While VEED is convenient and fast, it also has a few drawbacks that can be frustrating, especially when I’m working on more complex projects or anything time-sensitive. The biggest issue I’ve run into is reliability: edits don’t always render correctly, and sometimes a video fails during export even after everything looks fine in the editor. When that happens, I end up having to reload, re-render, or in some cases redo parts of the work entirely. Since VEED is browser-based, performance can be inconsistent as well, with lag, freezing, or crashes—particularly on longer videos or when I’m using multiple elements, captions, or effects at the same time. One of the standout features of VEED for me is how quickly it generates closed captions, especially for social media videos. One limitation I've run into is the lack of a batch captioning feature. I often work with multiple videos at once, and having to add captions to each one individually can get pretty time-consuming. I use VEED for instructional videos, training for our workplace team, and promotional TV advertisements. It enables multi-layer media and generates output with the correct FPS specs, resolution, and ratio for each platform. I appreciate having a one-stop place for AI voiceover and editing videos, which helps create a complete product. I like that the learning phase of the program is quick, allowing me to get into creating very fast, which is helpful since I don't have a lot of time to learn a program. Scrubbing the uploaded media to be trimmed or cut to precise areas could be further refined. VEED could increase the AI credits included since it does not always get the output right as per the prompt and that is not the user's fault. VEED could diversify the video, audio and stock image supply; more variety would be good. Not a fan of the magic link to log in being the ONLY option. I appreciate that VEED saves me a lot of time making videos. It seems very professional in its settings and options compared to other apps I've used. I like that they keep adding new features. The AI image generation and b-roll images are quite useful in every video I make, even though sometimes the AI comes up with weird pictures. I generally have to make a few changes, but for the most part, it's pretty good. I also like the stock videos and I'm glad that they are expanding those libraries. The subtitling and editing features are top-notch, being the best I've seen. It's very quick and seamless to edit and remove words or pauses. I enjoy using the filters VEED offers, even though I'm not big on filters, what is there works well for me. I find it really hard to upload multiple videos for editing at once on VEED. It's been like that for a while, which is kind of annoying. You have to upload them one by one, and that takes longer. Given that I'm paying quite a bit for it a year, I feel like it should have all features working well, including batch uploading. Having to upload each video individually is a lot more tedious. I love the visuals in VEED and appreciate the ability to upload a song I’ve written and have it automatically upload the subtitles. I also like that I can edit the subtitles as many times as I like to make them perfect. Once everything is just right, I can download it and then use it to upload to YouTube. Sometimes subtitles can be off, taking a lot of time to manually adjust the timing for each line. Moving videos to adjust timing can be tedious, involving a tricky learning curve. When switching pages, the cursor may unexpectedly jump to the beginning, complicating insertions. Setup is time-consuming, and self-teaching due to lack of training is challenging. I love the ease of VEED. It's very easy to use, with point and click, drop and drag features which make it really user-friendly, especially since I'm not an actual content creator or video editor. I've tried a lot of different programs and I haven't found anything as easy to use as VEED. The price is unbeatable too, considering the amount of stuff you can do. It shapes my videos from boring to those with all kinds of transitions and better color, better audio, and different types of captions. It's just a really great deal for the price and what it can actually do. VEED also offers good explanations and instructions, with plenty of information available on YouTube if I need more help, which ultimately makes my life as a video editor much easier. VEED has been a great tool for me in creating social media content on various topics. I find it simple and quick to understand and use according to my requirements, especially with its categorization based on the type of videos I'm planning to create. Sourcing high-quality, relevant stock footage has become easy, and arranging it on a timeline is seamless. The UI is simple and clean, which makes it easy to get into. I also appreciate that VEED offers the ability to work with real stock footage and supports the generation of AI videos, although with some limitations. Switching from InVideo to VEED has been beneficial because VEED helped me overcome limitations I faced with stock footage, all at the same subscription price. There's a limitation on creating videos longer than approximately 5 minutes. Many times it stops auto-sourcing relevant footages for long scripts or repeats the same footage even when there are more relevant footages available. Repetition of the same footage should be avoided by the system, and it should try harder to use different relevant footages and make proper cuts as per the script. It is so easy to use, the templates are also really helpful. Having tried a number of platforms I found it was excellent value for money and you can produce videos that are really polished and of high quality. But the best thing for me is the captions, I have to correct very little which just makes it so smooth to use. The times I have needed to contact someone for help, the support has been very responsive and helpful.

I use Veed on a nearly daily basis to create all of my video social content and I also recorded an online course with it, because it is more than comparable with Filmora!

The main thing I don't like and to be honest relatively its a small one, I wish the mobile app worked the same as the desktop version. It would be easier to create videos on the go then or rather than having to upload videos to my desktop that have been taken on my phone.

It does have some glitchy annoyances like recording a video and it disappears, and if you have screen share and camera on, it tries to take the captions for both and use your allowance for both even though it is only on one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a solopreneur with very little time to waste, I find VEED intuitive and easy to use. Their AI features enable me to generate polished, professional images and videos in just a few minutes for my own business, and for my clients. I really appreciate the audio cleaning feature and the subtitle option. The new BETA feature, Clip, is a great addition too. It saves me from needing another subscription to create clips from long‑form videos for social media. While it might not match the quality of specialized tools, it gets the job done well.

Veed.io has also recently added AI tools, and I’ve been enjoying them so far. They help speed up my workflow and make common editing tasks easier without feeling complicated.

I also like how easy it is to resize videos for different social media platforms and use overlays to make sure everything stays visible. The beta version of the clips could use some enhancements. The zoom is excessive, and the image quality remains poor even with 4K video.

The audio library, featuring music and sound effects, is decent, but you need to know exactly what you're looking for, like "woosh" or "ding," since there's no explore feature or list of popular sounds.

Uploading or downloading 2-hour 4K videos can take a very long time.
