Customer support, customer support, customer support — or in Yext’s case, the total lack of it. I’ve worked in marketing for over a decade, and I have never encountered customer service this bad — not even close.
It’s not just slow… it’s nonexistent. Account managers? Ghosts. Support tickets? Black hole. Follow-up? Forget about it. Emails are ignored, escalations go nowhere, and you’re left completely in the dark when you need help the most.
We’ve been a Yext customer for 3 years — far too long. This is absolutely our final year, and I would strongly caution anyone considering them: Don’t make the same mistake we did. When something goes wrong (and it will), you’ll be completely on your own. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Everything I need to manage my company's location listings is in one place. With one click, Yext automatically updates my company's location listings across dozens of sites, freeing up what would otherwise be countless hours of staff time for our hundreds of locations. Bulk editing is helpful with changes, whether big or small. Online reviews can be easily responded to and reported on. The Yext team is also very kind, helpful, and quick to respond. The analytics portion of the platform can be confusing to set up for those of us who are not analysts. Due to Yelp's privacy settings, Yext is unable to export the message section of Yelp reviews. Stephanie Yoon, our brand manager at Yext is extremely responsive and helpful. I have made mistakes several times causing errors and she has always helped me navigate how to fix it. We have repeatedly asked for how to improve our usage while being understaffed and the team has continiously made sugggestions, helped us with proof of concept and shown us what it would look like long term.

it is hard to quickly see at a glance the status accross multiple platforms. I often have to look at 4+ pages to see what hours are being displayed in out entity, apple, google, closures, etc.
I wish there was a way to be able to see how google geolocates an addres. Our delivery service frequently has problems with how google geolocates an address and part of that seems to be based on where we put the driving direction pin on the entity. When google does not recognize an address because it is brand new construction, the driving directions often end up incorrect because of how google geolocation sets where the store is located for driving directions. What I don't like is how long it take for information to integrate from different platforms. I know that's not at the fault of Yext but it can take weeks for listings to go from pending to synced. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We transitioned from another listing and review generation platform and are very happy with Yext. After the initial implementation, we are enjoying the platform all the tools that it offer us for all of our locations and professionals. Support team is easy to get ahold via email and can usually resolve an issue quickly, or at least provide ETA from the publishers' side. Initial implementation took longer than expect, and there were promised and implicit features that turned out needed additional work or not readily available.
