Overall, the simplicity of the system helps our employees feel the value of our people team processes (i.e. performance reviews, feedback, engagement surveys). Culture Amp gives the right amount of insight for engagement surveys, prioritizing action over all else, to equip managers for action. This helps our team build credibility and trust. The biggest opportunity for Culture Amp usability is the reporting/exporting functions within the performance module. It's currently very difficult to run reports that give you what you want without having to modify them quite a bit. Integration with our HRIS has also been less than ideal. The most counter-intuitive user interface to come out on Earth after MS DOS, and it beats it by a large margin! It is a nightmare to setup, a nightmare to use and a nightmare to ask for support. Let me just show you their instrucions as per their documentation how to change the UI language:

“1. First, make sure the languages you need are enabled for your account. If not, reach out to our Product Support team to enable them.

2. Once enabled, export your user file from Settings > Users > Export Users.

3. Add the preferred language code for each user in the exported file. You can find the list of language codes in our support guide.

4. If you use an HRIS integration, update the language column in your HRIS directly.

5. Finally, either sync the update or manually upload the user file if you don't use an HRIS.“

Their Slack integration is not internationalized so it is very awkward to give похвали to your teammate when English is not your native tongue. If you feel awkward looking at the strange letters in the middle of the previous sentence, then you know how I feel every time I recognize my coworkers achievements in our native tongue (which CultureAmp calls shoutout). Another anti-feature is endorsing particular aspect of your coworker achievement: they choose to use emoji reactions for this. I’ve been using this software for a while now, and one of its standout features is how well-organized the system is. Everything is laid out in a clear and intuitive way, making it easy to navigate. While the software has many strengths, there are a few aspects that I’m not entirely satisfied with. At times, it feels a bit robotic and overly rigid in its structure. The system can be too schematic, which occasionally makes it less adaptable to more dynamic or creative workflows. It would be great to see a bit more flexibility in its design. Culture Amp has been incredible from a user’s perspective, and I’ve been using it for the past 2 years, before We’ve faced challenges in tracking employee goals, and progress, and keeping them updated, which impacted their overall evaluations. However, with Culture Amp, it has become much easier to monitor performance and recognize achievements. The platform provides valuable insights into employee experiences, helps identify areas for improvement, and supports data-driven decisions to enhance company culture, performance, and productivity. The application lacks Google Calendar integration and doesn't offer mass reminder functionality for the performance module. Additionally, the 1:1 module is essential but cannot be customized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Having used Culture Amp for mid year appraisals and reviews, I find it a very useful online tool to do annual and mid year reviews on objectives and plans for the coming year. It is easy to complete the forms, and set out objectives, plus my manager can read and acknowledge my efforts and respond accordingly. The breadth of features makes it a great centralised tool for setting goals, providing feedback, and performance monitoring. The features are also very simple and intuitive which limits the difficulty-of-use related barrier which may put some people off from utilising an application. Still learning the full potential and what is available for now. Since this all new to me and had not yet utilized all the tools it has to offer I can't say I have anything I dislike about Culture AMP as it is always a good platform for tracking growth and development.
