As I write this review on the 1st day of June 2024, Veed has been regularly introducing new tools and features that take my video editing not a step, but a leap further.
Here's an example. The last video I edited a few days ago, I wanted to try out their 'Eye Contact' tool, so I recorded the complete video while reading the script which was placed on the left side of the camera facing me. You can see the outcome in the video that was released on my YouTube channel on May 25th, 2024.
The other tool that I use frequently is the 'Clean Audio' feature. Even if your the audio in your recordings is of high quality, I recommend you to try out enhancing the quality even further by trying this out. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you can simply revert it back by turning it OFF for that section of your recording.
Their 'Resizing' option for all other social media platforms is simply amazing and saves me loads of time. I had a paid version of OpusClip which I discontinued using, mainly because I do not have much control over the final outcome of the shorts it produces. They made some upgrades to OpusClip over a period, but it's again too complicated for me to handle and control.
Let me be very specific and to the point if you are reading this review while stilll not sure which editing software to get - I would not have chosen to renew my Pro-subscription for the second year if I thought it was not worth it. The simplicity of managing 'seemingly' difficult tasks for a below-average 'tech-savvy' senior citizens like majorly influenced my decision to stick with Veed. I have tried my hand at a few others, but Veed still remains my first choice.
I am even unable to get a review text from any AI tool to write this review, which I am typing manually word by word.
To top it all, their customer support is on hand to look into issues 24/7/365. I am not sure what else would you expect from any software? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have had some issues recently while using their 'Background Removal', and a few times with the 'Green Screen' tool, which appears to have diappeared from my reel if I leave my editing over night and come back to use it the next day. The way to get over it is to either refresh my browser or log-out and sign-in again, and it comes back. These are a few technical areas that they neeed to address.
The newly introduced 'Voice Translation' into other languages also needs enhancements as I yet didn't find the quality good enough to use for publishing the videos on my channel.

As much as I enjoy using VEED for its user-friendliness, it sometimes falls short in the customization department for more sophisticated editing needs. The auto-subtitle feature, although a significant time-saver, isn't flawless and occasionally requires manual adjustments. I often find the limitations of the free version, such as watermarks and export options, nudging me toward a paid subscription. Additionally, the need for a stable internet connection for cloud-based editing limits where and when I can use the platform. Despite these issues, I find myself frequently returning to VEED due to its convenience and ease of integration into my workflow. Either the software has gotten better with time, or my use has gotten better with time, but I really enjoy using VEED for all my audio files.
I record meditations, and have tried multiple different audio software programs for editing, but because I'm using a soft tone, they often cut out parts of my words. VEED cleans up the audio, removes background noises, and levels the audio without eliminating key parts of teh recording. It's the best I've found and I won't publish an audio without running it through VEED first. I'm also now using it to add in background music. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like how I can edit overlays that I don't have the original file to i've gotten a bunch of work where I pay people to do work for me and I would like to make some small edits on it and I can't because either I don't have the software or I don't have the original file or you know I don't have the knowledge to take on that task, but with VEED I just got done editing overlays that have been wanting to edit for years to improve a certain aspect that the original creator, or designer didn't take into consideration or missed. I mean and doing the edits didn't even bring any stress either it was awesome because you had to download any software on your computer all you have to do is go to the website sign in it saves all your projects that you've worked on the workflow is Immaculate and there's no lag because you don't have to bug down your pc you don't have to bug down your pc installing software that you're only going to use every once in a while or every other day you just bookmark the site go to it and you're on definitely a site a content creator has to check out for sure thank you VEED for helping me make what I thought was impossible to to do without spending more money paying someine to make my edits possible now I can do it myself for a fraction of tghe cost using your interactive Website to modify WEBM, MP4, & any other file type🙏 Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I didn't like how the website lags not lags I didn't like how the payment area times out in the server for some reason it took me to have to close the window a couple times and go back and refresh because they kept saying server disconnected or something like that when I meant to make payment payment needs to be a little bit more smoother Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Found VEED on Google while searching for a way to add subtitles to some videos. This software is so easy to use and in literally my first video the ease of integration of subtitles, add a title, and create a whole karaoke type video in under an about 20 minutes. I love this software and so glad I found it. It's easy to learn, user friendly no complicated at all, and other then a little pricey it is everything I need to create my videos and edit them the way I want. I do use it almost weekly and implementing features is quick. I do wish it had more stock backgrounds available, but other then that it is an amazing program. Ability to create the videos quick and easy. Posibility to save favourite songs that I used as a backgroubd for my training videos. Ability to select media, short videos related to the subject. Despite of monthly payment, I can't regenerate corrected text as I need to pay more. If I generate the video I should be able to correct the text, regenerate and save. I like the fact that I'm able to add the captions for those that have disabilities maybe they are hard of hearing and that's my favorite part but other than that you know people like to read and see the action happening on the screen and the fonts and the animations of the text in the captions is perfect In many cases. It's very easy to use. I've never had to use customer support. I use it all the time though to get my projects the way that I want them and even for customers because I create for other people. I wish that the Video editor had more animations and transitions. I'm used to using Premier Pro so... I know that this is not Premier Pro, But, if it were similar to Premier Pro, this would be one of the most amazing products to ever have been created. As it stands, I have to go from Premier Pro or use Adobe Express to try to get the animations that I want, and sometimes, even they're not enough, and I have to dig a little deeper. I love how intuitive VEED is to edit videos. I have never edited videos before, but video is the way of the future, so I figured I'd better learn. I was able to film, upload, edit, and publish my first video all within 30 minutes. The features use artificial intelligence so creating captions, picking fonts, etc. is super easy and all done with a click of a button.
