What do you like best about Apollo.io?

I use this just about everyday for one task or the other. Pretty much anyone or company I need to prospect is easy to find. So many different filters to narrow your search down, which save a ton of time. With Sequences and Plays you can can automate so many tasks, which also saves time. The Chrome Extention is a great tool. I can be on pretty much any website and it will pull a general summery of the company. Then I can click on it to take me to the Apollo record and start looking for who I need to contact.

Knowing nothing about Apollo, it was recomended by a friend. It was so easy to set up. They walk you through step by step. Customer service is top notch. There are also endless integrations with other apps and services. I recomend their Slack channel. Really good place to get help or ideas. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

My biggest issue is with pushing contacts to my HubSpot CRM. I always get "Unrecognized error: account_upsert_failed". It never tells me why or how to fix it. If I could just get this part to work properly Apollo would be just about perfect for my use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Apollo.io?

What I like best about Apollo.io is its incredibly comprehensive B2B contact database and the precision it brings to prospecting.

The advanced filtering options let me zero in on prospects based on industry, company size, technology stack, and dozens of other criteria, which has dramatically improved the quality of our outreach lists.

You can easily export the list and put it in your CRM or cold email tool.

Lately, they have also added more advanced features like Buying Intent, lead scoring, tracking website visits and using AI search.

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

The most significant issue is data accuracy despite the size of the database, I frequently encounter outdated or incorrect contact information when compared to their LinkedIn profile.

Also the email ids which are shown as verified in Apollo.io tend to bounce as well, so we use an external email verifying tool.

I also encounter some issues with the extension. It sometimes crashes on Sales Navigator and you need to reinstall the extension. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Apollo.io solving and how is that benefiting you?

The biggest problem it addresses is the time-consuming process of finding accurate, high-quality leads. It has number of advance filtering options that even sales navigator doesn't have.

Apollo.io makes it much easier for us to identify and connect with the right decision-makers in our ICP.

What do you like best about Apollo.io?

We came to Apollo to get access to a variety of companies we wanted to market to. We've been successful in that regard, as it's far more comprehensive and efficient compared to doing individual Google searches. We got so much more!

What we didn't realize is that we'd be able to build out Lists and apply those lists to Sequences, which automate the outbound marketing efforts. We've also linked our Teams accounts so that it's recording meetings with prospects. There's a bit of AI magic that analyzes those meetings, provides lists of topics covered, finds potential objectives and also points out next steps.

We use Apollo every single day as part of our workflow.

I use Apollo very frequently, and it’s become an essential part of my sales workflow. One of the things I really appreciate is how feature-rich Apollo is. What do you like best about Apollo.io?

I have been using Apollo for about 2 years now. The tool is extremely useful. Some things stand out to me:

- Searching for emails is mostly included, without charging for credits.

- I don't need to leave LinkedIn to search for contact information, and I can add the contact to a sequence once it has been created and registered in the CRM (Salesforce), syncing everything up.

This last point makes my time management extremely effective. Because of this, I strongly recommend using it in conjunction with the Chrome extension.

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

The theme is automatically set by the system's default. Although I use the dark theme for almost everything, I don't find Apollo's theme pleasant, and it was difficult to search for it in the settings to change it. Counterintuitively, this option is not in the settings, but appears when you click on your name (bottom left corner).

Something more specific: Brazil has specific regulations for obtaining a phone number. This is the second company I work for, and when requesting the number, a form opens for sending documents from the company I work for. I think Apollo itself could offer/inform companies about this during their onboarding process (for those that operate here). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Apollo.io solving and how is that benefiting you?

Apollo helps me in two scenarios:

1) When I'm actively prospecting, it allows me to get contacts (email and phone) directly from the person's LinkedIn profile.

What do you like best about Apollo.io?

I love the variety of tools you can use to find the right person or company, making the experience very easy. A large number of filters available as well as functions and reliability that other platforms don't have. I use Apollo every single day at work, because it can be easily combined with other tools to make my job more meaningful. I like the way it can be used with LinkedIn and other platforms. I guess for me the AI functions are not as useful, but maybe it is because I'm not familiar enough with those yet. The downside is that in some cases the lead's contact information might not be updated or available to the user. In occasions, I've had to use other platforms to get the missing info. Integrating with CRM: The platform integrates directly with HubSpot. When a prospect replies positively to an outreach sequence, a ticket is automatically created in HubSpot.

What do you like best about Apollo.io?

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

The new free plan only offers 185 credits in a month, which has decreased significantly and hinders emailing contacts or viewing their contact number. Therefore, it has resulted in finding other ways of searching for B2B contact databases. Apollo.io helps to curate the B2B contact database easily and it helps me to find prospects interested in PraesentiaAI, a workforce management app of Systellar Technologies. Moreover, the solution curates database from LinkedIn. Therefore, it is trustworthy, approx 90% of the time. I am working as a marketing, sales, and lead generation head of the company. What do you like best about Apollo.io?

As a new business owner with limited resources, I appreciate that Apollo offers real value even on the free plan. Unlike other platforms, it doesn’t restrict the essential features just to push you into upgrading. It feels like Apollo truly understands how to support businesses in their early stages—building trust that naturally leads to long-term loyalty. I found it a bit tricky to navigate the sequences feature at first—especially when I realised my initial email sequence hadn’t gone out due to some AI confusion. Figuring out how to re-send the same emails using the new template was a bit of a mission. It's hard to find anything we didn't like about Apollo.io… Everything is so super easy to use that our experience has been quite, quite positive.

The only one thing we found that could be improved are some minor User Experience details (button placement, for instance), but we believe the team will come across and improve on that! 😊
