What I like best about Apollo.io is the contact data it provides for almost any industry I want to target.
As the owner of a custom printing service, I need to reach decision-makers in banks, FMCG, and automotive companies, and Apollo.io makes that process easy and effective.
There are also a lot of AI features that I still need to completely explore.
Overall, Apollo.io has made my outreach much more efficient and effective, helping me connect with high-value clients faster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So the tool is complex and there is a learning curve to completely understand the tool.
There are too many settings and features that might feel overwhelming.
Another issue is the the tool occasionally lags. There are times when it takes longer to load, especially when I’m building prospect lists or exporting data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like best about Apollo.io is its incredibly comprehensive B2B contact database and the precision it brings to prospecting.
The advanced filtering options let me zero in on prospects based on industry, company size, technology stack, and dozens of other criteria, which has dramatically improved the quality of our outreach lists.
You can easily export the list and put it in your CRM or cold email tool.
Lately, they have also added more advanced features like Buying Intent, lead scoring, tracking website visits and using AI search.
Overall, the tool is a complete solution for your cold outreach. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The most significant issue is data accuracy despite the size of the database, I frequently encounter outdated or incorrect contact information when compared to their LinkedIn profile.
Also the email ids which are shown as verified in Apollo.io tend to bounce as well, so we use an external email verifying tool.
I also encounter some issues with the extension. It sometimes crashes on Sales Navigator and you need to reinstall the extension. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We came to Apollo to get access to a variety of companies we wanted to market to. We've been successful in that regard, as it's far more comprehensive and efficient compared to doing individual Google searches. We got so much more!
What we didn't realize is that we'd be able to build out Lists and apply those lists to Sequences, which automate the outbound marketing efforts. We've also linked our Teams accounts so that it's recording meetings with prospects. There's a bit of AI magic that analyzes those meetings, provides lists of topics covered, finds potential objectives and also points out next steps.
We use Apollo every single day as part of our workflow.
This has been a great investment for our company and I've already turned two different business owners into Apollo customers! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As with most B2B Saas resources, the data can be incomplete or outdated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I’ve been using the Apollo AI Sales Platform for a while now, and it has truly revolutionized the way I manage sales processes. The platform is incredibly easy to use, even for someone who isn't super tech-savvy. The interface is intuitive, and I was able to get started quickly without any hassle.
Implementation was a breeze. I was up and running in no time, and the setup process was seamless. The platform's integration capabilities are impressive—Apollo easily connects with the tools I already use, making it a smooth addition to my workflow.
One of the standout features is its customer support. Every time I've needed assistance, the support team has been quick to respond and extremely helpful, ensuring I get the most out of the platform.
I use Apollo very frequently, and I’m constantly impressed with the range of features it offers. From AI-driven insights to automated workflows, there’s something for every aspect of the sales process. The versatility is a huge plus, and I feel like I’m always discovering new tools that make my job easier.
Overall, Apollo has been an essential tool in boosting my productivity and improving the efficiency of my sales efforts. It’s an all-in-one solution that I can highly recommend to any sales team looking to streamline their operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I use Apollo very frequently, and it’s become an essential part of my sales workflow. The platform is extremely user-friendly, with a smooth and intuitive interface that made getting started super easy. Implementation was quick and painless, and it integrated seamlessly with the tools I already use.
One of the things I really appreciate is how feature-rich Apollo is. From detailed lead data to powerful outreach tools and automation, it offers everything I need to manage and grow my pipeline efficiently. I also want to highlight their customer support—they’re always quick to respond and genuinely helpful whenever I’ve reached out.
The only feature I’ve found missing so far is the ability to search for profiles based on their time at a company. It would be really useful for targeting prospects based on tenure, especially for certain roles or industries. Hopefully, this is something that can be added in the future.
Overall, Apollo is an excellent sales platform that delivers real value. It’s easy to use, easy to implement, and full of smart features that support my day-to-day sales efforts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have been using Apollo for about 2 years now. The tool is extremely useful. Some things stand out to me:
- Searching for emails is mostly included, without charging for credits.
- I don't need to leave LinkedIn to search for contact information, and I can add the contact to a sequence once it has been created and registered in the CRM (Salesforce), syncing everything up.
This last point makes my time management extremely effective. Because of this, I strongly recommend using it in conjunction with the Chrome extension.
I highly recommend it, and I think the tool pays for itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The theme is automatically set by the system's default. Although I use the dark theme for almost everything, I don't find Apollo's theme pleasant, and it was difficult to search for it in the settings to change it. Counterintuitively, this option is not in the settings, but appears when you click on your name (bottom left corner).
Something more specific: Brazil has specific regulations for obtaining a phone number. This is the second company I work for, and when requesting the number, a form opens for sending documents from the company I work for. I think Apollo itself could offer/inform companies about this during their onboarding process (for those that operate here). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love the variety of tools you can use to find the right person or company, making the experience very easy. A large number of filters available as well as functions and reliability that other platforms don't have. I use Apollo every single day at work, because it can be easily combined with other tools to make my job more meaningful. I like the way it can be used with LinkedIn and other platforms. It implements nicely. I have never had a problem with Apollo, so there has been no need of contacting customer support so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I guess for me the AI functions are not as useful, but maybe it is because I'm not familiar enough with those yet. The downside is that in some cases the lead's contact information might not be updated or available to the user. In occasions, I've had to use other platforms to get the missing info. Apollo.io is excellent for finding and verifying contact information for B2B prospects. The integration with HubSpot is particularly useful, allowing for seamless ticket creation when a positive response is received from an outbound sequence. This streamlines our workflow significantly Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While generally effective, sometimes the contact data can be slightly outdated. Also, ensuring the correct contact stage is set in Apollo (like MQL) for the HubSpot integration to trigger properly requires careful attention. Could be also easier to use at the beginning. Apollo.io is a good source of a B2B contact list curated from LinkedIn. It has helped to reach out to many potential clients in the past. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The new free plan only offers 185 credits in a month, which has decreased significantly and hinders emailing contacts or viewing their contact number. Therefore, it has resulted in finding other ways of searching for B2B contact databases. If only it could resume the original plan and not make it hard to use, it would be used by many marketers and sales personnel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As a new business owner with limited resources, I appreciate that Apollo offers real value even on the free plan. Unlike other platforms, it doesn’t restrict the essential features just to push you into upgrading. It feels like Apollo truly understands how to support businesses in their early stages—building trust that naturally leads to long-term loyalty. It is also very easy to use if you have no prior experience with CRM platforms - the basics, I mean, easy to integrate it into your operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I found it a bit tricky to navigate the sequences feature at first—especially when I realised my initial email sequence hadn’t gone out due to some AI confusion. Figuring out how to re-send the same emails using the new template was a bit of a mission. I was cautious not to accidentally send the outdated versions, so in the end, I sent them manually one by one. It took some time, but I got it done. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Apollo.io is a great all-in-one platform for B2B sales and prospecting. The extensive contact database, email automation, and seamless CRM integrations make it a strong tool for lead generation and outreach. The ability to filter contacts based on industry, company size, and job title is particularly useful for targeted campaigns.
Overall, Apollo.io is a valuable asset for sales and marketing teams looking to scale their outbound efforts, but there’s still room for refinement in data accuracy and usability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
However, while the database is large, some contact details (especially emails and phone numbers) can be outdated. Additionally, the platform’s UI can feel a bit cluttered at times, and the pricing structure could be more flexible for smaller teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
