What do you like best about Bryq?

As a film festival team, we needed to discover and dig into a pile of enthusiastic applications from candidates who wanted to work with us and as we do not have a large HR department, this was becoming quite a stressful task. That is where Bryq came in and helped us efficiently identify the ones that really matched our needs. Recommendations to others considering Bryq:

We've found that having candidates complete the Bryq assessment early in the process helps guide future interview questions, so that has been a really big benefit for us. The more candidates you invite to take the assessment, the better comparison you're going to get, so I'd recommend going slightly wider in terms of invitees. Also, as Bryq recommends, try not to focus on too many aspects of the role or traits when it comes to the number of questions you're asking - focus on the right things for the role and don't overload candidates with too many questions. You might risk them being overwhelmed or even abandoning the assessment (we haven't had anyone do this, but we've been cautious about not including too many questions). What problems is Bryq solving and how is that benefiting you?

We always want to make sure we have the most complete picture of candidates before making an offer, and especially operating remote, phone and video interviews don't always give us a complete picture. Bryq has allowed us to uncover personality traits and aptitude that would be hard to uncover during these interviews, and it provides us with great guiding questions for interviews. Bryq contributes to finding a strong and sustainable match. The key reason for mismatches is a lack of alignment between a candidate’s personality and the DNA of the organization. Bryq allows to look “under the surface” and enables to select the best professional already before the first interview.

Bryq provides thorough and scientifically valid insights in personality and cognitive abilities and match them against your job profile using Holland Code theory. Bryq comes with a unique feature, Leadership potential, which is very useful for managerial positions. What do you like best about Bryq?

We have been using Bryq for a few years now and what I like about the software is the ability to gauge an new applicant's aptitude against the scores of our current and past employees. We have been able to determine that the test results generally correlate with performance with outliers in rare instances. I was a bit skeptical of the software at first.
