DTM makes the annual review process much easier and streamlined. I like the workflow style of the annual review process. I like the calendar and the ability to take or sign up for classes/learning that my company provides. This process works well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
DTM is not always very user-friendly or intuitive for less tech-savvy individuals, particularly during the annual review process. The quarterly check-in does not pull into the review easily, making it nearly pointless during review time. Deltek Talent Management is a robust suite of applications that allow everything from recruiting, onboarding and performance management. Entire suite has many options that allow customers to customize workflow all the way through entire process from candidate, to employee and beyond. Onboarding is simple and easy to setup. Performance management is also pretty straightforward to setup and use. Previous Silkroad users will not have any issues with user adoption as the interface are very similar in nature. I like that this tool integrates almost all of the steps of our talent acquisition process (i.e. requisition creation, screening applicants, interview scheduling, offer letters, onboarding, etc.). I also like the reporting features of the tools. We also use CostPoint, so it is nice that the 2 tools are integrated. I like the automatic cross-posting with Indeed, LinkedIn, etc. I like how almost all of the fields in the tool are customizable as well (especially the workflows feature - that is great!). I also like that it can integrate with our 3rd party Background Check/Drug Screening company (HireRight). I like that the tool separates Resumes from Candidates for reporting purposes. - Job Titles have to originate in CostPoint and can't be updated once a req has been created (they are hardcoded).
- Unable to emulate other users when testing without creating a new account.
- Applicant workflow seems to be confusing for a lot of candidates (a lot of people are not completing their full online applications).
- When a manager clicks the link to provide feedback for a specific candidate they resume/prescreen notes are not available.
- Interview scheduling tool is not intuitive and needs a big overhaul. We would love to use it, but it is not user-friendly.
- We have multiple levels of approvers for each offer letter. It would be great if you can edit an offer letter without having to "Reject" it. This feature is very confusing to our management team.
- Our management team seems to struggle to view candidates in the system. It would be nice if they were not able to see candidates that are no longer in consideration for a position (or, if they can only view candidates in the tool associated with their requisitions that are active candidates).
- You have to associate a location with requisitions even if the position is remote in order for the requisition to be posted on 3rd party websites. Not being able to advertise a position as only remote makes it a lot less appealing to candidates and is confusing.
- There needs to be "Save" buttons on the Offer Details creation page and on the candidate's Secondary Application page.
- Need the ability to delete old classes in the Learning module.
- It would be great if you had the ability to see the entire company in the Org Chart.
- While you can create custom fields in the tool, only certain letters will allow you to pull data to integrate into Merge Codes for certain Dynamic Forms.

Integration does not work. Problems with rehires. The username is the email address, and people have multiple email accounts and this creates a high risk with duplicate records. Offboarding wizard does not work. Recruiting search does not work well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have used this tool for timekeeping and employee development. I was able to help keep track the life cycle development within our company on my designated employees.
