The overall implementation for our team went well, as it is a straightforward view of timecards and worklists. Our team worked in the system daily. **What do you dislike about Resource Management by Smartsheet?** Updating schedules or worklists is extremely tedious with the limited copy/paste functionality, and there is no ability to bulk update dates or push dates out based on dependencies. For projects that had lengthy worklists, one delay requires manual adjustment of all of the remaining tasks that are scheduled which became nearly impossible to manage. The customer support was generally responsive to an inquiry but largely unhelpful, and unable to assist with issues that arose. The system was a bit glitchy overall, too, sometimes creating duplicate scheduled tasks or not registering a task in someone's timecard, which could easily ruin someone's schedule. The projects are searchable and work with just partial names if you can't figure out exactly what it's called. **What do you dislike about Resource Management by Smartsheet?** I dislike that I don't have a static timesheet and that the timer is not great to use. Time after one week is locked off for users which can really impact those that work nights or non-standard shifts. Data downloads into the wrong field and is therefore unreliable. If data is entered into the project phase code field it downloads to the project code field. My company builds projects in Smartsheet but tracks hours using Resource Management. For our purposes, we need to track usage by different phases of the project; this lack of full integration requires additional work on my end by generating reports in Resource Management and then updating our Smartsheets weekly. Smartsheet allows for a list of customizable workspaces, projects and services. Each selection will take you to a different Smartsheet, similar to an excel file. Finding the right project/service may be easier to find depending on how it is set up by the user. I wish the menu on the left would list the spreadsheets needed daily. No usable security levels, every user sees every project and every user. Cannot create filtered views to share only that specific view for a user group Subcontractor view cannot edit, so not suitable for managing their projects licenced user will see all data, even if confidential (eg: employee price card) so project managers can see each others costs and every employee cost, even if they are not in their project, and that is nonsense I have contacted support for solution, and 7 months and several meetings were not enough to provide any solution or even a demo of a possible solution The support didn't had access to their admin site on their own sandbox. When I asked for a technical support they connected me with a sale representative without proper technical knowledge. Integrating with 10kft is key as it allows for better data analysis and continuous improvement processes to flow smoothly throughout the business. **What do you dislike about Resource Management by Smartsheet?** 10kft relies on a very disciplined team managing the system and processes. It doesn’t provide a workflow or framework, so setting it up correctly and successfully requires investing time and effort into building a process around it and making sure that it’s followed to the letter. It also helps forecasting work and keeping an organized and dynamic project portfolio, that includes resource usage and provides tools and data to make early hiring decisions. It also helps maintain a skill set directory and use the team most efficiently. 10kft also allows for data querying through it’s API, which allows for data analytics across multiple systems: for example, you can cross reference your sales pipeline data with your current team and then figure out exactly who needs to be hired and when they need to be hired to maximize utilization rate and efficiency. ### 49.
