I use Smartsheet to help keep track of inventory, and it does a great job of keeping track of all my assets. I really like how easy it is to use, and the ability to get online help is always just a click away. I appreciate that Smartsheet is simple and doesn't make understanding it so complicated. The initial setup was really easy too, which has been great.

Smartsheet is very easy to use and to get started. Information can be shared to multiple end users, both internally and externally. It is easy to set permissions such as admin, editor, or read-only. The data is live and everyone can contribute simultaneously. You can also create reports pre-filtered dashboards which give specific information from a larger sheet. Sheet = database Report = dashboard - filtered down only to the data and columns someone needs to see. You can also set up automated emails to share a report or sheet in excel or pdf format to specific email addresses. We find this helpful for giving daily updates to some of our suppliers without giving them access to the online smartsheet itself.

Smartsheets is somewhat like a glorified excel doc but better. One of my favorite things when collaborating on a sheet together you can see who the author of that individual cell is, so if there is incorrect info or somthing wrong it can be addressed immediately
