Hero By Vivun gives me a great view in the opportunities my team is working. Allows me to understand where my team is spending their time and its very easy to use and very efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hero by Vivun was brought into the company in an overall effort to expand visibility from field activity. The data that we can aggregate from Hero allows for the data to serve as a strategic source for product direction and informs various other departments through the company. Additional benefits included cleaner aggregation of data between departments (Marketing, CS, etc), an enhanced model to request support from external parties in the company, and a non-intrusive model to gather insights into where SE resourcing is being utilized.
Beyond the product itself, their team has been incredible to work with. The product team has made themselves available to discuss newly implemented features and to hear real-world feedback. Their Customer Success team has been top-notch. They are obsessed with removing any obstacles in the way of our success. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are aspects of the Hero platform that show immaturity, but this is the bain of all start-up software. They have been very welcome to feedback, and I have seen near-immediate turnaround in resolution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The thing that I like most about Vivun and their product line is that it's all purpose built specifically with Sales Engineers as the target audience. They get us, and they build their products for us - it's perfect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I give Vivun credit for being one of the first presales tools in the market. But being the first does not mean that it is the best. So be careful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have been in presales and sales engineering since 1999, worked with various tech companies ranging from a few employees to thousands and scaled presales organizations of up to 200 people. In my experience of working with vendors I have never experienced such a high level of poor customer management and unprofessionalism. Despite our company being one of the Vivun early adopters, my presales team did not see value in their product that justified renewing our initial subscription. The manner in which Vivun behaved with us to show value was disappointing and unprofessional. Their product’s overdependence on SalesForce introduces a poor user experience and system rigidity. Their dashboards are okay but nothing revolutionary. And we saw little value in their AI/ML scoring.
As the presales tool market is evolving we are now evaluating other commercial options, which show a lot more promise on how they can add value to our presales team and use cases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We are actively growing our presales team and have loved the framework that Hero provides us to track not only activities on each opportunity but also track product gaps to share with our product management team. It is a one-stop location that gives us information about all of our presales activities. In the past, this information was all held in disparate systems and/or was legacy knowledge held by individuals. Hero allows us to not only improve the transparency of that information by tracking it but then also report out on the impacts of that data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There isn't much to dislike about this product. Most of our wish list items are already in development. We did have a little bit of difficulty working through the setup of the software because we are a new team to presales, but our implementation consultant did a fantastic job of walking us through it. Super easy setup. Out-of-the-box insights into SE activities, performance and workload. Yeah, you could theoretically cobble this together with pure Salesforce but it'd be an ugly beast that you'd have to then maintain.. Hero does this OOTB. The UX, while functional, seems like it was built by engineers who might not be the most UX-oriented, and it could use a bit of polish. There are some "quirks" in the UI but no deal-breakers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Vivun is an excellent product when it comes to being in the role of a Sales Engineer. It allows us to manage our pipeline in every aspect seamlessly. The most important feature to me personally is being able to write product/opportunity gaps that in turn, are shared with our Product team to help influence roadmap decisions.
