The Onboarding Manager explained step by step what needed to be done and by when. They provided resources to review as well as worksheets to develop the confirmation of the platform for our use. The weekly meetings were productive and the "homework" assignments were not too burdensome to do. The database is robust, but quite flexible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
A little more explanation of the use-cases of metaproperties and permissions (especially those which are interrelated) may have helped in our configuration. We had to back up a couple of times and reconfigure because things didn't quite work the way we anticipated. But in all honesty, the robustness and flexibility of the library database makes it hard to get it right the first time. It was really nice that we were able to reconfigure very easily and quickly as we started to understand more of how Bynder worked. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Bynder's customer service is exceptional. The onboarding process from start to finish was thorough, well planned, detailed and interactive. It laid a foundation for a successful DAM in the future and really got the whole working group on-board. Bynder is our business-wide DAM solution that is used daily, so it's important that the integration is easy and straight-forward. The platform is easy to use, has all the features we need and passed our security and tech checks. Plus the Brand Portal is a cherry-on-top, the perfect interactive solution to house all of our brand guidelines and assets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As with all new platforms there are features we'll use and some that won't be suitable for our business needs. That's not a criticism of Bynder, its just a reality of when you buy a product off the shelf. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

How there are many ways to organize and search for specific assets. Additionally, the upload process is quite intuitive and easy to customize as well as the homepage. Collections is probably the most valuable to me and my team, specifically for sharing externally and organizing a smaller group of media files.
The customer support has been top tier from sales all the way to our implementation specialist (and soon to be customer success manager). We have asked a lot of Nick speceifically and he has been extremely helpful to work with and knowledgeable about the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For our team, the biggest hurdle has been navigating the Adobe CC. The process for uploading working files is quite manual and not easy to navigate. I realize this may be because we are using the connector incorrectly or because we are so new to the platform, but this seems like more work for our design team to figure out than it should be. It's a single home to access the 10s of thousands of documents our company manages, and when we need to update something, we can easily update it in one place that that is reflected through the 4 different websites our company manages, as well as internal use. The Onboarding Team, Adam and Carina, were extremely patient and knowlegable with teaching us how best to use the tool. They even helped create several unique solutions to meet our customized needs. The onboarding and implementation of this software has been a delight, working with them and seeing immediate benefits for our company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Unfortunately, Bynder says that it integrates with Drupal as a website asset management tool, and while this is technically true, it's integration is shockingly limited. You currently can only use 1 Bynder asset per Drupal web page/post, and even then, you cannot embed your asset in-line, only at the foot of your post. This may work fine for somebody using it for "blog" website, however, it is not even remotely acceptable for use on a product website. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Bynder is leading in the DAM space. The platform is intuitive, their onboarding is stellar, their customer support is clear and not at all condescending (Nick Taylor, if you can arrange it, is just the best), and their features just get better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do wish it cost less, and I'm hoping annual prices can come down as (or if) storage costs decrease and subscribers increase. For us, my only worry is we'll be priced out. But they've also been incredibly willing to work within our budget. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We use Bynder as our main DAM. Bynder is slowly becoming the source of truth for all thighs assets company wide. This year we went through a major taxonomy refresh and improved our filtering system. What I really like about Bynder is the ease of finding assets when you have a good filtering system in place. The results get smaller and smaller with the more filters one selects; and with just a few clicks, one can get to the assets they were looking for. Also, our success managers and onboarding team were always hands on, and anytime something had to be changed or wasn't quite the way we wanted, they managed to find a solution for the problem. Overall, I'm really satisfied with Bynder. And compared to a couple of years back when I first started using it, I can definitely see that there has been a big improvement to the platform. When we ask for some specific changes that we would like to implement, sometimes these updates aren't possible to be excuted from Bynder's side. And this can be quite frustrating as this could be game changer for our specific business.
I think it would be great if Bynder gave the option to work with engineers directly to implement these changes. Since I believe other customers would likely benefit from them as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Our company has had experience with multiple digital asset management (DAM) systems over the years, but switching to Bynder has been a game-changer. The implementation team was fantastic, ensuring a smooth transition and addressing any concerns we had promptly and efficiently.
Bynder’s product itself is fantastic. It provides an incredibly user-friendly platform that makes managing a large volume of digital assets a breeze. We’ve been particularly impressed with the AI image search and natural language search features—these innovative tools have been widely adopted by our end users, significantly improving their workflow and efficiency.
The Bynder team also does an excellent job of regularly releasing new features and updates, ensuring that we are always benefiting from the latest advancements. Overall, we couldn't be happier with our decision to switch to Bynder. It has truly transformed our digital asset management processes for the better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some of the areas such as Bynder Studio need to be enhanced a little more than they exist today, but we're confident that the team is aware of our requirements and actively thinking about them on their roadmap. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One of my reponsibilities as Delivery Operations Manager, is to manage the paid media team which includes social media. My team is responsible for collecting creative and copy assets in order to publish social ads. There are a lot of steps and moving parts between ideation and delivery. We needed a tool that would simplify our process so we can increase speed to market.
Bynder makes it easy to upload, download and manage images and copy decks. The AI feature also helps with tagging and adding Meta data. It's super easy to search for any asset by simply using the search bar.
Version control saves a ton of time by making sure our users are using the latest version of your creative assets and copy decks. We can easily track changes and compare different versions of an asset to see how it has changed.
Brand consistency is fundamental to our business. We created a wonderful online Brand Guidelines page that informs our staff on how to use our brand whether they want to use our logos, fonts, photos and other assets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Bynder's pricing can be high, especially for smaller businesses or teams with limited budgets. Additionally, some third-party integrations may come with additional monthly fees. That being said, they are an industry leader so if your company can afford it, I recommend the investment.
We also found the onboarding took long. It took about 5 months with weekly 1 hour meetings. The onboarding team does go through a lot of details and they are very knowledgable. I recommend to book two meetings per week to speed up the process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Bynder has really helped orgaize all of our assets. It is incredibly helpful to have all the info for each asset, so that cross-functional partners can also work with the assets and information. It has really streamlined everyone's workflow, and has saved everyone hours of time which was previously spent simply finding the asset in another software. It helps people focus on working and being creative, because now the tool has made the organization of what colleagues are looking for so much easier. I also really like it's filters so that there are easy ways to find assets. The customer support is also really fast and helpful, I always get my emails responded to same-day with very helpful solutions. I use Bynder multiple times a day and it's become a necessary part of my workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Bynder is a really helpful tool with a lot of features, and for the most part there is an easy entry point to learn how to use these features. Though, to use Bynder to it's fullest potential, there is a learning curve and someone needs to spend a lot of time fully understanding how to best use these advanced features. Though, I think that's just the way it is and it would be difficult for Bynder to make this an easy process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Having a single tool for managing the whole company's creative assets has been a game changer. It saves a huge amount of time in collecting and rounding up assets for campaigns, and having the control to manage what is private and public is great.
Loading video assets on web pages directly from the Bynder collections brings down loading times compared to embeding direct from the site or embedding YT / Vimeo etc.
Navigation is quick and snappy and the UI makes it very clear and easy to navigate to the content you need quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Overall I think it's a fantastic system and no real complaints. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I use it daily and have really enjoyed the experience. It's quite user-friendly for both as the brand and for customers who may not be as technology savvy. The fact that you can download multiple file types it useful. And the multiple sharing options - where it's with a link, creating a collection or sharing in email. The filtering helps to find the right assets as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not necessarily a downside by an opportunity to implement AI into the platform to help with the search functionality. So if people don't know exactly what filters to apply but can describe what they're looking for, that would be a great addition. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
