Whimsical Pros and Cons

I don't think they have any dislike things as they provide everything and anything that one would want to have and its easy for mind mapping any idea, thoughts or project anything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Feature-rich!! It comes with most of the needed features, and more importantly, a set of shortcuts, boosting productivity. The connector works for me most of the time, without having the need to tune the position and padding. The set of colors and styles provided is neat fit my needs most of the time.

Whimsical is good product to use in the wireframe section but there should be an improvement in the following things:

1. Paid version amount is very high so small business people can't effort it.

The tools and processes for building out charts, workflows, and more are some of the best I've seen. They don't require you to draw out a separate piece of some large design/item you're drawing. The click and drag/drop options are amazing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Whimsical might be my favorite product. I'm a very average designer, but needed a tool to create wireframes for an app my co-founder and I are working on, and Whimscial made it effortless to put together screens that portrayed my vision, without getting in my way with a bunch of confusing tools and menus. The product is designed with speed in mind, and as a result, it makes my short design/brainstorming sessions really efficient, which I am thankful for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I wish I could have click-through prototypes (similar to Balsamiq), so that I could have some more guided user testing sessions, but even still I prefer it to tools like Balsamiq. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Whimsical is a great tool for visual collaboration, but it falls short in some areas. The lack of a dark mode is a miss, as many users find it easier on the eyes when working in low-light environments. Additionally, the lack of custom colors or color palettes makes it difficult to match company branding. The charges can also be steep for small organizations. Lastly, the limit of 500 items is too low and can be restrictive for larger projects.
