Luke is always super quick to respond despite our business hours (AEST) being the complete opposite as his, same as the support team when I submit a ticket. Since Covid, a lot of support across many companies has turned to automation, which has caused a lot of issues, and I find more often than not I just get linked to a support article when reaching out for help, not so with Cake. That you can manage affiliate traffic as well as leads in one system. The system handle pixels fairly well for the most part. Support is pretty good, especially working with Aldo or Eric. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Trying to get custom features built out is like pulling teeth. Something as simple as firing postback url pixels on http posted leads is impossible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Upside:

- User experience is very intuitive & friendly

- We went from being told "no" to being told "let's see how we can do this together". This has helped the relationship as it allows growth between the companies

- Security Settings/Updates: CAKE is one of the few platforms we have had minimal issues with meeting audit security needs

- Integrations with other companies like Forensiq & Optizmo to help optimize our traffic vs having to find additional platforms to use daily

- Having an awesome staff! Have a great Account Manager & Support staff who focus on making sure the platform operates with the needs of the company and are always available to help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Downside:

- Reporting, we would like the ability to extract variations of the data over timeframes easier vs extracting one day at a time or having to do partner by partner. It would be great to have an overall master report where you can select the data you want to present - and run.

- API's, being able to pull without impacting the system, CAKE is working on this currently and will be resolved in Q1 2021

- Lite clicks, The excessive subid's alert doesn't function properly with this and flags partners inaccurately which causes issues with scaling partners & maintaining relationships. Not being able to quickly view the data has proven to be an issue with partners where we have discrepancies.

Dependable, excellent customer service, massive features and technology. As our company has grown so has it's need for a variety of technology--from complex tracking to high-level management. Over the years it never ceases to amaze me that when we hit a new milestone and discover a new 'need', Cake has had that ability or feature the entire time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The interface itself is a little dated, but they are currently updating all of that. The tech behind the scenes is robust and provides all the features we have needed for over a decade. There is a wide variety of things that Cake can do, and we haven't even used half of them. It's somewhat expensive, but if you want a solid solution that is never going anywhere, that has everything you'll need so that you never have to migrate in the future...it's a great solution if you can afford it. 1. The helpdesk is always available for any questions. They even have emergency staff outside of business hours. Each account has their own account manager if needed as well. Set-up was easily done by uploading massive historical reports.

2. The direct integration of 3rd party products has been especially useful in the past.

3. The reporting is real-time and the dashboard loads quickly.

4. There used to be an app that didn't cover everything, but now the website is fairly mobile responsive and allows all access.

5. The tracking reports are very detailed. There are many ways to drill down on the information and there are options to customize reports based on groupings. If the dashboard can't show the breakdown, then it's always possible to just export and do a pivot table.

6. Pixel security that prevents against fraud is very important and they go a long way in making sure they have this covered.

7. Affiliates can receive their materials along with a restrictions list directly from the system with a press of a button.

8. The system can organize subID payouts automatically by using Directed Non-Original links.

9. Notices to all partners can be sent with various templates that can be customized.

10. Advertisers and Partners have access to an API of the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

1. The API that checks partners for suppression file downloads isn't easy to navigate based on a client with multiple offers.

2. The idea portal is a long process and it's rare that submissions get picked-up for implementation.

3. The alerts are a great idea, but there could be more options to make them more intelligent.

4. Searching for words in the platform has to be exact or else the results won't appear.

5. The Advertiser API doesn't offer an option for the s1= variable.

6. The list of available subID payouts in the affiliate view dashboard isn't viewable.

7. There isn't a copy feature for partner or offer set-ups.

8. Currently no day-parting options, but they are working to improve.

9. Extra costs such as Event tracking or additional clicks.

The customer support from Luke and the simplicity of your system although it has its quirks

and nuances that take some time to learn. Working with Luke has been what I've liked best as he is on it and replies quickly when we reach out for help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

A few things like existing accounts not being able to see their prepaid balances on their side once logged in. How can an existing account know where they stand without knowing their balance? Doesn't make since for the buyers to be flying blind like this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The user interface is not as customizable as I'd like. The windows are not very responsive to screen size making it difficult to go from large monitor to laptop screen. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
