I am appreciative of where RENXT is going. As a new user, I find database to be very antiquated and I'm uncertain why people love it so much. The training sequences are very good though and I've really enjoyed Blackbaud University. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It doesn't have all the capabilities of database view and I find it strange that despite being the same product, they have slightly different terminologies, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I find the integration to FE the best aspect. The program itself is very easy to use, and the knowledgebase is a 'wealth of knowledge' that I have found extremely helpful when in need of navigation for certain tasks. Most recently I was excited to learn of the duplicate record assistance update and love the updates that have been completed with regard to the gift management section of the program. The text on the program is extremely small and it would be nice to have an option to zoom, as well as to carry the program over to another window. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like how easy it is to pick up and understand, and the depth of the program. in a few months I feel like an expert and yet there are so many things that I have to learn.

I have been using the system for at least a decade and have seen the evolution over time. At my current organization when we implemented RENXT in early 2020 the implementation was so easy. It integrates seamlessly with FENXT. They are constantly innovating and they listen to their customers. I enjoy being a part of the community, their product updates are always informative and the product has gotten better over time. Raiser's Edge NXT gives you access to a lot of what you can do in traditional Raiser's Edge in a far more streamlined way. For example, I find myself defaulting to the 'List' option in NXT to find individual gifts or get a general overview of giving history for a certain time period or appeal rather than getting into the more intensive report or query builder in Raiser's Edge. It also has a far lower bar to access for those just getting to know the software, and could probably be complete enough for your day-to-day tasks depending on your organization's size and needs. Customer support is readily available through Blackbaud's chat function, though you can be bounced around quite a bit for follow-up if your issue is not totally straightforward. Raiser's Edge NXT is currently missing some of the more necessary features offered in Raiser's Edge database view, and those additions feel slow to be made even though they've seemingly been promised for years. Errors made in NXT cannot be corrected in NXT, which makes data-entry a higher stakes proposition, and not all of the information we currently record for gifts can be entered outside of database view. Unfortunately, as it exists now, it's not complete enough to use exclusively even though I far prefer the interface to Raiser's Edge. Blackbaud University, Blackbaud's in-house training system, does not have a robust set of training modules for NXT (though that may be for the best as their instructor-led training is prohibitively expensive for a small organization). It's easy to use once you've gotten through the basics, and a great tool not only for tracking gifts, but also creating events, donation forms, and reports and queries that help our front line fundraisers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is currently going through a transition of moving a lot of its deskop "database view" features into its online platform. This means that some of the tools that are new to the platform are still missing some of the capabilities that they had in the desktop version. I really like the online giving aspect of RENXT. The simplicity of approving gifts is wonderful especially now that you have the option to reveiw ones that might be duplicates prior to bringing them into your system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

RENXT provides fundraisers with easily accessible infomation about donors and their giving histories-from their desk or on their mobile device. Because it is intuitive to navigate, users feel confident in understanding the donor record and managing their portfolios. Reporting and lists are somewhat limited in RENXT and as a result, fundraisers need help to access more detailed information about a group of donors or gifts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
