What do you like best about Yext?

I use Yext to monitor all of our Map/Directory listings for our 150+ locations, and we consider it essential software. I appreciate that Yext allows us to standardize and keep track of our listings efficiently. What I like most is the speed; I can bring a new branch online within the same day. The Sync functionality is particularly valuable since it allows me to push corrections or updates within minutes. Within the Listings service, I have zero complaints as everything works great. Even though I wasn't there for the initial setup, I found it easy to learn using the original person's notes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Yext?

We test piloted a couple other Yext services but they ended up not being the right price or fit for us. Specifically, we thought the Reviews tracking service was expensive. What do you like best about Yext?

I find Yext incredibly convenient and straightforward to use. It’s a big time-saver for me as it updates all my listings at once, so I only have to enter the data once. What do you dislike about Yext?

We have trouble getting a response from our sales support team in a timely manner. We have also had repeated support issues that have taken longer than acceptable to fix. The price is also high considering the lack of direct support we have received during the course of our relationship with Yext. What do you like best about Yext?

I appreciate that Yext is one of the strongest and oldest vendors in the business, with a hospitality publisher network that rivals most competitors. It's also great to receive close support from our Customer Success Manager, managed services, and support team. The hotel-focused integrations ensure our properties' amenities, policies, and brand content are distributed accurately, reducing gaps between brand intent and guest experience. What do you dislike about Yext?

In my opinion, the Yext platform and reporting technology could use modernization. When previewing other vendors, the user interface was often more advanced than Yext's platform and simplified the daily tasks of SEO Managers. What do you like best about Yext?

I like the customer service at Yext. The customer service team is very prompt and easy to work with. Whenever I have a problem, even if it's not directly related to Yext but maybe connected to Google, the Yext team is always happy to jump in, help, and give me a recommendation on how to fix it. Additionally, I find that using templates is very helpful. Once you have a proper template set up, populating all of the information is very straightforward and doesn't take much time. What do you dislike about Yext?

I don't wanna say that this doesn't work well for me. I just don't prefer to use it. And that is reviews. I use reviews elsewhere. I use a platform called Podium. What do you like best about Yext?

I love the notifications and reports Yext provides. The enhanced help desk is a lifesaver, and the onboarding and implementation team were terrific. Keeping track of reviews, sentiment, and complaints is so much easier now. I like the balance between control and automation. The initial setup was a breeze, and our main contact before implementation, Micah, was fantastic and really sells the company just by being a great guy. What do you dislike about Yext?

I still find building my own reports tricky. A notification or reports wizard would do a lot. Sometimes I wish I knew more about how I can use new Yext features. I like that I can make mass changes across all of our entities and all of our shops in a few quick clicks rather than going into each individual profile separately. I really like how Yext allows us to push updates to multiple platforms and have access to all our listings in one place. The bulk edits feature is great, and the ability to do bulk uploads and schedule updates for future dates saves a lot of time. It's a very easy tool to use, and having the reviews done with AI assistance also saves a lot of time. What do you like best about Yext?

I love how Yext makes it easy to reply to reviews from different social platforms like Google Business, BBB, and Yelp. The AI software is great at reviewing the verbiage from the initial participant and crafting a dynamic response while also informing us where the review originated and who it is from. I really enjoy the generation feature, where I can generate a link to direct customers or participants to provide feedback. What do you dislike about Yext?
