We use Calendly for various purposes in our organization. The primary purpose is to book product demos on our sales team calendars, but we also use it to book onboarding appointments for current customers, to schedule interviews during the hiring process, and to schedule meetings with vendors and third parties.
I've used Calendly with Salesforce for demo bookings for many years and their new Routing for Salesforce feature is amazing. Now when someone goes to book a demo, we can route them to customer success if they are already a customer, and if they are a lead, Calendly will check to see who the assigned owner is in Salesforce and populate that person's calendar for booking. If there is no owner, we round-robin the appointments among our sales team. This ensures that people always get to the right team and the right person which has saved us a ton of time and made the process super smooth for our customers and prospects. Honestly, nothing. The one issue I used to have with Calendly was that it couldn't find a lead/account owner in Salesforce but it does that now!
The one thing that would make it even better would be the option to automatically CC another team member on event invitations. That would help out our sales process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have been using Calendly for over a year and it is really very user friendly. The best part is that it has some automatic features like sending automated emails to all the appointment bookings, sending an email for requesting additional information and also sending reminders. Calendly charges per user so even if I want to add my EA to manage my calendar it will charge me for that user. They should work on their costings to make it more accessible to general public. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Calendly being the pioneer to think out of the box for us about scheduling meetings across different time zones and at the same time it is based on the event owners and the invitees availability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't think there is anything one should ever say that they don't like about it, but people are using other platforms as well, so may be the pricing is a something they are caring about. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It was simple to set up but has limited features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's a good thing I wasn't in a hurry with this issue because it took almost a week to hear back. I had to follow up with an email before I even received a response. My issue was not resolved. I never received the email that she sent apparently twice so that I could change my billing information. I did check my spam folder several times. I don't think it's the agent, she was polite when I did receive her emails. Honestly, I think it's Calendly's system. Are you guys understaffed? Your software should just give me the option to change my own billing information like literally every other software I use. I can log in and click update billing and I have access to all my own information. Making a user email support, wait god knows how long, follow up, wait for an email, and then still not receive it and not be able to change their payment information is RIDICULOUS. I used Calendly as my client booking system. If my payment method hadn't gone through in time and I would have lost service, that impacts my business. That's not ok with me. This is why I've gone with another calendar service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I absolutely love using Calendly! This scheduling tool has transformed the way I manage my appointments, and I can't recommend it enough.
One of the standout features of Calendly is its sleek and professional design. The interface is visually appealing, making it a joy to navigate. Everything is laid out intuitively, which means I can easily find what I need without any hassle.
Customization options are another highlight. I can tailor my scheduling pages to reflect my brand, ensuring that my clients have a seamless experience that feels personal and professional. The add on makes customizations even easier. I highly recommend the add on!
Moreover, the customer service chat is exceptional. Whenever I have questions or need assistance, the support team is prompt and helpful, providing me with the guidance I need in real-time. This level of service really sets Calendly apart from other scheduling tools I've used.
Overall, Calendly has made scheduling not only easier but also more enjoyable. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to streamline their appointment-setting process! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have not found any features that I dislike about Calendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Calendly has proven to be an invaluable tool for streamlining my scheduling process. Its user-friendly interface allows me to effortlessly share a booking link with prospects, enabling them to select a time that aligns with my availability. This eliminates the tedious back-and-forth of traditional scheduling, creating a frictionless experience.
I particularly appreciate Calendly's seamless integration with my preferred video conferencing platform. By automating the generation and distribution of meeting links, I can save valuable time and focus on preparing for the meeting itself.
The system's ease of setup and quick adaptability to my specific needs were impressive. I was up and running in no time, and I'm consistently delighted to see new meetings scheduled on my calendar.
Overall, Calendly has significantly enhanced my scheduling efficiency and productivity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I can't think of anything that I dislike about Calendly at this point. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love that it offers easy communication between me and my customers as well as creating an easy process for them to schedule meetings with me that fit their schedule. It's so convenient to be able to pre-set my appointments and it's a great way to collect the information about the project and customer before the meeting. I also love that it syncs with my calendar and that customers can easily contact me and alter appointments if needed. It's really been a game changer in how I schedule meetings.
