CallRail provides SOME insight in terms of recording the calls, both the audio and the fact that a call was placed to a specific number (forwarded by CallRail to our main number). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is not necessarily beneficial for a small business that does not receive a relatively high number of phone calls, i.e., a small business where no receptionist (virtual or otherwise) is necessary, as employees with other job functions also answer the phone. The only thing I can think of is that it's a little difficult to estimate how many minutes we are going to use. We use call rail for our HVAC clients and businesses.
