I sometimes have no access to internet and there is no chance to read my offline emailsl. **What problems is Smartsheet for G Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's very good communication tool to use email exchange with customers and also to plan the meetings using the calendar. ### 2. Baseline User **Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** October 12, 2020 **What do you like best about Smartsheet for G Suite?** I like the real-time, collaboration that is available for a wide variety of use cases - the dashboard view of a project plan along with phase tracking for a process is helping for my team when working with external partners with dependencies. **What do you dislike about Smartsheet for G Suite?** It is a little bit challenging to plan an agile project within the platform. A lot of the provided templates have limitations on the dependency building. Somewhat linear, but that could be due to the complexity of my projects versus a platform issue. Also, the notification of changes within the sheet could use some tweaking. The way we work with our client on the smartsheet, it doesn't allow for custom notifications and so when the client puts in an update, we are either not aware until we open the sheet, or they send a separate email notify us. **What problems is Smartsheet for G Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?** Real time, cross department AND cross company collaboration on working through a process that is quick (within minutes) and jumps between parties and departments. ### 4. Dashboard capability has been favoritely accepted at our company due to its intuitive feel. **What do you dislike about Smartsheet for G Suite?** Having experience in Excel and other database applications, allows me to examine SSheet (spreadsheet) features and become disappointed with the lack of similar capabilities. There are crucial features that I realize is in the back-burner for Ssheet and we do not receive any inclination of when and how likely the feature will be implemented. I wish they would provide an expected time frame estimate for each feature. **Recommendations to others considering Smartsheet for G Suite:** If you frequently are challenged with managing large number of tasks in an efficient manner then I highly recommend SSheet. Note the amount of time saved and the relief of the stress justifies the monthly cost of having Smartsheet. If you decide on using SSheet, then spend the time upfront to end up with an efficient end product versus trying to rush into building something and later having to go back after having reluctant users. **What problems is Smartsheet for G Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have an intake process for legal cases where the tasks are repeated for each case. So with a template, I was able to have various administrative staff start off with a template and fill in the unique information and save it. With this process in place, we are able to manage all tasks simultaneously and have each assignee view all of his case tasks and close them out very efficiently. Several dashboards have been provided to monitor and manage all cases to ensure we closely pay attention to schedule and budget. ### 5. Integration with Google Docs makes it easier to manage. Its diversity of templates makes it easy to customize your projects and tasks to be executed. On the other hand it allows me to work together with my team and keep up to date with the constant updates. **What do you dislike about Smartsheet for G Suite?** One negative thing I could mention is that if there are several people working on the same file or project, some updates tend to get lost. This happens rarely **Recommendations to others considering Smartsheet for G Suite:** It is a robust content product, it is very useful and we can have a better management regarding our tasks. We can use it on any device and anywhere. I recommend using it for small and medium businesses. **What problems is Smartsheet for G Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?** It allows us to have a specific follow-up of our pending projects. We try to work together as well as possible thanks to the monitoring strategies that we can maintain. We had fewer mistakes when executing tasks. ### 6. It's no fault of the product but that of the Managers.
