Whimsical elements often exhibit unique aesthetics that deviate from the norm. Their quirky, imaginative, and whimsical designs can be visually appealing, capturing attention and eliciting curiosity. Using a tool with whimsical features can make the experience more enjoyable, light-hearted, and entertaining. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't think they have any dislike things as they provide everything and anything that one would want to have and its easy for mind mapping any idea, thoughts or project anything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Feature-rich!! It comes with most of the needed features, and more importantly, a set of shortcuts, boosting productivity. The connector works for me most of the time, without having the need to tune the position and padding. The set of colors and styles provided is neat fit my needs most of the time.
Have been using many other tools, both the well-knowns like Miro and Milanote, and emerging like Wallings and Eraser, the experience for Whimsical so far is excellent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- most-wanted features: to have the AWS, GCP and other tech icons out of the box. Just type "/" and "S3" for S3 icons, and even better, with a few variants of style
- Project management features are limited, compared with other tools, like Wallings and Milanote. Would love to convert the subscription to Whimsical, if with more feature highlights on project management
- more control on the colors and styles Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It provides a great solution for the designer, business analyst, and employee who depends on the wireframe, design. Whimsical is the easy-to-use product where drag and drop functionality is most favorable and easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Whimsical is good product to use in the wireframe section but there should be an improvement in the following things:
1. Paid version amount is very high so small business people can't effort it.
2.Prototype is not proper Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The best aspect of Whimsical is its intuitive interface and ease of use, facilitating smooth project planning and collaboration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Whimsical could improve by expanding its feature set to cater to a broader range of project needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The tools and processes for building out charts, workflows, and more are some of the best I've seen. They don't require you to draw out a separate piece of some large design/item you're drawing. The click and drag/drop options are amazing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Personally, I dislike the UI and some of the exporting features. It's often difficult to pinpoint or highlight individual items I want to export. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This is very useful for visualizing ideas and organizing everything in your mind at the beginning of a project. I use it for mind mapping and visualizing things like flow of work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish it was a bit more customizable regarding the colors and fonts of Whimsical. I do like to be able to make themes for my mind maps and it is not as easy to do that with the lack of colors and fonts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

+Super intuitive
+ Lots of components, icons, and modes to choose from.
+ Templates to help with team brainstorming, or move you past a creative block
+ Well-optimized for Chrome, Firefox, and Safari
+ Easily sharable wireframes, easy to collaborate with your team
+ AI feature is nascent-stage, but shows tons of promise Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
-The 500-component limit is enough to get a few wireframes going but is troublesome when you're trying to work with multiple ideas. I understand the idea of PLG to help users upgrade, but a 750 limit would be helpful.

Whimsical might be my favorite product. I'm a very average designer, but needed a tool to create wireframes for an app my co-founder and I are working on, and Whimscial made it effortless to put together screens that portrayed my vision, without getting in my way with a bunch of confusing tools and menus. The product is designed with speed in mind, and as a result, it makes my short design/brainstorming sessions really efficient, which I am thankful for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish I could have click-through prototypes (similar to Balsamiq), so that I could have some more guided user testing sessions, but even still I prefer it to tools like Balsamiq. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I recently started using Whimsical and I am blown away by its features. The user-friendly interface makes it so easy to use and the collaboration features make it a great tool for teamwork. The variety of customisable templates adds to its versatility and the ability to import and export multiple files is a game-changer. I highly recommend Whimsical for anyone looking for a comprehensive and user-friendly solution for their visual collaboration needs Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Whimsical is a great tool for visual collaboration, but it falls short in some areas. The lack of a dark mode is a miss, as many users find it easier on the eyes when working in low-light environments. Additionally, the lack of custom colors or color palettes makes it difficult to match company branding. The charges can also be steep for small organizations. Lastly, the limit of 500 items is too low and can be restrictive for larger projects. Despite these shortcomings, I still recommend Whimsical for its user-friendly interface and collaboration features Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Whimsical supports the seamless sharing and exporting of roadmaps. The ability to attach links directly within the roadmaps is quite impressive and helps me a lot Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We can't attach multiple links to a single node in the roadmap only one link is being attached to the node Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
