Certain was the first platform I learned, and it feels so comfortable. They often make improvements to help make the registration process flow better. I like the drag and drop features, customization of form sections, flexibility in building robust websites. My team has creatively used websites, forms, and sessions to meet our unique client needs. Jeff Yarnell is so knowledgeable when providing platform use and development support, always willing to dig deeper and give clear answers. Certain has easy and robust reporting, which is a struggle at times in other platforms. I also like its housing module - especially rooming list change reports! At times, the level 1 support can give answers that are not helpful or that obviously need escalation. As an experienced user, I wish we had access to higher level support in a quicker timeframe. We have not found many clients who have utilized the On24 virtual platform, so I am not confident in its success. The website builder has potential to be even greater, and I would like to see some improvements that can create sites more like you'd see in WordPress. It would be great to have a learning management type option, we often have to create these and they don't often work smoothly, but there could be more ease in building something like that. Users often find the tool difficult to navigate and understand. The best-supported features may not meet your needs; it is optimized for large conferences. If you don't use the tool in the most standard way, you may need to do a bunch of kludges to get by. There have been multiple occasions in which tool updates/releases have caused major issues for live registrations, so my org lacks some confidence in the stability of the tool. The Certain platform is extremely flexible and able to meet the needs of our clients - most of whom have specific and varied requirements. The reporting out of the platform is amazing in its versatility, and allows different groups to have different views of the same event with little effort. The platform does take a while to learn how to navigate, and its very flexibility lends to users making errors or finding it hard to learn how to do things. I also wish they would have ability to automate emails on a micro level instead of macro. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Certain's automation tools and capabilities are very helpful. Above and beyond what we have in some of our other email automation platforms. Specifically the ability to append fields (and create custom fields) for use across all assets within Certain. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Certain contains versatile, logic-based functionality that allows you to customize the event experience & communication for attendees and customize data collection for event managers. Usually, if you have an idea or need to execute a special workflow, Certain has a solve. The support team, customer success managers, and implementation specialists are 100% dedicated to ensuring the software can execute on customer needs. While it offers a WYSIWYG interface and a ton of helpful documentation with the Page Help feature, Certain is a very indepth tool to learn. The onboarding takes time and dedication, it's not an easy transition when onboarding new team members.
I do wish there were a bit more reporting metrics provided with the scheduled email functionality - similar to a true email automation system - open rates, click throughs, ability to get more granular on who is engaging with the email. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
