The learning curve was very short and there are a wide variety of AI voices that I use for diverse-sounding text-to-speech for videos. The exports are simple and work seemlessly when I import them into Canva. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The AI voices are hit and miss when it comes to inflection and acronyms. I sometimes try two or three different voices before I find one that hits all the right notes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

VEED has revolutionized my video editing process with its intuitive and user-friendly interface. I love how I can edit, add subtitles, create engaging social media clips, and even use its powerful AI features—all within a few clicks. The cloud-based platform means I can access my projects anytime, anywhere, without worrying about downloads or storage. It’s perfect for both beginners and advanced users! While VEED is excellent overall, I wish the export times were a little faster for larger files. Additionally, a few more advanced transitions or effects options would make it unbeatable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I use it for subtitling mainly. I used to use another software for this but I switched from that due to it's complexity. VEED was so easy to use and intuitive. The customer support was very prompt about any problems that I had. We were able to integrate our entire workflow into VEED.io as soon as we started using it. We now use it almost daily now. The subtitling and clip generation features are amazing and awesome. It was so easy to implement the subtitles into the videos. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Since there are a lot of features, it might sometimes be difficult to find a particular thing. Also the subtitle editing part is a bit tricky and can be made easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I enjoy the assistance I get with edits I've already made, I.E subtitles, color correction, resizing for social media, eye correction, and resizing for social media, and I can't forget making clips out of my shows. Also I should mention you can edit from scratch in VEED too and though it's not as functional as my editing program for a basic edit or for a beginner who's just learning VEED is an ideal editing tool. I prefer to use my program as I've been and come to VEED for my after effects (again the subtitles and color correction), but for simple edits I have used VEED. For example If I just want to merge two clips I've made together and switch out the audio, no need to go to my editing program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish VEED had stabilization for shaky video. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
VEED is a must-have for content creators and managers, especially in a lean-run corporate setting. When I have one piece of content (like a long email announcement or a CEO town hall), VEED effortlessly guides me to chopping it up for snackable, memorable bite-sized content nuggets that can be put on our intranet, email newsletter, digital signage, etc. The ease of inserting and editing subtitles, music, and attention-grabbing graphics are just incredible. On some other platforms, if I reposition a subtitle on the screen, I have to go and reposition every-single-subtitle! VEED automatically makes the change across my timeline. It's so easy to share videos, especially to people outside of our ecosystem. I use VEED daily. The embedding features and downloading capabilities make integration with our digital systems FLAWLESS. The only drawback I've found is that our avatar and full name is not visible when we share videos via a Veed link. Our company logo is set up as our avatar, but what people see in that space is just the first letter of our company. I've tried many fixes to no avail. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The user interface is great, it's similar to Canva so it was very intuitive to use. Before VEED, I was using iMovie on my MacBook, and I found this app to not be so user friendly. But with VEED, I could create what I wanted in minutes vs. hours. What I also love are the following features - the subtitles are great and customizable, I like using the teleprompter for longer videos, so easy to edit, I like being able to download clips or sections of longer videos with ease, VEED's selection of music also suits my taste. Also, when you add music to a video file, it doesn't overpower the spoken voice like other apps do.
It's also very easy to integrate and combine my creations in Canva with VEED - easy file drop and easy to share finished content to my social media platforms.
I use VEED at least a couple times a week and it is because of VEED, I have been able to add efficiency and a systematic workflow for the content I create for my business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I didn't find the automatic function for making clips/shorts very good, so I do this manually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I had a video complete disappear from my account, and I got in touch with a team member on the chat system and they took me step by step on how to recover my video, and we got it recovered! I am forever grateful! The website is also very easy to navigate, and I didn't have to use the website too many times before understanding it. Also, as someone who uses this website frequently, there are so many features that allow me to use it for many of my classes and various assignments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My very important video for an assignment did not save and was a big glitch, and I had to jump through hoops to get it figured out. If I were less computer savvy than I am, I would not have been able to recover that video. Also, only having the help team available during the time they have now can be inconvenient, and responding over chat is much more difficult than a phone call. What's most helpful about veed is that I can edit audios as well as video in the platform. I can also use music that they have there as well as visuals to support whatever I am talking about in my content. It uploads and downloads very quickly. I don't have to worry about an app slowing my computer down because it's hosted on the website as well. It's easy to edit and have different options for the caption look as well as it literally generates all of the subtitles for you. This thing saves me so much time because I used to juggle between different apps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really don't see the least helpful thing about it... because all of it is helpful lol but I can see how someone who is not tech savy at all... maybe initially hesitant and wonder where do I start
But it's still simple enough where you can kind of start and do the same simple steps to make a video... even though you see a lot of other things that you may not know how to use yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Veed makes pro-level video editing ridiculously simple—especially for creators and coaches who don’t want to deal with clunky software. I can resize for any platform in seconds, drop in branded top banners, add b-roll, and time subtitles perfectly—all from my browser. It feels built for marketers who want speed without sacrificing quality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish the text styling was a bit more flexible, especially when mixing font sizes/colors in a single line. I often have to use multiple text boxes to get the look I want. Also, sometimes the export queue gets a little laggy during high-traffic times—but honestly, that’s minor for the value it delivers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the user interface of VEED, its very easy to navigate and use. The features are very helpful in creating short videos for YouTube, TikTok and Reels. You can easily create a video using their text to video prompt. And change stock footages, music and edit captions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I dislike about it is it logs off randomly and doesn't sync and you have to refresh the page multiple times. They also need to improve the AI capability of text to video as some stock footages are irrelevant and had to do so much work to replace the video. I purchase it because I need to edit and create short videos easily as I manage another YouTube page and its time consuming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I edit my videos in Premiere Pro, but I use VEED for my captioning because I much prefer the interface for creating and editing, and I prefer my raw videos to be caption-less in case I want to use on a platform that does automatic subtitling.
I also love VEED's feature of creating coherent clips from a longer form video, which I recently discovered and it is a huge workflow accelerator, and so easy to use.
Finally, I love the eye line correction AI tool. If I find that I glance away from the camera at a bad time, I can use the AI to fix that.
I use it regularly, and it definitely speeds up my workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I haven't found any issues with VEED. The three things I need it for work perfectly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
