## The Predictive Index Reviews
  ### 1. Took the guesswork out of hiring and improved team alignment

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about The Predictive Index?**

What I like best about Predictive Index is how easy it makes it to understand people on a deeper level without overcomplicating things. The platform itself is clean and easy to navigate, which makes it simple to access insights without needing a lot of training. It takes what could feel like complex behavioral data and turns it into something practical you can actually use in real situations, especially when it comes to hiring and team dynamics.

I’ve found it really helpful for identifying work styles, improving communication, and making more confident hiring decisions. We’ve used the behavioral assessments and profiles to better understand how candidates and team members are naturally wired to work, which has helped with both hiring alignment and team collaboration.

The one-on-one relationship guides have also been a really helpful tool, especially across departments. They give practical insight into how different people prefer to communicate and work together, which has made collaboration smoother and helped avoid miscommunication.

From a performance standpoint, it’s been reliable and easy to use across teams, and onboarding new users has been fairly straightforward. While we didn’t heavily use integrations, it still fit well into our overall workflow alongside other tools. The insights are also presented in a way that feels intelligent and actionable, even without relying heavily on AI-driven features.

Overall, it creates a shared language around behaviors and strengths, making it easier to align the right people with the right roles and build stronger, more cohesive teams.

**What do you dislike about The Predictive Index?**

If I had to point out a downside about Predictive Index, it would be that there can be a lot of information to digest, especially when you’re first getting familiar with the platform. While the insights are helpful, it can take some time to fully understand how to interpret and apply them in a practical way.

Another challenge we ran into was around integrations. The assessment results didn’t directly integrate with our ATS, so it required extra manual steps to pull reports and share them with hiring managers for review. It wasn’t a dealbreaker, but it did add some friction to the hiring workflow.

From a pricing/ROI standpoint, it can feel like a bigger investment, so you really need teams to consistently use it to get the full value. It can also be easy for people to rely too heavily on the results without balancing them with real-world context and experience.

Overall, it’s a strong tool, but there’s definitely a learning curve, and the experience would be even smoother with more seamless integration into existing systems.

**What problems is The Predictive Index solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Predictive Index helped solve a lot of the guesswork that comes with hiring and managing people by providing clear, real-world insight into behavioral tendencies. Instead of relying purely on resumes or gut instinct, it provided clearer insight into how someone is wired to work, communicate, and handle different environments. That made it easier to make more confident hiring decisions and avoid mismatches that can be costly down the line.

We also used it to better understand team dynamics. Having visibility into different work styles made it easier to communicate, set expectations, and coach more effectively. Tools like the behavioral profiles and one-on-one relationship guides were especially helpful in improving collaboration across teams.

From a broader perspective, it helped ensure we were putting the right people in the right roles, which saved time during the hiring process, improved overall team performance, and created a more aligned and productive work environment.

  ### 2. Practical, Easy Behavioral Insights That Spark Better Hiring Conversations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about The Predictive Index?**

What I like most about The Predictive Index is how practical and easy it is to use day‑to‑day. The behavioral insights actually make sense and are simple to explain to hiring managers, which helps turn personality data into real conversations instead of just reports. It’s especially helpful for aligning roles with strengths, improving communication styles on teams, and setting clearer expectations from the start.

**What do you dislike about The Predictive Index?**

Sometimes the results feel a bit too high‑level and don’t capture the full picture of a person. It’s helpful, but it works best when paired with real conversations instead of being used on its own.

**What problems is The Predictive Index solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It benefits me by making hiring decisions more confident, improving communication with managers, and helping place people in roles where they’re more likely to succeed and stay engaged.

  ### 3. Powerful Candidate Insights with Best-Practice Guidance for Hiring Managers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James B. | Executive Recruiter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2026

**What do you like best about The Predictive Index?**

It provides insights into candidates’ past performance and accomplishments. At the same time, it gives hiring managers a clearer view of potential future performance and offers best-practice advice for communicating with and training new team members.

