**What do you like best about Salesforce Spiff?**

I know what my commission payout will be for each quarter. I am reminded of what my commission earnings can be and and how I'm pacing. I can consult SPIFF anytime and don't have to ask my manager about my quarterly payments or when I can expect to be paid out.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce Spiff?**

I don't find the UI to be particularly good to look at. This could be how my organization uses SPIFF, but I also have to filter to weird time periods to find my quarterly payout.

**What problems is Salesforce Spiff solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't have to ask my manager what my quarterly payout is, and my manager doesn't have to calculate anything for me or maintain a large spreadsheet to keep track of this information.

**What do you like best about Salesforce Spiff?**

we obviously like the affordability of Spiff. We are able to have a pretty nice environment to have some creative freedom in what metrics and tools we use to bring in commissionable data and produce statements for others to see. Everything is accurate up until this point. We still use Spiff daily to update and communicate across the sales organization.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce Spiff?**

More support. We can pay for added support to our software solution, but any time we have general needs for something happening in Spiff or there is a new patch update that comes with a feature that causes confusion across our org, Spiff (or rather Salesforce) is very slow to respond and when they do respond they deflect us to attend a seminar to have our questions answered. This has caused some tension in our relationship with the Salesforce team

Spiff is solving our ability to communicate with the sales team. Instead of having to individually break down plans for members, we have an application dashboard that can more easily answer questions they may have about what opportunities they are included in and how they are being compensated

**What do you like best about Salesforce Spiff?**

Salesforce Spiff was a decent way to visualize my variable compensation over time. The UI was clean, and it was easy to navigate. Strong product if you are fully entrenched in the Salesforce ecosystem, as this was one of their many acquisitions.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce Spiff?**

Data was almost always a black box. It was hard to identify how commissions were calculated, especially when there was an additional spiff or multiplier for certain types of deals. Next to no AI capabilities, which seems like it would be an easy opportunity to streamline workflows.

**What problems is Salesforce Spiff solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Salesforce Spiff has created a single source of truth for our variable sales compensation. It connected easily to our Salesforce instance and updates at the end of the month. Previously, commissions were calculated across multiple tools, which made it difficult to track and understand as an individual contributor. I was quickly able to get answers and submit tickets if there were discrepancies.

I love the fact that Salesforce Spiff is always up to date with the best tips and tricks for how to earn spiffs. These updates are pretty straightforward and add a bunch of value because they always tell me how many sales I have remaining until I qualify. It's just very smooth and easy to understand. I also find the setup process a bit dummy easy, which is a plus.

I think it could be improved only in a sense of having a mobile app that was just as easy to understand. The mobile app kinda *****.

I absolutely love Salesforce Spiff! It provides full transparency for Commission and my Quarterly Bonus. 
It really helps me align my numbers & stay on track for my Quarterly Bonus Attainment. It's very user friendly & it's easy to see & keep track of your entire commission & multipliers. 
I continuously encourage my co-workers to utilize Salesforce Spiff to not only cross reference their commission but provide motivation as to what their earnings could be as they try to reach their goals. 

**What do you dislike about Salesforce Spiff?**

It would be helpful to have the Quarterly Commision Payout you earn visible on the final month, such as the current month you are in at the end of the quarter.) As it is currently, you have to check the next month to see keep track of your attainment.

**What problems is Salesforce Spiff solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Spiff helps me keep track of what I need to earn for my quarterly bonus attainment. I find this very important and I like that I can easily log into Spiff and see my earnings to keep me on track. It is much easier to do this, instead of having to calculate it on my own or even ask my manager because I like to learn as much as I can on my own.

Its hard to check my commission estimations when there are multiple kickers involved and when I didnt get paid commissions on a month and I should get them on the following one... like "still unpaid" deals

Quicker syncronization would be great.
Sometimes it takes too long to update with correct data from Salesforce.

The configuration is a bit complex and the learning curve is quite steep. Dashboard is not so user friendly so it takes time to really understand the metrics and dashboard

Spiff has worked with us heavily to better adapt to our needs and systems. No matter what we though as it it seems to be able to adapt and overcome which great if you have a team ready to work with it.

Account creation and ease of use rather than needing to rely on Role/Region records. More clear direction on why statement errors are currently happening and how it connects to the Role/Regions within Salesforce.

I like how it's a straight forward, and no-fluff platform. It is easy to use and navigate. My manager and I regularly look at and refer to Spiff during our weekly one-on-ones.

I think it could more clearly outline the respective team's commission plan; I find that area lacking right now. I think it could be more apparent how much more must be earned to make specific commission amounts.

No manual calculation however building plans or formulas feels quite complex and Excel-like. You often need to define compensation rules using expressions and conditional logic.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce Spiff?**

Complex commission structures sometimes stretch the platform’s flexibility, requiring workarounds. Not ideal!
Additionally, not instant feedback like Excel gives.

