What do you dislike about Workbooks?

Very slightly clunky UI but improving... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Workbooks:

I would recommend Workbooks to medium-sized companies without pre-existing highly technical CRM professionals, but who want to initiate a CRM journey. The system is easy for a layperson to administrate without a definitive need for separate sandbox/dev/live environments to achieve the initial build and ongoing configurations. The inclusion of the direct Workbooks Support team in the product package and the simplistic configuration functionality negates the need for additional external consultative support; providing a much more cost-effective and straightforward CRM solution directly in your control.

The system UI is simple, and can therefore seem slightly clunky at times during general usage and reporting. Nevertheless, their intent toward usability shows in their latest release, which has focused on improving intuitiveness in the system's look and feel and reducing the number of clicks.

In my experience so far, Workbooks are an approachable, helpful and solid company. They have an already good, easy to configure CRM solution and lots of aspiration and ambition to improve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The interface itself is easy to configure and I love the fact that whatever is recorded is reportable ensuring you have information at your fingertips. This suits all areas of our business from sales and marketing through to how we service our clients. The support team are knowledgeable and a great resource for any issues you may have and they provide an excellent service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Workbooks?

The flexibility of the product is great and means you don't have to contact Workbooks everytime you want to make a change. Things can be changed in realtime which is a key driver when getting buy-in from other people within the firm when they see how quickly things can change to make their lives easier its a win-win. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workbooks?

Sometimes the sync for certain products like Wolters Kluwer can be problematic but this is never normally at the workbooks end, and the positive is that workbooks and third party can work together with you to fix any issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Workbooks:

What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?

Understanding and visualisation of our pipeline and how we are doing against targets across the business is far better. We also now have a clearer picture of the quality of data we hold and the ability to keep it up to date is much easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Workbooks?

What I like most is that there is a lot of care put into building this system and its usability.

With every new version, there are small improvements that make the experience easier to administrate and easy for the users.

I like how small details are dealt with and the high quality of the helpdesk when we need them to sort things out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workbooks?

I find that the mail tracking is a bit clunky if you use an external mail client. Mail should be tracked at the cloud service level (for example, 365) with a central facility to apply inbox rules instead of relying on the rules in the mail client itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Workbooks solving and how is that benefiting you?

Workbooks allow us to easily access all the data just by doing a simple search,

it also saves us a load of manual data entry action. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Not as easy to amend layouts as other CRMs - have to use 3rd parties to make changes that I should be able to do myself

Linking to the preferred mailing system (spotler) has proved extremely difficult

having to export data in order to analysis it better which should be simply done in the system but takes too much development time to do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
