**What do you like best about Frontify?**

I like that Frontify provides one single source of truth for all things related to our global brand. It really helps with brand consistency and efficiency, saving time and enhancing internal brand reach. I appreciate how they stay up-to-date with the needs of their clients through aggressive development of new features. The support I get is excellent across all ends, be it joint marketing, customer success management, or online support. It's very straightforward to set up, especially since we had time to prepare during the procurement process. This helps our brand team stay at the forefront and serve the organization effectively. I find it very likely that I would recommend Frontify, as I've even done check-ins with potential clients.

**What do you dislike about Frontify?**

The same as for all third-party platforms, some kind of information has to be hosted internally. This goes for many global companies.

It has enabled us (Skyscanner) to manage our brand world, and keep it up to date, especially across all markets.

The only issue I found was the visual layout of frontify was a bit limiting, and could do with some refinement

Before frontify, our brand world was spawning and lived across multiple PDFS. This was far from ideal. Since moving to frontify, it has been a game changer. We have everything we need in one place, and constantly up to date as we flex and push the brand world.

**What do you like best about Frontify?**

At BSI, we use Frontify as our central platform for managing Brand and Marketing assets. I love how easy it is to find, share, and use brand approved assets across different projects. The visual interface is clean with accessible guidelines and editable formats. It really helps in storing and organising logos, templates, images, and brand guidelines in one easy to access space.

**What do you dislike about Frontify?**

As our assets library grow, finding specific assets can take longer than expected. Better search filters and metadata options would make that easier. User roles could also be more granular for managing access and editing rights.

**What problems is Frontify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Frontify solves the problem of scattered, inconsistent branding by simplifying and giving us a single source of truth. It ensures that everyone from internal and external teams are aligned on visuals, messaging, formats and usage. This saves time, improves brand consistency and ultimately strengthens how we present BSI across channels.

**What do you like best about Frontify?**

The Frontify Guidelines set the industry standard for brand portals in terms of front-facing consumer view and user experience. They're highly customizable and they're constantly coming up with new features.

**What do you dislike about Frontify?**

The split between front-end and back-end is confusing for users. Adding users is difficult since you have to add them on the individual library/project/guideline level and not just an overall invitation. Creating groups helps with this issue, but it's still a bit of a workaround. The only way to implement targets for better security is on the front-end, which is nice, but that feature doesn't exist for the back-end, namely in Projects. I'd like the option to add targets or a feature that allows me to hide assets from certain or all users invited to a Project.

**What problems is Frontify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our organization needed to have a one source of truth platform to help solve where we keep our assets, how they're stored, and creating guidelines to help internal and external users.

  ### 9. Great for Brands, Not a Canva Replacement

**What do you like best about Frontify?**

Frontify offers a great platform to organize a brand guideline system, that can be frequently updated and added to. Everyone who views it will be able to see the most up to date version of our brand guidelines, rather than keeping an outdated PDF guide. The templates feature does provide a significant level of control, keeping our visuals quite locked down so nobody can create off-brand items.

**What do you dislike about Frontify?**

Frontify is not a replacement for Canva, like we were led to believe. Many of the ease-of-use features in Canva are not present in the template editor on Frontify. For example, I cannot edit the size of a text box on a template within the editor, I must re-upload the entire template to do that. I cannot add additional typefaces to a template without using a significant workaround sequence. The interface is clunky and slow. I would not recommend switching away from Canva unless you are using only a small amount of templates.
In addition, though we are a large account, our feature requests and bug submissions are rarely addressed in a timely manner. Despite talking directly to our account representatives it's like our issues just go into a black hole and we never hear about them again.

**What problems is Frontify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Frontify helps organize our brand guidelines, templates, and assets into one easy to find location. It can be quickly edited and updated with new assets or guidelines and everyone will see the updates when they refresh, unlike the old PDF version of our guidelines. This benefits us by creating an easier environment to police our brand, keep things consistent, and provide digital assets to many users (like powerpoint templates, PDF layouts, and design request forms). Be careful though, if you are editing a page and delete something important there is NO UNDO BUTTON.

Frontify is a great tool for having all our brand assets in one place. It's great at organizing and creating cohesive tool kits for certain marketing activities and our rep is super helpful and gives us all of the updates we need. It's very easy to use, intuitive and clean. love the features like tagging/being able to edit metadata and the uplaoding process is great and makes sense

**What do you dislike about Frontify?**

there are a few issues we have found, there are new parts of frontify being added all the time so sometimes existing ways of working become broken because of that and we have to figure out a different way of doing this. The customixe/template feature sometimes has issues and we have run into several complaints from people that say that things occasionaly stop working.