Spiff is removing all manual work which results in less errors in the actual calculation and no more spreadsheets to be shared with the team.

I love that Salesforce Spiff is super easy to use. A link is sent out internally to us, and I just click on it, sign in, and it's really a one-stop shop. I can see my progress and income, and then I can approve everything with the click of one button. It's great that everything is consolidated in one place so I don't have to hunt and peck around. The setup was tremendously easy, and it's very intuitive. It's very easy to set up and very easy to use. I gave it an absolute 10 out of 10 because it's a really, really good tool.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce Spiff?**

I would like to see a little more dynamic features. Maybe a different tab could tie in with all my account information in Salesforce. There might be an existing capability for projecting future income from deals, but I haven't found it. If there was something that showed what the projection of that income could be in the future, along with the commission statement, that would be very helpful. This could be an improvement for financial planning.

Incentive compensation is one of the vital business processes that improve performance of employees by encouraging them to put more effort into their projects. Salesforce Spiff is the only incentive compensation automation tool that we currently use in our facility. It help us run referral-network payouts - we have partnered with external specialists which earn for each referral that results in an admission where Salesforce Spiff validate the claim.

Since Salesforce Spiff depends on internet due to lack of offline access, it fails to update commission calculations in real-time when the there is an internet outage.

Locum-staff performance bonuses - through integration with external time tracking tools, clinicians in our facility are paid a base rate plus a bonus for meeting patient outcome threshold which is calculated with Salesforce Spiff for real-time transparency.

The initial setup required some planning, and the custom report-building functions were challenging to work through at first. That said, once configured, the platform performs reliably, and there’s nothing I would specifically identify as needing improvement overall.

Sometimes it is a bit confusing to find all the information and differentiate what is now and what are the clear goals. Honestly, i dont have many complaints, Its a new tool to us, but is better than what we were using before.

Just really giving us the chance to see not only how close we are to meeting our meeting goals, but seeing how much money we are making off of that. Traditionally we would have to wait a month to see how much we are making off the month before, but now we can track it instantly.

The​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌ thing that I liked the most about Spiff is the way it makes commission tracking so transparent that you can hardly believe it. Without me having to wait for the month-end reports, I can see exactly how each deal influences my earnings. The platform is not only intuitive and user-friendly, but it also allows me to very quickly check my commissions at any time of the day. I also really like the fact that it offers live updates — it is my dashboard that gets updated with the new information as soon as the deal is closed. What is more, Spiff works well with Salesforce, so I don’t have to do the data entry twice, which is another thing I am thankful for. The reporting tools give me insights into sales performance trends and help me with better planning. Along with this, it significantly cuts down on the risk of mistakes that may happen in a case of manually prepared spreadsheets. In short, Spiff is a great tool that takes away all the hassles from the process of commission management and makes it very easy for you to ​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌understand.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce Spiff?**

One​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌ of the things I don't like is that some of the customization options seem a little bit limited, particularly if the commission structure is complicated. There are times when the dashboard is slow to load because there are a lot of deals. If several changes occur at the same time, notifications can sometimes become too much. The learning curve for new team members is quite difficult, especially if they have never used similar tools before. Some report features need you to do a bit more work that can take some time. I also think that the mobile version could be a little more user-friendly. Besides these minor inconveniences, the platform still saves a lot of time and is great at reducing mistakes. It is really efficient after the correct setting of the ​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌rules.

Spiff​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌ removed the confusion factor of sales commissions. It was very cumbersome to keep track of earnings and adjustments through spreadsheets, and this work took hours every month. Now, the system updates everything automatically, which saves time and leaves no room for mistakes. Besides that, it is a great help for the team to stay motivated as everybody can see their progress in a very visual way.

The platform is the solution to the problem of miscommunication regarding commission rules, as it is a system where everything is recorded. Besides that, it enables management to easily experiment with new commission structures without causing any disruptions to the current calculations. It seems like the backend calculations work faster than they used to. Some small benefit. Salesforce seems to be continuing work on it to make it better. I look forward to what they come up with.

Reporting is still very limited, and the new "improved" Statement UI is MUCH harder for us to use. We have a large number of transactions and we have to export the statement to search for a transaction.

The design is great, the platform is easy to navigate, great service. If you're already on Salesforce, the native integration is a big advantage. Data flows directly from CRM into commission plans, reducing admin work.

**What do you dislike about Salesforce Spiff?**

Nothing comes to mind. Can be expensive for smaller sales teams. It also requires really good CRM hygiene. Maybe lower prices or create more plans for small/Med size teams

Tracking my monthly sales goals/commission accurately with an easy to read dashboard and helpful customer service.
