As a DAM platform, Bynder provides our company with a robust and scalable system offering all of the functionality necessary for providing the workflow and guardrails to maximize the efficiency of our marketing and design departments. We scrutinized Bynder against some of the biggest names in the DAM business and found their platform stood toe-to-toe with them, with a price tag that made it possible for us to engage.
Equally as pleasing about our experience with Bynder is the team members we engaged with from initial contact, through implementation/onboarding, and with handover to our CSM. Bynder is comprised of team members possessing an expert level of product knowledge and a dedicated solutions-driven mindset, yet can make the process fun, contrary to the dull, mechanical, highly corporate, and uptight demeanor usually experienced in a software implementation environment.
The implementation process was on point, well planned and executed, and an enjoyable experience. It was essentially painless. Our team was able to use our custom company portal prior to the completion of the onboarding process. Integration was relatively easy.
Bynder is a very user-friendly, logical, and easy-to-use tool once you get over the initial intimidation when facing something new.

For our use cases, there does not appear to be a downside when fairly compared to other DAM products. Is any one single DAM platform the holy grail that as a standalone can do everything associated with creative/marketing content production? No. Bynder is a DAM, not a PM tool. However, with the product knowledge users can gain in presets and workflow, there are practical ways to work around not having a PM tool within Bynder. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Bynder presents assets in ways that are easier to sort/filter than traditional folders. The layout helps users on my team find what they need quickly. It also makes sharing assets with outside parties simple. Create collections and share a link to view or download. No more file transfers. The automatic resizing and studio features were oversold to us and are not as practical as we would hope. We wanted to be able to download specificly sized assets for different uses, but in order to have this functionality, every single assets (upon upload) would be multiplied into however many size variations we wanted. This instantly multiplied the amount of storage needed and made it no longer cost effective. The cost in general for the software is steep.
