TL:DR - The features you get aren't worth the price, tool is not as sophisticated as demandtools.Lots of capital is required to have features equivalent to competitors. Look into a demandtools distribution engine or lean data combo. Don't make my mistake!

Likewise, it excels at whittling down duplicates, to leave just the good, reliable, consistent contact information our team will have access to. The problem with ZoomInfo Operations however is that when we upload large datasets, it can sometimes take significantly longer to process and this means we don’t always receive the most recent data. In addition, the user interface isn’t as intuitive as I’d like, and it’s takes a little bit to get used to using the platform. I am a big fan of how ZoomInfo Operations helps to easily and in sync enrich leads with our CRM. We can save ourselves time chasing invalid leads if all our contact and company information is accurate and up to date. Another great plus point is all of the detailed segmentation options, allowing us to target specific audiences. Zoominfo Operations is so inconsistent with some of the data points, especially smaller companies. It sometimes results in wasted effort on outreach when the information isn’t completely accurate. Another problem is the cost, which can feel steep for those using the service with smaller teams or businesses. ZoomInfo Operations (aka RingLead) is easy to use, and has proven to be a very powerful and reliable tool for us. We use it to keep our Salesforce data up-to-date with the right Owners, right Personas and multiple other custom fields that help make Salesforce reports and dashboards actionable. There appears to be no limit to how many scheduled tasks you can have performed hourly, daily, multiple days per week, etc. I cannot imagine how much additional time and effort my team and I would have to spend if we weren't able to leverage the robust functionality from ZoomInfo Operations.
I was initially intimidated by the new interface that came out a few years ago, but the Customer Support team did a great job to make implementation a breeze. We ended the implementation phase with automated tasks scheduled and running, and those were a great reference point as we continued to build new ones going forward. I do wish that ZoomInfo Operations was aligned more perfectly with new Salesforce releases. For example, Salesforce has recently enabled Accounts to be added to Campaigns as Campaign Members, without any Contact record also associated. We use that for our ABM efforts, but ZoomInfo Operations doesn't allow us to add Accounts to Campaigns - it only allows Leads and Contacts to be added to Campaigns. My favorite feture of ZoomInfo is their "Intent" program. This allows me to see the buying intent of marketing directors in my sales territory. I can see how strong their "signal" of buying is, what type of products they make be looking for (ex. social media management, digital advertising) and then you can see where they were searching.