**What do you like best about Frontify?**

Frontify is easily the best and most consistent data asset management platform that we've used here at AEG to date. It was very easy to implement for our team once we familiarized ourselves with the platform, and it's been very easy to integrate our assets as needed. We love the ability to use metadata and tags as well as its ability to restrict access to specific folders for certain users in our company. It's been easy to find our assets from the search and we use it on a daily basis at this point!

**What do you dislike about Frontify?**

Initially, it was definitely a learning curve to learn how to properly use and set up the platform for our team, but once we got the hang of it, it's been easy to maintain since. One con is that there isn't always a preview for certain file types (such as .pptx), but I know updates are to come!

**What problems is Frontify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Unlike previous DAMs we've tried, Frontify's ability to restrict certain groups/users' access to certain folders and files is the most beneficial feature for our team, as well as how easy the search feature is once you've updated metadata and tags accordingly.

I use frontify on a Daily basis as a content creator and, having a one stop shop for all assets it probably the best thing about this tool. Absolute time saver, It's super easy to search and navigate, friendly interface which makes it simple for anyone to use even if you're not a creator. I've had a few questions at some point and the customer support was super fast no responding me aswell as fast to help me providing a solution.

Our success CSM very helpful with the onboarding process, but the learning curve for the platform can be a little steep, especially for creatives who do not have an asset management background. When questions or issues arise, we've been able to use Frontify's chat service to effectively resolve our issues.

The business case it valuable - being able to manage and distribute brand assets. As a one source of truth, it is an important tool for keeping brand consistency.

The user experience and the page builder in general is horrible.

For instance, font-sizes in the menu and the logo size is not set globally - you actually have to set it for each page. Imaging the amount of time it takes to update a menu for multiple pages.

Sharing the right files with the right people. In a M365 environment putting files in the hands of the right people is hard. Epsecially out side the organisation. Using something like Frontify is a great tool for Marketing teams.

Frontify is an excellent platform for consolidating all our brand assets in one central location. It makes organising and assembling comprehensive toolkits for various marketing campaigns easy. Our account manager is fantastic—always providing timely updates and offering great support. The interface is user-friendly, intuitive, and streamlined. We really appreciate the smooth, straightforward uploading process.

We had some minor issues with our self serve assets but Frontify have been very good working with us to rectify those.

Frontify is serving as our own stop shop Brand hub and resource centre. Onboarding has never been easier. It really takes the stress of our designers to provide common assets to stakeholders for the 50th time and onoarding contractors is a breeze.

Easy to use, drag and drop, makes it easy to organize assets, can share amongst multiple designers to work on.

**What do you dislike about Frontify?**

Not as customizable as I would like. More intuitive for non-web of PC designers. A lot of the interface seems geared to designers who are comfortable or have some developers knowledge. It would be nice if it was more intuitive for designers who live in Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop programs. Can be glitchy sometimes and need to find workarounds to get the site to work the way I want. A better way to export would be ideal, this should eliminate the need to design in another program but have seen exchanges related to the need for a shareable PDF guideline creation as this isn't really an option in Frontify. I know you can export a PDF but it's not very professional looking. No easy way to share without publishing or a log-in, say when needing to share with a client or for internal review during creation, this could also be the need for a better way to export.

Saves some Trees. Is in a format that is mostly easily shared, not as easy as a PDF.

With Frontify we were able to create brand guidelines (design and identity) and asset manangement for our various brands, so we can make sure our world wide subsidiaries and agencies that work for us can comply with our brands CI, all this in a live platform that can easily evolved and be updated.

**What do you like best about Frontify?**

As a Senior Brand Manager, I have been using Frontify for almost a year now. It has significantly streamlined our brand management processes and has truly been a game-changer.

Everyone in the company, from in-house designers to the average user, has been using and is impressed by the platform. The Frontify Desktop App, in particular, has been a game-changer for our designers, enhancing their productivity and workflow.

It's hard to imagine how we managed our day-to-day brand activities before Frontify. The platform has made such a positive impact on our efficiency and consistency.

Also, the customer support is exceptional, always ready to answer questions and solve problems, regardless of complexity. Their dedication to customer satisfaction is evident and greatly appreciated.

The back-end can be somewhat complex, and there is a steep learning curve initially. However, the Frontify team consistently takes client feedback seriously and makes continuous improvements to enhance user experience dealing with the back-end.

