Effective platform to manager all things organic social media **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Apparel & Fashion | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2023 **What do you like best about Dash Social?** Once you understand all of the capabilites and functionalities of the platform, it's really easy to set up recurring reports and pull metrics as needed, schedule posts, learn about competitors etc. So overall, I would say that the best about Dash Hudson is the user-friendly interface. **What do you dislike about Dash Social?** I can't say I necesarily "dislike" anything particular but I would say that unless you work with your Account Manager or someone else to full understand all the capabilites, it can be frustrating to have to do things manually that should be set up automatically (that can be, but you just have to know how to do it)!. **What problems is Dash Social solving and how is that benefiting you?** The problem would be understanding the ever-changing landscapes that is organic social media, reviewing that information and then turning it into posts that ultimately, help you to reach our social goals. With Dash Hudson, we are able to pull all of the metrics we need whether that's per week, monthly, annually, or metrics for a single post which provides our team with the necessary information to continue to generate content that is resonating with our audience. ### 4. I wish Dash attempted to re-schedule the post the same day automatically, possibly during a preferred time period chosen by the brand. Also, it would be beneficial if there was an option to switch from a weekly to a two week view when scheduling farther out in general or when rescheduling posts from the previous week with the drag option instead of moving posts individually by manually selecting the correct day and time slot each time. Having the option to leave notes in the scheduler (just how a post is viewed) would be helpful too. Another feature that would be helpful would be to filter the comments by negative and positive. Lastly, it would be helpful to incorporate an AI feature, similar to Chat GPT to help assist with writing social copy and headlines and limit burnout while the populaity of AI is at an all-time high. **What problems is Dash Social solving and how is that benefiting you?** The Dash Hudson support team responds quickly, professionally and kindly to emails. They have also been more than happy to set up meetings for further discussion and clarification regarding the site when necessary, even if there is no fix on their end. However, rep turnover is frequent so regularly scheduled meetings can be delayed in-between. ### 5. We use it almost every day for reporting, content and community upkeep, and research. Its a very easy platform to navigate and we see improvements on the platform on a regular basis that's user-friendly. The team at Dash Hudson has also been really helpful with every need and request we have, so effective and efficient. **What do you dislike about Dash Social?** Our least used tool is the community tab, mostly because we already utilize a different tool for this already. However, an improvement to suggest would be to have the UGC management included in the platform in the future, where brands can ask for rights to use the users' content. **What problems is Dash Social solving and how is that benefiting you?** Reporting and scheduling content. It's really easy to navigate all the reporting features and being able to download reports saves time. Being able to easily compare different periods is also a major addition. For example, if I pull IG stats for the month of June, the numbers will vary depending on if I pull them July 1st vs. July 30th. In this example, it would be helpful to get the numbers just from June 30th – I think currently, it'll pull the stats from whatever the day is. Their UGC function with the engagement predictor is great. I love their new Competitors Tab, it helped me a ton with my competitive audit for 2022. **What do you dislike about Dash Social?** Dash Hudson is quickly becoming more and more helpful. However, there are metrics that are lacking due to API restrictions. I'm thinking of shares on posts, story reposts metrics, link clicks within IG Stories, Reels impressions, and IG Collaboration metrics. I would also love to see the reports getting a bit more custom. For example, adding in metrics or calculations from our side would be great. It also doesn't support posting IG collaborations at the moment and doesn't allow tags within TikTok so I'm manually posting 90% of our content unfortunately. **What problems is Dash Social solving and how is that benefiting you?** Dash Hudson helps us figure out which pieces of UGC might do well on the platform. I love its visual A I predictor of engagement for our own feed as well as competitors. Obviously, scheduling content with Dash Hudson is a huge benefit as well as its Campaigns solving for when I'm pulling metrics on quick asks (i.e., How is the "What We Love" series doing on our Instagram"). Quick pulls in general with custom time frames are super useful. Analyzing competitors has been a huge help as well so we don't have to manually pull. ### 17. I'd also love a feature to select TikTok cover frame options so our team can test auto publishing those! While many metrics softwares have 'labels' that help group content together, Dash's boards are more visual and well laid out in my opinion. It will cut your reporting time in half, it's efficient and well designed for a seamless experience.
