Bazaarvoice is not cheapest of the alternatives and sometimes getting the required key account manager support is difficult. Also getting GDPR-agreement in place was far from easy and quick. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The customization available on the back end is really fantastic. No more code changes if you want to change a button color or font size. Having full control of the look and feel is very control in a fast-moving ecommerce environment. They have been making changes to their platform in the last year that are slowly consolidating different functionality (reporting, for example) into one location, versus having 2 different applications to look through, but it's still a little non-intuitive sometimes when trying to find data. We use Bazaarvoice every day, it's a great tool for monitoring customer sentiment. We've also used Bazaarvoice for their sampling which is always a great collaborative process. The thing I dislike most about Bazaarvoice is definitely the customer service. Any time we are having an issue and reach out to a rep we are redirected to the support email where each time you reply you end up talking to someone else and re explaining the situation. Days can go by without a resolution. The interface of the site is also terrible. I cant search to see if I sampled a style I have to go through each campaign (which are all named the same thing, so confusing) and look through each page of styles. The best thing that I like about affable a.i is that as a business professional it helps me to find relevant and authentic influencers with the help of multiple filters. Adding to this, it enables me to save more time in acquiring influencers essential informations which I need such as their demographics,reach, engagement rate, and etc. As a result, it increases more my effieciency at work with the assurance that I will find the right influencers across different platforms. I feel like the communication between our team and the bazaarvoice team can be improved. Multiple emails from different Bazaarvoice reps can be confusing. In our case we have items that are low price, that low price/ value is not clearly explained to reviewers and often times our items are compared to much more expensive items which leave poor reviews.