Results are easy to read and utilize.

**What do you dislike about The Predictive Index?**

There’s no way to tell whether candidates are manipulating their answers to achieve a preferred score.

**What problems is The Predictive Index solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps identify people with low performance and limited experience in meeting the company’s KPIs.

  ### 4. Elevating our hiring process

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Heather D. | Talent Acquisition Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2025

**What do you like best about The Predictive Index?**

The best part of using PI is the mission aligns with our values and mission so it is an easy sell to our leaders. The behavioral assessment has provided so much insight to a candidate when combined with face to face interview and resume. The interview builder has been a game changer for us. The assessment is so easy to explain to a candidate as well as take. It's also been an easy transition into using it in our hiring process. I can't imagine not having it especially for our leadership roles. We've steadily used it for each position that has been open.

**What do you dislike about The Predictive Index?**

Right now the only down side is that it doesn't talk to our ATS. I would love to be able to integrate it with the ATS so we can send it to have more automation behind the process but I believe that will come with time.

**What problems is The Predictive Index solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The assessment gives another level of confirmation that this candidate would a great fit for the position. The ultimate goal is to reduce turnover and I believe that will happen incorporating the assessment into our hiring process.

  ### 5. Game changer!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael C. | Major Account District Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2025

**What do you like best about The Predictive Index?**

Using The Predictive Index takes initial guess work out of finding candidates for specific roles. I particularly love the insights The Predictive Index provides to work with your teammates. Lastly, I love the feature that allows you to understand how someone was presenting themselves or viewing themselves in the "rearview" or last 90-120 days. This provides great insight as to whether or not they had to change their natural behavior to perform well in their last job. All very interesting.
I also want to mention the ease of use of the website and finding information. The training is so helpful to help you understand what you want to look for based on what you are looking to understand about a coworker or candidate for hire.

**What do you dislike about The Predictive Index?**

I can't think of anything that I dislike about The Predictive Index. If you half heartedly use The Predictive Index, it's tough to understand the specifics about someone's profile.

**What problems is The Predictive Index solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Predictive Index gives us a better read on candidates who fit profiles that we have found to most successful in the sales roles that we hire for. Hiring and training candidates is expensive, not to mention the emotional toll hiring the wrong person can have on an individual and team. Nothing is 100%, but we see that the PI leveraged well can lead you to better successful hires.
The PI also helps leaders understand how their employees think and act, as well as what their team needs from them, in terms of communication style, constant support, or being completely productive on their own. Every role has it's place and providing leaders with a tool that can help lead people is so valuable.

  ### 6. Useful Personally and Professionally

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kelven W. | Director, Commercial Sales, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2025

**What do you like best about The Predictive Index?**

I’ve been using Predictive Index regularly over the past several years and it helps me make more informed, thoughtful decisions about people. It goes beyond just resumes or gut instincts and gives real insight into how someone is wired.

I use PI during interviews to better understand how a candidate might fit into the role and team. It helps me get a sense of their natural style, what motivates them, how they communicate, and how they work with others. This extra layer of understanding has helped avoid mismatches and made onboarding much smoother.

I also use PI as a regular reference point for coaching my team. It’s especially helpful when I’m supporting my direct reports with their own team members. We can have much more focused, personalized conversations that actually stick, because we’re speaking to the person’s strengths and natural tendencies.

Even at home, PI has made a difference. I've sent the survey to my wife and was able to give her a high level read back. It gives us both a better understanding of how we each approach situations (although I don't use it all the time in the moment). It has helped us communicate more clearly and with more patience.

I’ve also found PI extremely useful for self-reflection. It’s helped me become more self-aware and clearer about my own strengths and weaknesses. I catch myself faster in situations where I might otherwise react out of habit, and I’m better at leaning into what I naturally do best.

Next, I’m looking forward to introducing it to our kids so I can connect with them more effectively. They are teenagers and I'm struggling to relate to them.

