VEED is a great platform for independent creators. It has several nice features at a price that is realistic. From short video production to adding effects to projects VEED enables you to open doors that other platforms can not. It does have its limitations but the benefits far out way them. I'm a independent musician and social creator, so affordable products are a must. Other software products may have more features but they come with a price tag that is unrealistic for the average creator. VEED is far above others and in my opinion very smart to offer a well rounded platform that almost anyone can afford to create with. It may be limited in actual generative areas but the platform itself offers a wide range of options for almost any independent creator that is on a budget. I very highly recommend this product. VEED is a solid platform but it does have it's limitations. If your using stock video clips to create with you will find yourself somewhat limited in your efforts. The server traffic at peak hours can also interrupt a productive work flow schedule but this is minor for the most part. The greatest downfall is if you need anything longer than 5 minutes to be generated using AI text to speech your going to have real problems. The character limitations are almost as bad as other platforms. I mean you can burn through 20,000 characters in a couple paragraphs. This is a serious problem that VEED and other creators have overlooked and seem to be compounding instead of resolving. As a creator I need a platform like VEED that is not credit based so I can have a high production rate for finished projects. The platform must have an affordable Monthly or Annual fee structure or it puts me and other content creators like me. out of business. I hope in the future VEED will become a leader in regards to these issues, if they do we will have a long partnership. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Offering more flexibility within the Lite plan would make VEED even more attractive to budget-conscious users and provide a smoother upgrade path to the paid plans. The interface is easy to use, there are plenty of options for video clips, the AI voices are not as robotic as some, easy to send the video to the socials, and implementing the text to video works well. The only complaint I have so far is that I signed up for the $24 a month subscription and as I hit pay it changed to $48 a month. I did not agree to this and I've put in a statement of concern to customer service. I’m really happy that a platform like Veed Video Maker exists—it’s user-friendly and makes video creation so much easier! I truly enjoy using it and appreciate its wide range of features.

However, for future updates, I would love to see more options when it comes to voice selections, especially children’s voices and an extended variety of languages. Additionally, having more creative video effects would be amazing. For example, I’d love the ability to create magical videos, similar to scenes from Harry Potter, where a talking head could appear from a letter or other fun, interactive effects.

I rarely review products, especially SaaS tools I use, but VEED has been exceptional.

The UI is very easy to navigate. It has all the tools I need to create content efficiently, and all the included tools work very well. Coming from another video editor that was overwhelming with menus and features, I've been grateful for how easy it's been to integrate VEED into my workflow. The AI features they are rolling out show their continued investment in the service and makes me excited for VEED's future.

As much as I enjoy using VEED for its user-friendliness, it sometimes falls short in the customization department for more sophisticated editing needs. The auto-subtitle feature, although a significant time-saver, isn't flawless and occasionally requires manual adjustments. I often find the limitations of the free version, such as watermarks and export options, nudging me toward a paid subscription. Additionally, the need for a stable internet connection for cloud-based editing limits where and when I can use the platform. Despite these issues, I find myself frequently returning to VEED due to its convenience and ease of integration into my workflow. Either the software has gotten better with time, or my use has gotten better with time, but I really enjoy using VEED for all my audio files.

I record meditations, and have tried multiple different audio software programs for editing, but because I'm using a soft tone, they often cut out parts of my words. VEED cleans up the audio, removes background noises, and levels the audio without eliminating key parts of teh recording. It's the best I've found and I won't publish an audio without running it through VEED first. I'm also now using it to add in background music. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the ease of creating dynamic subtitles for my language-learning videos. I have tried other platforms, but nothing compares to VEED.

The collaboration tools are great as well. I added a team member who can access the software under my account and create videos for me. These videos are found in her workspace on my desktop. I review them and make comments for further edits. It so slick.

I have encountered some frustrating glitches when adjusting subtitles and editing videos. If you plan to do a lot of video editing, VEED is not your program. It can be tricky to insert and rearrange video clips within a project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like how I can edit overlays that I don't have the original file to i've gotten a bunch of work where I pay people to do work for me and I would like to make some small edits on it and I can't because either I don't have the software or I don't have the original file or you know I don't have the knowledge to take on that task, but with VEED I just got done editing overlays that have been wanting to edit for years to improve a certain aspect that the original creator, or designer didn't take into consideration or missed. I mean and doing the edits didn't even bring any stress either it was awesome because you had to download any software on your computer all you have to do is go to the website sign in it saves all your projects that you've worked on the workflow is Immaculate and there's no lag because you don't have to bug down your pc you don't have to bug down your pc installing software that you're only going to use every once in a while or every other day you just bookmark the site go to it and you're on definitely a site a content creator has to check out for sure thank you VEED for helping me make what I thought was impossible to to do without spending more money paying someine to make my edits possible now I can do it myself for a fraction of tghe cost using your interactive Website to modify WEBM, MP4, & any other file type🙏 Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I didn't like how the website lags not lags I didn't like how the payment area times out in the server for some reason it took me to have to close the window a couple times and go back and refresh because they kept saying server disconnected or something like that when I meant to make payment payment needs to be a little bit more smoother Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Found VEED on Google while searching for a way to add subtitles to some videos. This software is so easy to use and in literally my first video the ease of integration of subtitles, add a title, and create a whole karaoke type video in under an about 20 minutes. I love this software and so glad I found it. It's easy to learn, user friendly no complicated at all, and other then a little pricey it is everything I need to create my videos and edit them the way I want. I do use it almost weekly and implementing features is quick. I do wish it had more stock backgrounds available, but other then that it is an amazing program.
