I find AdLib DSP to be a solid solution for our requirements. The software is super easy to use and has some great features, allowing our team to get the jobs that need to be done. It solved a lot of the problems we needed it to address. The initial setup was very straightforward, and I appreciate the great customer support team. Additionally, I like being able to manage everything in our demand side advertising under one roof.

We've yet to find any reasons as to why we should not use AdLib.

AdLib makes it easy to run campaigns across the world’s top DSPs. We know its broad mix of channels, creative formats, and inventory partners will never hold us back, which gives us the confidence to deliver exactly what our clients expect.

On top of that, the platform itself is simple and intuitive—which I really enjoy—and the customer support is outstanding and attentive.

I don’t have any major complaints, but in my particular case, the subscription fee can sometimes be a concern—especially when we don’t have a significant volume of campaigns to run.

The free trial period was great! The support during (and after) the trial has also been tremendously helpful! This tool is extremely flexible in terms of working with smaller ad budgets, and yet, still manages to get our ads onto some major websites! I really like that there's a easy way to narrow down my target audience in multiple ways from keywords to geo-fences.

**What do you dislike about AdLib DSP?**

Unless you have a good grasp on how Audience segmentation works, it is difficult to know which audience to select. For example, third party data providers vary, but how? I wish there was more definitions or a knowledge-base built-in for those of us who are just learning. Biggest downside is the $499/mo subscription. It's a bit hefty for limited budgets.

We have wanted to find an affordable way to advertise to our target market that offers flexible options for smaller advertising budgets. Adlibs checks those boxes!

Working with Ad Lib has been an exceptional experience. From the initial onboarding to the launch of our first campaign, the process was seamless and efficient, enabling us to be fully operational in less than ten days. The Ad Lib team provided outstanding support throughout, closely monitoring our deals during the initial weeks and offering invaluable optimization recommendations and strategic insights as we mapped out our growth plans. Their commitment and expertise have been instrumental in our success.

The only minor challenge we encountered was the approval process for our creative, which took longer than anticipated. This delay was not entirely within Ad Lib's control, as each partnered DSP needed to individually approve the content.

The on-boarding process is easy, transparent and very quick. The interface is intuitive, and it provides a seamless experience from campaign setup to optimization. I find the platform to be very comprehensive and useful. If I have to point out a weakness, it would be in the reports. Although they have all the metrics, they could have a more interesting visual dashboard

**What do you like best about AdLib DSP?**

Back before we had our own DSP we used Adlib to run direct campaigns. AdLib has transformed how we manage CTV and Audio campaigns, making it incredibly easy to run ads across all streaming platforms globally. We did not need separate licenses for each DSP or log into each one individually.

AdLib gave us all the access needed under one roof, eliminating the need for multiple logins and cutting down on administrative work. We can now seamlessly extend our campaigns to a variety of streaming platforms worldwide, ensuring our ads reach a broad and diverse audience.

The platform's user-friendly interface makes setting up and managing CTV campaigns straightforward, even for those of us who aren't tech experts. By centralising campaign management, AdLib saved us a ton of time and resources, allowing our team to focus more on creativity and strategy and we implemented a lot of our these features when we set out to build our own DSP.

Moreover, the comprehensive reporting tools gave us clear insights into how our campaigns are performing, enabling us to make smart, data-driven decisions and fine-tune our strategies. Overall, AdLib has been a game-changer for our CTV and Audio advertising efforts. Its streamlined process, global reach, and easy-to-use interface make it a must-have for any business looking to maximise their CTV campaign impact without the headache of juggling multiple DSP account.

**What do you dislike about AdLib DSP?**

One thing that could make AdLib DSP even better is offering automated reporting features. Being able to do this on our own would be really helpful for traders.

AdLib DSP has transformed how we approached CTV and Audio advertising by solving several key problems. It lets us use multiple DSPs in one place, so we don't need separate licenses or logins for each. This makes it easier to run global campaigns across different streaming platforms, reaching a wider audience without all the usual headaches. Its simple interface means even non-experts can manage campaigns easily, freeing up time for more creative work. By handling everything in one place, AdLib saved us time and resources, making us quicker to launch and adjust campaigns. Its clear performance reports help us make smarter decisions and improve how we advertise. Overall, AdLib DSP makes CTV and Audio advertising simpler and more effective, helping us reach more people and get better results for the brands we work with.

**What do you like best about AdLib DSP?**

The design is extremely easy to use.  The free trial was great and it was a cheap way to get access to the Media Math DSP.  It seems like the owner Mike really cares about the product.  The targeting options that are baked in are extensive.

The company saw this review and reached out.  It sounds like they really care and are trying to make several changes to make the DSP better.

**What do you dislike about AdLib DSP?**

The true test of a platform is when things go wrong.  Even with chat all of our communication was with Mike, I am not sure that there are any other client facing staff at the company.  Because of this support could take hours to respond.  Because it is based on MediaMath it is hampered by design.  They can only add features that are supported by Media Math. so innovation is lacking.  

There were some major development issues.  We reached out to support many times tried multiple workarounds however couldn't do simple things like excluding a domain or platform.  There are no forecasting tools in the platform, leaving it to feel incomplete when compared to other DSPs.