**What do you dislike about The Predictive Index?**

I really like using PI, but there are a few things to watch out for. The standard profiles can feel a bit too cookie-cutter at times, and it's easy to fall into the trap of putting people in boxes based on their pattern. It’s a great starting point, but definitely not the whole picture. People do also evolve over time so important to not rely on it too heavily without real conversations or context.

**What problems is The Predictive Index solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For New Hires: it helps me quickly understand a candidate’s natural work style, communication preferences, and motivators. It gives you insight into how they’re likely to show up in a team, how they handle pressure, and whether their behavioral traits align with the demands of the role. It helps us identify long-term fit and success to hire the right person.

For Existing Team Members: PI is a great coaching tool. I can use it to tailor my feedback, understand what drives them and how we can support their individual team members. It gives you a clearer picture of how to unlock their potential, identify gaps and build stronger communication.

  ### 7. Efficient Recruitment Tool, But Pricey

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emillie L.

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about The Predictive Index?**

I like how easy The Predictive Index is to use. It's quick to send assessments and I find it straightforward to get a score back, which makes comparing candidates to one another much easier. This is especially important for analytical roles. Also, the initial setup was easy.

**What do you dislike about The Predictive Index?**

Sometimes sending the test can be confusing as you have to select which tests to send and the settings are sometimes hidden. Also, it is expensive.

**What problems is The Predictive Index solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use The Predictive Index to assess candidates and compare them, helping us sort interview questions. It's easy to use, quick to send, and provides scores for easy comparison, which is important for analytical roles.

  ### 8. PI and the training courses have been immeasurably helpful in our teams' managing relationships.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer G. | Director of Inventory, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2025

**What do you like best about The Predictive Index?**

The most helpful part about PI is understanding the relationship between drives and needs. It is easier to be patient with another person when you understand them. If it weren't for the training sessions, understanding drives and needs would be much more difficult.

**What do you dislike about The Predictive Index?**

Sometimes it is easy to forget that the person is more than just their PI formula. Their point of view is also affected by their current situation, or even a bad day. PI is great, but humans are very complex.

**What problems is The Predictive Index solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using the rule "treat people the way they want to be treated" is much easier with a PI report. It helps me prepare for conversations so that conflict can be productive and not discouraging. It helps me to manage up and down.

  ### 9. Quick, Easy, and Accurate

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Commercial Real Estate | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2025

**What do you like best about The Predictive Index?**

I have taken other "personality/behavior" assessments, but Predictive Index is by far the most user-friendly platform on the market. From a candidate perspective, it is quick and easy to take, resulting in higher follow-through rates. From an employer/administrator perspective, it is easy to set-up and manage. The recent overhaul of the platform was a huge improvement, making the platform even easier to use.

**What do you dislike about The Predictive Index?**

The only downside is that it doesn't offer the ability to give candidates a basic snapshot of their results as a ROI of their time for taking it. I know I can click a button to have the results sent to the candidates but it would be nice if PI could offer a few positive bullet points as a takeaway for those who complete it.

**What problems is The Predictive Index solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives us an idea if a potential candidate will be successful in the role given the criteria we deem is important for someone to be successful.

  ### 10. Predicitve Index Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2025

**What do you like best about The Predictive Index?**

We absolutely love the job match tool. Before we interview anyone, we require a PI. This tool helps us navigate the interview and enables us to determine if the candidate is the right fit for the position before we extend an offer. The Behavioral Report and 1:1 relationship guide is something I reference weekly. It's part of my preparation for meetings and Team calls. Brian Gelt knows this tool inside and out and is so enthusiastic and passionate about teaching us how to leverage it.

**What do you dislike about The Predictive Index?**

I haven't found any. I'm a huge advocate/ fan.

**What problems is The Predictive Index solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PI saves us time and money. Ensuring we don't hire the wrong person for the job and helping us retain our people by leveraging their PI profile so we can have productive and beneficial 1:1s and team meetings and check ins.