What I like most about Frontify is the flexibility of the building blocks. They make it easy to quickly build and adapt content on the fly. Thanks to this, we were able to launch our brand page in no time and continue refining it step by step, making it a truly agile process. Additionally, the support is outstanding. Whether through the chat function on the platform or our dedicated support contact, responses are always fast and solutions are provided quickly.

**What do you dislike about Frontify?**

The UI/UX could use some refinement. At times, it takes too many clicks to complete simple tasks, particularly when using the template function. This can be frustrating and time-consuming, both for us and our end users. Additionally, user management is a bit confusing. There are multiple ways to invite users to the guidelines, but not all options offer the same functionality, such as setting time-limited access.

**What problems is Frontify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

After our recent rebranding, we needed an efficient way to make the new brand accessible to employees, markets, and partners. Frontify has been the perfect solution for this.
Furthermore, the template function allows our teams to create their own marketing materials, which has significantly reduced the workload for our headquarters' design team. It also empowers employees and markets to tailor content to their specific needs while ensuring everything stays on-brand and consistent.

Its great to have everything in one place and searchable. None of this emailing back and forth trying to find the latest copy of the guidelines or assets, it is a single source of truth.

The support team are alsways quick to respond and take an indepth look at your problem and will pass on feedback to developers.

Sometimes the integration into other systems is clunky and you can be limited in what you can do on your brand guideline pages.

A big one for our business too that templates do not support tables or overflow text, that has really hindered our use of templates unfortuantly.

Im not in the conversation but the tables and overflow text support on templates is a huge set back for our business. i beleive there are talks of solving this.

Since we work a lot with templates, I would appreciate if the design process was more user-friendly.

I have had excellent support since working with Frontify. There were a few things I couldn't access at the beginning of my journey and I was told to check with support. Thanks to Frontify, we were able to empower all our employees to feel a sense of ownership of the brand. They can now bring our brand to life by easily finding, using, and modularly combining all our brand assets at any time. This accelerates their life and also helps us a brand team to focus on scaling and evolving the brand per se.

Additionally I can only say that the customer support team has always helped us when there was any question or amendment need - this is a trait that I don't take for granted.

For us some of the collaboration features are not necessary, as we don't have a need. But this is not a dislike, just not a need for us at this very moment :-)

Frontify is a very easy-to-use and intuitive interface. Assets and saving the files are very easy. Navigation Manager is one of the unique features of all the available tools that I have explored till now. Collaboration with the team is easy to invite and add.

I was overwhelmed by the support of files, code blocks, icons etc in any format. That allowed me to save some code snippets I regularly use for my website. I also liked the mobile app and easily access the files.

**What do you dislike about Frontify?**

Frontify UI is sometimes confusing especially when adding files. Also, the file hosting feature or getting a shareable link is not available. Good documentation is also appreciable for getting started people since a lot of features get unexplored until get across it accidentally.

An individual shareable link is the most required thing for people who are not team members.
Also, the file renaming feature is required sometimes. I renamed the files in the portal but when downloading, it remains the same.

Frontify allowed a single system to put all assets and access them anytime and anywhere. Also having a mobile app is also required which makes is full-fledged application for business.

**What do you like best about Frontify?**

The user experience is clean and the support desk is very helpful, especially when working in the back end with the templates. We have had lots of good feedback regarding the ease of finding information about the brand, and are excited to explore what more we can do on the platform.

My favourite thing is how intuitive it is and how much time it has cut from my workload due to the automation of assets (socials in particular) that sales can now create for themselves.

I have also participated in a few workshops with Fronitify's design team and I look forward to the roll out of their new implementations in the templates, which should make it easier to edit and unlock different parts of the templates - something that is very much needed when working with lots of pages within the templates.

**What do you dislike about Frontify?**

There are a lot of elements missing from Adobe Indesign that I believe have practical applications in the templates - such as being able to delete or duplicate a slide - I think Canva have elements of this that work well for online use for someone who isn't familiar with art working. For instance, line and leading weight - being able to change this to specific circumstances would be helpful. Also, the design aspect of the look and feel of the front end is something that would ideally be explored further - having a single page a different colour to the central theme, for instance - or even different compositional layouts to choose from - kind of like what Squarespace and Wix offer in their subscription service.

Additionally, uploading images as a user from the front end could be made more accessible - going to a separate window to crop the image without any other elements from the template design makes it challenging to position the image if it is under copy as you are unable to preview what changes you are making.

