"Beware the Upsell"

What do you like best about Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT?

It's clean, it's robust, and it's built to scale well -- if you have scale to begin with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT?

Beware strong sales up front and locked-in three-year contracts. A former employee signed an agreement for our small database of about 400 donors and was pitched a $4700 per year agreement. It auto-renewed without anyone's knowledge after some turnover and the rate more than doubled to $10,000 per annum; ludicrous four our scale. Shame on us for not managing this particular contract through transition, but beware, and carefully examine what first-years' investments look like compared to ultimate annual costs.
