As an Account Executive, one of the things I value most about CaptivateIQ is the transparency and accuracy in tracking my commissions month after month. I can see in real time how much I’ve earned and what I will receive in my upcoming payments, which helps me plan my finances better. The interface is very intuitive, and the ability to view a detailed breakdown of my payments gives me confidence that everything is correctly calculated. What do you like best about CaptivateIQ?

I was introduced to CaptivateIQ at my current company to see and manage my payouts. Since, this is my first sales role, where the commissions are depended on company performance, quota, and other factors, it can be hard to know if the payout one is receiving is accurate or not. There is no definitions section in CaptivateIQ. For someone like me who comes from non-sales background, I had to google each and every term I saw in CaptivateIQ. This of course can be handled outside CaptivateIQ and by my organization but having this feature would have been a huge plus so I didn't have to look up each term outside the platform. What problems is CaptivateIQ solving and how is that benefiting you?

What I heard from my manager is that CaptivateIQ has made the Sales Leaderships lives easier. They have automated sales compensation to an extent that they don't have to have manual checks in place, less prone to human calculation errors.

What do you like best about CaptivateIQ?

So far there is no downside, it has been easy to use and pretty self-explanatory. There was a great training done so the customer support aspect is helpful if you do need assistance. This was rolled out very quickly and the implementation was simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Before we just had to trust our commission checks would arrive when they were supposed to and be the correct amount. Captivate IQ is a smooth running easy to view tool. Compared to a large PDF that was used previously that was hard to read, Captivate IQ is so nice. I like the format of the platform and the inquiry section where I can reach out to my team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CaptivateIQ?

From an end user perspective, as clean and smooth as it is, it can be overwhelming. There is a lot of data you can enter and a lot of data to view, but this could be an admin thing on our end. It is solving the old work flow problems of getting a massive PDF for my commissions. Everything is now all in one place and can be easily viewed. I am still getting used to the platform and it can be a bit overwhelming but I think that comes from lack of experiance more than anything. What do you like best about CaptivateIQ?

Captivate IQ is a breeze to use and helps provide transparency to complex calculations for sales commissions and bonuses. The UI provides all of the most important information upfront and allows the user to dive into individual line items to understand where the total commission number came from and performance against goals. What do you dislike about CaptivateIQ?

I can't think of many downsides in my 1 year of usage. It would be nice to have greater visibility of a current month's performance in the first week or two of a month while the previous month's compensation is still finalizing. When my organization adopted CaptivateIQ, it finally provided me an accessible way to view my sales compensation and understand the where, when, and why of my compensation plan. What do you like best about CaptivateIQ?

I like how user-friendly Captivate IQ is. The large font and way of navigation on the interface makes it simple and easy to follow. What do you dislike about CaptivateIQ?

To be honest, the "Inquiry" section can be a little challenging. There isn't a clear button that says begin new inquiry and lets you see the different conversations with the different cases. It picks up in the same "chat" as your last case (it does say new chat though) but just continues down. What do you like best about CaptivateIQ?

It makes it easier and more rewarding to keep track of my commissions. See what accounts it's coming from. When things are going well at my sales job, I am logging in multiple times a week. And when it's finally time to approve my payout, I love seeing the confetti popping and it adds more joy and fun to the fruits of my hard labor.

I also like the graphs it shows with my monthly payouts, the clean layout and ease of use.

Lastly, I am big on goal setting and visualization. Having a platform dedicated to reviewing my commission earnings, makes it easier to visualize specific business goals. For example, last month I used the bar graph. I visualized a specific size / monetary amount for the new bar corresponding to the month of February. What do you dislike about CaptivateIQ?

When things aren't going so well at my sales job, Im not visiting the website much cause it reminds me Im not really making financial progress, as far as commissions go.

What do you like best about CaptivateIQ?

Having such a clear and concise view of my compensation. The breakdowns by line item, % of quota, $ amount associated with each metric, etc. It's just fancy enough without having too many frills to overcomplicate what this is - a way to easily understand how much you're being paid. There's not much to dislike about CaptivateIQ. At times it feels as if you can tell there will be later iterations of the platform - be it UI, UX, etc. - because the look and feel can seem a bit rudimentary. But then you remember what this solution does for you which is making your compensation easy to understand and view and you almost don't want those later iterations. As a member of the sales team, I particularly enjoyed CapitvateIQ's ability to display all sales-related information clearly. Being able to view all numbers related to my deals in one place is especially important. The one small suggestion for improvement would be to change the new member experience potentially. The first time I used CapitivateIQ, it was a little tricky to navigate. It took some time for me to get comfortable with the platform truly. I think some additional guidance to the new-user onboarding process could be a long way.