**What problems is Frontify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have sent messages to the Frontify product team regarding feature requests for the templates. We have made indesign packages for each file type that we use as a business day to day. This has involved creating numerous pages for the same template due to the different line lengths that are needed depending on the size of copy the user uses for the template. I believe that by adding a duplicate and rearranging feature, the templates that our users would be working on could be combined together as one.

This is particularly important for carousel ads and decks, which is how we came to realise that we needed this feature. Carousel ads must be exported as one multiple page pdf. Hence, the duplicate and rearrange feature are important as users need to be able to duplicate a page if there is the same line length, and rearrange the pages according to the order of the copy.
This request for these two features would also be a benefit to the rest of our current templates (as it would unite multiple templates into one template) but also is a feature that will be needed for future use of the FT's brand portal. We plan to start uploading deck templates, print ads and more, which would also benefit from these features.
I envision it working in a similar way to indesign pages - where you can grab the page with your mouse and move it to decide its order in the template. Additionally, right-click & "duplicate spread" is also a feature familiar to indesign that I envision working the same way for Frontify."

In order to utilize the Analytics, all users must be logged in. We need our guide to be public because we have too many users to manage, but then loose out on knowing how often it is used and by who.

Being able to send one link vs. locate and send assets to requestors over and over is a huge time-saver. The self serve tools are amazing and the UI is easy to understand and mostly intuitive. I feel so accomplished when I create something with the template - it's fun and really quite professional looking. I enjoy the asset management as well.

Customer support is readily available - which I appreciate - they cannot always solve the issue but at least it's quite responsive and they always follow up.

**What do you dislike about Frontify?**

I am often troubled by the odd glitches I run into regularly. I have to create my template in Safari even though I am a Chrome user because the template is not usable/viewable at all in Chrome and the help desk cannot figure out why this is happening to me. At least I've got a workaround -but it is a bit frustrating. 

I also find the templates to be sensitive and I'm frequently having to refresh my screen when I toggle between edit and view.

My personal projects are a mess - i would like to be able to create folders here

The asset management is good but the search filters don't always work and the tagging isn't very functional

**What problems is Frontify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can now create beautiful social post using a template -  for our design 'challenged' partners. We have a zillion assets in the DAM (localized into many different languages) and now thank GOD we don't have to weed through Box to find what we want. Also love that we can archive/hide assets that are no longer of use when we make a change. Everything is all in one place now - photography, logos, templates etc

**What do you like best about Frontify?**

Frontify is great for gathering information and brand assets. I appreciate how I can concentrate all brand materials and guidelines in a single place and check it easily as well. Plus it allows to work with multiple brands. Another upside of using Frontify is that it gave my team/ company the possibility to have it for other use cases as well, like a mediabank for public sharing as well as career page

**What do you dislike about Frontify?**

The backend use can be a bit ocnfusing. I haven't still mastered getting all of my backend files and folders optmised. That gets even more complicated with having multiple guidelines for the same brand, for example in my case multiple we have different guideline contents for the same brand in different countries

**What problems is Frontify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is easy to keep the content and brand guidelines up to date. Also it serves as a home for our media bank (aka images and other content, such as logos and press releases) for outside sharing. The most innovative way I founf to use frontify its making it into our career page, which is connected with an external HR platform.

**What do you like best about Frontify?**

Range of powerful features; successful combination of visual guidelines and DAM; variety and types of content the platform can handle with ease; general ease of WYSIWYG editor when creating and editing content; responsive and helpful support team.

**What do you dislike about Frontify?**

Substantial price increases / tier changes (although, to be fair to Frontify, they have honored our legacy pricing and plans—ie. we've not yet been kicked out for not upgrading!). Interface and setup of features, user management etc can be fiddly, difficult to follow / understand, and not always intuitive.

**What problems is Frontify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives us a centralized, objective, easily updated, one-stop shop for all our international staff to understand our brand (its DNA, as well as our vsiaul and verbal identity),  to be inspired by it (through explanation and examples), and to freely access the resources they need to champion it in their day-to-day work (via the asset libraries).

**What do you like best about Frontify?**

Frontify plays an important role in the day to day running of our brand implementation and asset management.

We use Frontify for two distinct purposes, firstly it is our brand guidelines – we implemented the brand portal at a time when we refreshed our brand, so it has been vital our users can access a reliable and well designed single source of all things brand and house style. It has delivered this successfully, thanks to its endless customisation, clear layout and the ability to be easily updated on the fly by admin users.

