I use it daily and have really enjoyed the experience. It's quite user-friendly for both as the brand and for customers who may not be as technology savvy. The fact that you can download multiple file types it useful. And the multiple sharing options - where it's with a link, creating a collection or sharing in email. The filtering helps to find the right assets as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not necessarily a downside by an opportunity to implement AI into the platform to help with the search functionality. So if people don't know exactly what filters to apply but can describe what they're looking for, that would be a great addition. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's really really easy to use.
Even tho we don't know much about it yet on the many things that can be done with it, it's really easy to use. We are definitely looking forward to see when it's gonna be integrated with the CMS as well. But overall it's a very good tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In my opinion what is missing is a better shaped workflow for related assets.
We produce videos in differente languages and versions: it could be English, French, German, Italian and so on with vertical and horizontal versions as well. It would be nice to have a way to have one assets that could be the clean version of the video and then like related assets but better shaped the rest of the material. So you open one file and you can immediately review all the different assets.
Another thing that wuold be idea for us is to implement a good way to attach legal documents to the assets. We work with people and consents, so a proper way to link this two things. (A photo\video and their consent form) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Bynder is a phenomenal Digital Asset Manager. Its functions and features have met and exceeded all my expectations for a DAM, but more than the product itself, the true highlight has been the staff and community supporting it. Matthew Smith was a great Account Executive—always well-prepared, informed, and dedicated to answering all our questions, which gave us full confidence in the product and brand. Francine Rodriguez was a phenomenal Onboarding Manager. I cannot express how impressed I was with her knowledge, ability, and dedication to ensuring our success. She knew how to balance educating and prompting action with such grace. I have never had a customer support experience come close to what I experienced with her—she is truly the best! I’ve encountered a few hangups, such as issues with refreshing changes on the homepage, delays in thumbnail appearances while uploading, and some features that aren’t the most intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do I like best about Bynder? The people, by far! Bynder's customer service sets a bar for all others to reach. Questions and issues are addressed promptly and all of the amazing staff are kind, patient, helpful, and courteous. Bynder is more than a system, it's a team of people invested in your success, demonstrated by outstanding customer service via email or through your CSM. Bynder extends its community outside itself, hosting and leading a diverse and active community of users and platform dedicated to sharing information for best practices. So many answers and ideas are found in the community!
The system is full of first class features and functionality, and integrates with other systems easily either by its sophisticated API or prebuilt integrations from the Integrations Hub. The DAM is easy to use and Bynder makes good use of tool tips throughout the system adding clarity when needed. Bynder focuses on steady growth and development as well, and you can expect new features, functionality, and improvements with every product release. The company does listen to its customers, and I've seen many enhancement requests come to fruition!
Overall the company is a trustworthy partner. The people are fantastic and the tool does its job very well. 10/10 I'd choose Bynder again! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The taxonomy interface is not the best. There's a ton of wasted white space, making the actual work area very small and difficult to use. It's easy to set up, but a total drag to update because of the teeny work panel on the right side of the screen, especially Configurations. We have over 2700 terms in our taxonomy representing six unique child taxonomies, and managing all the configurations in those three inches of web browser is some of the most painful work I have to do. The best for us is the ease of use, Bynder is very intuitive. The tagging and absence of folder strucutre makes everything much easier for us. Also the integration to our ERP system thru API is a huge help for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It has been a year since we have started with Bynder. We are still very satisfied with it. There is always a solution for our need. We had a little problem with the support, where we expeted bigger help, but once we claimed it to the Bynder team it improved.
Regarding the DAM itself, it still covers all our needs and is super helpful for our company. It feels like we could not live without it anymore as we use it really every day;) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

From my sales associate, Nikki, to my primary "trainer," Rachel, Bynder made sure we were set up for success. The software itself is intuitive and literally grows its usefulness as everyone becomes more familiar. We presented a revision in our contractual agreement, and the legal team at Bynder was responsive, never dismissive, and willing to work with us on addressing our concerns. The price is fair, the support is prompt, and the organization has clearly embraced positive employee relations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'm still relying on my sales trainer, more than technical support. Though prompt, tech support in our situation appears to have limited difficulty in understanding our minor issues. I'm confident that moving forward, once WE have a better understanding the platform, this situation will resolve itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

User-friendly interface that is intuitive to use.
Easy set-up, apart from the integration of legacy assets (migration), the tool takes very little time to set up and start using. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The lack of a folder structure, though the search feature is very robust, it is not robust enough yet to accomodate a large-scale database with 500 000 + assets. Searching and selecting files should allow for more complex search queries (combining AND OR NOT natively in the metaproperties structure and not just by using the code in the search bar)
More flexibility in the data model, it is for example not possible to create a boolean field. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

• collections are a great on sharing assets for outside and internal people, saves on trying to attach assets in an email
• works like dropbox when sharing a collection with vendors -- PDF under additional files is a ZIP file (with orginal doc/font/artwork)
• working towards having the site to be the single source of truth
• now with AI of Show Similar it does help narrow the search
• saves time on requests, when my team has access to the assets and then are able to find them with common tags we share
• when making a file public and sharing the link it is great to followup to see the analytics of how many have viewed the file
• there is an ease of uploading assets, the challenge is to get all uploaders to tag assets
• appreciate the feature of "related assets" -- this is super helpful when you want assets to group together Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
• Not all employees are on the same page when tagging assets on the upload, which can make it a challenge to find something.
• pinpointing a specific asset at times can be a challenge
• it would be great upon upload if the asset would be flagged as a duplicate before upload just to be sure the question would be asked if this is a new asset to replace the old Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The fact that it integrates with the design software (photoshop) that my team is already using is extremely easy for us to navigate. The training and implementation from the Bynder team to get us up and running was super easy and helpful. Support team is always fast and typically replies with a definitive answer. We've completed over 330 Bynder projects so our teams are using Bynder daily. It's been a great way for our creative team to stay creative and our other teams to do whatever they do. Downsides can be training and overall understanding for new users. Making Bynder training videos that can easily be found would be a great way to resolve this problem.
Some organization features of collections and templates could be improved, and then some studio features could be improved as well. Dual approvals would be nice or group approvals as well. But Bynder seems to be growing quickly and adding new features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The first positive impressions began at the sales stage with the patience and demonstration skills provided by Kevin Penhouet who ensured Bynder could meet all our tool requirements and license needs within budget. We took our time and got it right!
Bynder meets all our expectations and right from the first moment of logging in you enjoy an extremely user-friendly experience with ease of navigation. Bynder DAM, along with Brand Guidelines and Workflow modules are a game changer for our global business as it allows all our users (over 4k) to have access at their fingertips to visual assets and documents they require on a daily basis. It creates a much more efficient way of working and encourages sharing and collaboration between our Business Units. It also requires minimum daily administration once the Taxonomy discipline is set up along with and all user access levels. Just as we wanted, the onboarding process was thorough and detailed to meet our complex needs. We are very grateful to the skills of Jade Rubio and Bjorn Burger for their expertise and for creating an enjoyable on-boarding learning process, answering all our questions and always providing solutions for all our requests. Now that we have launched, our internal and external users are positive about all the DAM features such as Sharing collections, Bynder Express and Workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
All is very positive - it is such a user-friendly sytem that it is difficult to identify dislikes. The Knowledge Bank, Bynder Seminars along with the Bynder community make it easy to self-learn and quickly find your own solutions during the learning process. These facilities help build up confidence to administrate the site once the on-boarding period ends. We are currently in the process of connecting Optimizely, Wordpress and Sharepoint so at time of writing I cannot review this part of our Bynder Ecosytem intergration - hopefully they all connect smoothly.