I use this app pretty much daily. It was relatively easy for me to set up. I did have to tinker around a little bit to get my appointment times set the way I wanted. I also have a variable schedule, so that made it a little bit more difficult, but overall, it was easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One downside I've come across is that I can't connect both emails that I use to the account unless I pay for a subscription. I also think the emails it sends to confirm meetings are lengthy and confusing. The formatting could be better and more concise. One of the big things is creating systems and formatting that are easier for some of the elderly customers I have to be able to use this program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I had been using the built-in CRM scheduling software that came with my other tools for free, and I thought it was good enough—until it wasn’t. Despite my best efforts, I couldn’t prevent the software from double-booking events. The breaking point came when it scheduled two very important client meetings right on top of each other. That’s when I realized I needed a more reliable solution and decided to give Calendly a try.
Now, I only wish I had switched sooner. Calendly works flawlessly and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I love the ability to set specific events and time block my schedule, making my day much more organized and stress-free. I’m definitely a fan. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
To truly optimize Calendly, I believe new users should take the time to explore and experiment with all the settings. Getting comfortable with the platform’s features is key to making the most of it. One improvement I’d love to see is the ability to link events together. For example, I have a service that requires two meetings, and it would be fantastic if clients could select both in a seamless, connected flow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love Calendly because it is extremely user-friendly and can be used easily on mobile devices as well as desktops. There is no sign-in/account creation required for those who you invite to sign up for calendar times, which makes it extremely easy to use for large groups. It can be such a hassle for people to create accounts just to sign up for something, so it is refreshing to be able to avoid that with Calendly.
Creating events is quick and easy, plus you can use previous events as "templates" which makes it easy if you use this often. I would say that Calendly is something I will return to and use often, as it has so many different applications.
The option to have e-mail and/or text reminders for events is also very useful as someone who has a busy schedule. Typically, services like this feel like a hassle to encorporate into your routine, but Calendly is much easier to integrate into the systems I already use for scheduling. It can create events for me and pull my availability from outside calendars, which is a huge help and time saver.
It was easy to get started and did not feel like an overwhelming thing to learn, as everything is pretty intuitive. Being able to customize what the scheduling page looks like is also a huge benefit, as gathering information from event participants is so much easier this way using the custom questions. There is not much I have to say as far as dislikes with Calendly. I do not use every aspect of the product, so there may be undesirable things that I have not used yet. The one thing I struggled with at first was creating very specific times for scheduling, as in date-specific, one-time scheduling availability. Not because the feature was missing, just because it was a bit difficult for me to use at first. Now though, I feel comfortable using it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's very easy to use and I no longer have to think about my schedule, it automatically updates my calendar with the new events.
All I have to do is create my availability (once) and share the link with my clients.
It has really taken a load from my shoulders Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would like to be able to add breaks in between meetings somehow as sometimes my clients book back to back and then I'm stuck with 3-4h in a row 😂 but it's not the end of the world Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have used Calendly every day for 5+ years. It is one of the most user-friendly solutions I have ever implemented, runs like clockwork, anticipates all your needs, and since its free tier gives you access to basically everything without a countdown trial, I know it inside out and it is now one of the first purchases I recommend as a consultant for mid-size companies. I frequently meet with extremely busy engineers, and I don't have to chase them down anymore—they pick a time, I prepare for my meeting, they show up. The Calendly product team have done an amazing job at anticipating user needs and creating a truly seamless workflow, I have literally never had any issues with it. If and when I ever talk to anyone on the support team it will be to deliver them gift baskets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This is only an issue for non English speakers—the localization of the app is unnatural at times and can make the solution a little difficult to grasp, but nothing that can't be solved with a bit of back and forth, nd since the app is exceptionally smooth-running it takes no time.
Could probably do without the header image too, or with a more robust solution with options (i.e. circle cropping). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