One of the reasons that we chose this DSP was due to its Tapclicks integration.   We confirmed this on our demo call.   However when we signed up and reporting was due we were told there would be an additional fee or significantly higher minimum spend for that to be an option.

The last and most important is a warning.  When you cancel you will be locked out and all data is erased.  So you either have to cancel mid-month or pay an additional $500 platform fee to be able to report the next month.  Despite Mike telling us that we could have an additional 3 days for reporting, our account was canceled and we have no end-of-month reporting to show the client.

It gave us some experience in DSPs and pushed us to find a better and more extensive partner.

The on demand reporting dashboards, are perhaps not as robust as I would like, however they are continously being improved with updates and whenever I have reporting queries the AdLib team are always on hand to gather the required information.

AdLib has made managing programmtic advertising in-house viable for our business. Otherwise we would have to spend thousands in management fees every month with agencies, and also start out on a vastly larger media budget.

Creating Campaigns and audience are easy, plus pixels creating. But the retro geofencing feature is my most favorite.

**What do you dislike about AdLib DSP?**

2 different platform is hard to use. sometimes one does not sync with another. For example Geo fencing created in App2 does not show up in campaigns. Also the audience page is not resposinsive enough, for example selecting 3PAs, it's takes several attempts to get what desired.

Among all the features in adlib the Retroactive Geofencing is helping us to reach the targeting audience for our clients.

My team has had a lot of churn over the last several years and we have had a lot of issue with on-boarding new team members in the DSP UIs. We discovered AdLib and were really impressed that we could still deliver our campaigns across the same inventory but the UI was so much easier to navigate. I would highly recommend checking it out.

AdLib is incredibly easy to use for folks that have been buying media for years or just starting. We have had experts on our team use incredibly powerful features and granularity, but also been able to run campaigns with people that had never worked in a DSP before.

Depending on your goals and budgets, AdLib can come in higher priced for certain campaigns and at very large budgets it probably makes sense as a big part of your mix for programmatic buys. If you are going really broad, then you may need to supplement with additional ways of buying.

AdLib is allowing us to scale up and down very quickly without agency support. Having no minimums for any given period gives us maximum flexibility but also provides immense scale when needed quickly.

Programmatic advertising can be confusing at the best of times, and far too many vendors have incredibly large minimum spends. We discovered AdLib several years ago and love its easy-to-use platform. As a digitally savvy Marketing Consultancy, AdLib has allowed us to offer programmatic services to our clients cost-effectively.

Nothing of note, it would be nice if an account could have a pause button if a client didn't need to use it for a month, but if you have a regular need this is mute.

The support they provide is absolutely incredible. Mike and his team will go out of their way to help you structure your campaign to see success not just on your ad metrics but your clients business KPISs. Not only is every feature I want there, but they go out of their way to make smart suggestions to help you and your clients succeed. When I was working agency side I defaulted to adlib.

UI is a bit clunky and exporting reports is a pain. CPMs can be a bit high depending on what you're buying.

AdLib makes it easy to buy ad space programmatically and monitor and adjust campaign specifications based on performance. The straightforward tool and the live support for issues, questions or recommendations make it stand out.

**What do you dislike about AdLib DSP?**

The UX sometimes feels a little clunky when setting up campaigns. Looking at a full campaign and comparing it to others can be tough since many of the elements  (audience size, creative, pixels, etc.) have long text names. This could be improved with some tagging or color coding.

We like having the capacity to buy excess ad space from multiple providers without having to work directly with them. AdLib saves a ton of onboarding time and is an excellent supplement to buying directly from sellers.

**What do you like best about AdLib DSP?**

When i first started with DSP, i tried at least 2 platforms ( Zeta and Stackadapt) . The ongoing thought of them always was, why this has to be so complicated?  The support was posing that , the platform were that complicated for its grade of complexity and because of their access to premium inventory and such. Never understood why. Then i came across ADLIB, i did by myself in literally 6 steps in a clear plain interface, my first campaign.  That is golden when trying start the engine, and then you can easily come back and refine the campaign by yourself. So yes, definitely is a DSP for everyone. You got your target, you got to do multiple other tasks as a marketer, RTB and its programmatic esscence should'nt bee like programming a space ship.

**What do you dislike about AdLib DSP?**

Perhaps the report interface can be polished, so we can better download it and show the clients where their budget went to. So far, i have not found any other dislikes. I got a running campaign trying to optimize it can definitely come back to better input my experience.

**Recommendations to others considering AdLib DSP:**

You have to try it! it really feels the change vs other platforms. Take that from somebody who has walked that path for at least 6 years.

**What problems is AdLib DSP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My client needed a campaign for a theater show that is incoming. They were also doing the typical ppc campaign on G Ads and such, but they needed something more specific , something to give that plus to their typical Youtube ads, display ads and everything where they can be shown, outside the wall gardens of Google and Facebook.  Adlib is helping me achieving that.  One benefit i cherish is the customer service. There is a permanente bubble that connects you directly to someone in the help team, they can guide you if you are not a programmatic expert, then, you wouldn't ideally need to contact the so called "managed service" of other dsp's or agencies; because you can do it by yourself and their support chat.
