely helpful for myself and team when we are in the ideation phase of developing personalization concepts and strategies. Lastly, the dashboard view that highlights up-to-date performance for live A/B tests, banner KPIs, and product recommendations is very beneficial. What do you dislike about Dynamic Yield?

One of the downsides to Dynamic Yield is the inability to download and export certain reports. The option to view reports such as audience performance is helpful but it would be more benefical if the data could be exported to an excel file. Dynamic Yield combines an enterprise-level experimentation tool with a unique product recommendation offering. Unlike some tools, DY also integrates with email to allow for a more holistic personalization strategy. What do you like best about Dynamic Yield?

Dynamic Yield has a number of amazing features. One of the most valuable components is the audience segmentation. The ability to create strategic audience groups and then breakdown test data by those audiences is tremendously helpful to understand how certain groups behave. Companies can seamlessly create an entire site experience for a variety of identified personas, which is why we believe DY is the best tool for personalization. Additionally, DY is the only tool that requires a product feed, which can be incredibly powerful. Many companies simply do A/B testing without considering how the various experiences affect specific groups of people. In those situations, analysis of testing efforts lumps all users into one category which can be overly generalized. Not all users are alike and we shouldn't optimize as if they were. The templates are easy to work with and provide a good jump-off point to build custom solutions. The UI of setting up the A/B testing is nice, visually. We are able to use recommendations and dynamic content that help with our merchandising strategy and create a streamlined branding.

For example,we needed a solution to develop a Gift Guide with category selectors on our PLP to work with our existing Searchspring integration. I was able to build a custom solution using multitouch and two existing templates merged with JS.
