The software works as designed! The technology encapsulates "function and fashion". Captello makes it so easy to customize its App so that the event lead capture experience is specifically aligned to our needs. The only dislike is sometimes it is challenging to know the exact number of events we will support over an annual period, and their pricing aligns to number of events (and some add ons). After looking into several different badge scanning options, we went with Captello for its ease of use and configurability, ability to pull real time data, and appealing user interface. Since we started using Captello nearly 2 years ago, our company has captured thousands of reviews. This application is very user friendly, easy to use, and can be used anywhere. Our sales team loves how quickly they can capture a lead, and how quickly the turnaround time is to turn those leads into sales. There really isn't a downside to Captello, however, there is a little bit of a learning curve when you are first starting. There are many featuers that Captello has, it can be a little tricky to set up. But once that learning curve is done, it is easy to set up a new Captello form for events. I have excuted trade shows and events for my company for over 25 years, and for much of that time was in search of a comprehensive, all-in-one lead capture solution. The various apps, devices and solutions offered by the officially-designated lead retreival contractors are all over the map in terms of capabilities, ease of use and consistency of data output. Each one uses a different UI design, exports data in all sorts of formats and arrangements, and forces many installs of different, sometimes unknown apps onto company devices. This not only caused plenty of confusion and errors by booth staff, but also significantly delayed our post-event follow up, as we had to "massage" data and spend too much time cleaning it up before it could be ingested into downstream systems. Finally, the cost can get very high, especially with big spaces and large staff.

We have found few disadvantages to Captello. When getting started, there is certainly a learning curve for the administrators, to master how to best create capture forms and handle lead data. However, onboarding and training by Captello is excellent, minimizing trouble and enabling us to quickly get up to speed and be confident that we know how to achieve our goals. Our company is thrilled with how intuitive the tool is from a end user experience; it is sleek, easy to use if you haven't had a training and we are enjoying learning the new technology and capabilities that this tool has to offer. Being able to customize the forms to each event's requirements to having different stations within the same event or having multiple ways to scan in people has been a great asset to efficiently solving a lot of our original pain points! Because of the amount of customizations that you can do, it does take a quite a bit of time to get familiar with the backend admin capabilities. There is so much you can do, which is a good thing, but learning how to do all the things can get overwhelming. We have some reporting issues in very specific circumstances due to some API integratioin issues ( Not on Captello's side ). What isn't easy about Captello? I love every lead capture feature this software provides. Captello makes it easy to collect leads by using QR Codes and scanning badges, and I cannot wait to try the interscan (a new feature launched). When I took on my new role as Events Manager, I was advised I would need to use Captello to set up Conferenes and Tradeshows for the sales team so they can capture leads when attending the conference. I had never used Captello before and I had personal training by Laura Alin who was wonderful and made the training process so easy and was patient with me answering every question and even running through the process of setting up New Events in Captello. The Captello Lead Capture Software is an easy-to-use intuitive app that allows our team to quickly capture relevant information from leads at events. What I like best is the ability to quickly edit or make changes to an event easily without needing an admin or support from Captello. However, when I have had questions about creating or editing events, Captello support has been excellent. They are super quick, usually responding within an hour, and have always been able to help me. Every time I submit a question I think, this time I've got them...I will finally stump Captello support. Having used various lead capture software Captello offered solutions that addressed user needs like group scan capture and being able to integrate with our CRM in real time is a real plus for our efficiency in following up on show leads. The onboarding and customer service from Captello has been stellar to myself and our team.
