Yotpo's offerings are the best on the market, bar none. Their team is deep and widely staffed, and the implementation process is very structured. Plus, our customers are loving it. I love the interconnectivity of the whole system as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Likely due to Yotpo's acquisition strategy to expand their offering of platforms, the experience with Yotpo can be awkward at times. The tools load tons of unused and irrelevant CSS and JavaScript onto our pages, causing slowdowns. We seem to stumble on a new bug within the system each day — one of which resulted in us texting customers who had not subscribed to texts. Lastly, their structured implementation strategy left us bending to their needs rather than feeling like we could get the system to do what we needed. This left the bulk of the work as a "phase 2" with their CSMs, who seemed surprised the launch teams pushed us off on them at the stage we were at.
Overall, everyone we've worked with has been good, but the overall siloing of the experience just left us feeling growing pains. I wish we had just one dedicated rep who helped with all of it.
Oh, and it's expensive. I would not have gone with Yotpo if we were not utilizing multiple services from their offering. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We added the SMS, UGC, loyalty, and reviews widgets to our site and not only are they easy to use, but the customer success team is fantastic at walking you through any questions you might have. We're a really small team, so having that constant support made a world of a difference for us. Plus, it's been months since we launched these programs but we still meet regularly with their team to talk optimizations and how to reach our goals. I couldn't ask for more. The on-site customizations are pretty limited unless you have a dedicated member of your team who is able to edit with CSS. But this is so small in the grand scheme of things, and I find that their pre-made designs are really intuitive and easy for customers to understand right off the bat. Fairly easy integration at first. General review syndication works as it should. After purchase review emails are sent out, as scheduled. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Platform is stuck in time. Lack of new features and issues that existed 3, 4 or 5 years ago never get fixed or addressed, as I expected they would be. For instance, if you have syndication set up, it will send Questions (from Q&A) to every syndicated Help Desk. So our customer service gets the same Question emailed to them 5 or 6 times. If they answer from one of the syndicated Question emails, it goes nowhere, does not get displayed and serves 0 purpose. Their support can't even clarify why their system sends this multiple times.
Also, if a customer purchases, for instance, 3 products and we send a review request for Product A but they write a review for Product B, I cannot change the review and make it available for Product B. I would have to download the entire database of reviews, change it in the CSV file and re-import it. Not worth the time, but very frustrating that we are leaving reviews not published because of a simple user error that should be able to be corrected with a couple clicks of my mouse. Customer support is spotty, at best.
Our plugin version also apparently is old and Yotpo has not even been able to verify what trigger is used in our installation for sending out the review request. We've had lots of reports of customers getting review requests before they receive their shipment. Not good when they can't even tell you with certainty what their system is doing. Beyond frustrating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Yotpo is makes it easy to use reviews across all channels. From our website to emails to social, Yotpo helps us leverage customer reviews to the max. It's integration is simple and the dashboard is easy to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Because of the amount of data being presented on screen, it can at times load a bit slow. So, a good internet connection would be my recommendation. I wish there was more ability to customize the style of review emails without paying extra. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We use Yotpo for customer reviews, loyalty, referrals and SMS marketing. All services integrate seamlessly together and we are able to monitor and track our customer's experience in one place Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Their data and analytics could be improved. Their reports can take while to load and there would be better quality of analytics Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Yotpo has been good. BUT where they have shined is customer support. Going above and beyond when needed to help make things happen. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would love if we could do more within itself with data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy to use, full-service platform. The features are robust and the opportunities to scale and optimize are virtually endless. Compared to similar tools like Stamped, Yotpo's product offering is greater and in my experience, more reliable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The review request emails require some knowledge of CSS (or access to a developer) to make them look & feel on brand. Also, there were a few enhancements that were buggy- for example, the Yotpo developers added an anchor link so that users would be brought to the "Leave a Review" section of our product pages, but this anchor link only worked on desktop and Android devices, not iOS. Its important for us to get reviews on our website and from customers. Is yotpo a better solution than others? Not sure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The cost for both reviews and loyalty is high. We just learned about stamped.io and other platforms that do the same and cost a fraction of the price. Will probably switch over to something more affordable. Since we've worked with them, they've had a lot of internal changes. We'd get a new CSM or account manager every 6 months or so, maybe less. It seemed like there were either a lot of internal org shifts or people quit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The reviews and Loyalty program are super easy to install and work within your specific platform. It is easy for your staff to approve and reach out to customers about their reviews and comment about their specific ones. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We cannot use the SMS platform because of our restricted product space we are in. The platform is pretty expensive more small business and it would be good to have a cheaper option with good functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I appreciate the synergies between the yotpo programs, they create holistic experience for community we are working to build. The reviews, loyalty and UGC all separately yet together create many different touch points that keep our community engaged. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I can't say that there is a feature I dislike, at the moment. We are about 3 months in to using all of the features collectively. I'll circle back in another few months with an update. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