Secondly Frontify is our asset library. After lots of help from the Frontify team we have been able to create a simple way to organise our large library of not-so-simple asset types. This provides clarity for our users.

Equally important, our Customer Success Manager Jo is an absolute wonder to work with – always super helpful, really friendly, knowledgeable and reliable :-)

**What do you dislike about Frontify?**

I found it quite a big learning curve when migrating to Frontify, and understanding the front-end/back-end set-up was quite different compared to our previous DAM. However most things that amount to any dislikes about Frontify are mainly small things that can create little niggles for our user journeys.

For example, it is not possible to crop an image at a specific size (i.e. web banner) and choose the exact crop area. This means that images are output from Fronitfy with crops that may miss parts of the image we wanted. To remedy we have had to direct users to a third party website to resize their assets for the crops they need, which is not really ideal.

**What problems is Frontify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Frontify is helping us to implement our refreshed brand in a clear, concise and structured manner. We have multiple pages pertaining to different areas within our brand, each with lots of different media and content. The ability for admin users to easily update pages and hyperlink to different parts of the library on the fly is extremely useful and time efficient.

Managing your brand guidelines is made super easy, takes very little time to train anyone to update, add content and to manage brand assets.

Love the user management as well, great control and view on who gets to see/edit/manage specific areas of our brand content.

**What do you dislike about Frontify?**

It hasn't always been the most intuitive interface, but it is getting better with time, and there is a world of difference between what we had when we started using Frontify back in 2015, and today.

**What problems is Frontify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Frontify solves a few problems in a very easy way for us: 

- our single sign on integration allows any of our employees to access brand content, without having to send out invites
- collaborating on content is made super easy
- Getty sync helps us bring ALL our assets in one place and eliminate the need for granting access to our getty account to too many people
- managing multiple brands, on the same platform means our brand teams can help each other as editing skills are shared
- user management is made easy

**What do you like best about Frontify?**

Frontify helps me get design processes up to my company's speed — without selling the soul to the devil when you are the only designer in the company.

Super easy setup. From automatic color swatches and drag-and-drop assets uploading to interactive icon libraries and intuitive formatting — it took me just a couple of hours to have a whole branding portal ready for my team and all the basics uploaded. Still updating and adding new materials, of course, as we grow and so do our needs, but the flexibility of Frontify platform makes it go smooth like butter.

Usage and adoption is just awesome, too. My team now has a single source of truth for everything visual, with access to all the assets (correct and up-to-date ones, most importantly) and respective rules and guidelines explained for everything. Cuts down countless hours of dm replies, and now I have just one link for everything my team needs.

And oh I wish I had such a solution for more things in life.

**What do you dislike about Frontify?**

Didn't have any issues so far, but we only explored what feels like the tip of an iceberg of features. Sometimes it feels overwhelming to get your hands on a new part of Frontify, but I believe their support team to be there when needed.

Cuts down time on supporting my company's design needs and works as a single source of truth, making our branding more unified easily.

**What do you like best about Frontify?**

The overall site is beautiful and has been a good fit for our brand portal. There are so many things we like about the platform:
1. The ability to have different domains to allow users to download various versions of a graphic file
2. The ability to have different domains for different user experiences 
3. The editing process is very intuitive
4. The ease of adding users

**What do you dislike about Frontify?**

There were some limitations that we ran into when we were designing our site that we found workarounds for. One was the automated side navigation that is generated based on the CSS. Like many sitebuilding tools, you learn how to work with and design around the template, but it would be great to be able to have a little more flexibility in adjusting page elements.

**What problems is Frontify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides an online resource that is available to both our employees and external vendors. It has greatly improved our communications and better ensures brand adherence.

**What do you like best about Frontify?**

Frontify is incredibly easy to use for both users and administators. They've pre-made all kinds of content blocks, filters and asset management tools so creating and updating content is really quick and simple. 
One of the best things about it is the ability to share guidelines and assets with third parties and the fact you can tailor their level of access.

**What do you dislike about Frontify?**

Because everything is templated there's only so much customisation you can do in terms of design, but if the pages were more bespoke I'm sure they'd be a lot harder to create and maintain!

**What problems is Frontify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

First and foremost it allows us to house our brand guidelines and playbooks digitally meaning we can add to them, update them, share them really easily as often as we need. We also use it to house digital assets including imagery and (lots of!) logos. Having them all in one place ensures a single source of truth that's always up to date.
