What do you like best about USU (formerly Aspera)?

I like that I can observe the environment and perform various sandbox activities. It also has the ability to handle large volumes of data and generate reports with good product content. The tool uses multiple data sources, one of the main reasons we chose USU is the ability to manage all our different data sources. What do you like best about USU (formerly Aspera)?

I like it primarily because it is feature-rich, they really put effort into taking feedback into account and improving their product. What do you like best about USU (formerly Aspera)?

I really like the Easy App Integration feature. And I love that cumbersome tasks have been automated, greatly reducing the time and effort required for manual checks. It's a great place to have a good support system and be able to respond immediately. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I would like to see the sorting and filtering features be easier to use. I would also like to see better quality control because sometimes the filters don't reflect or behave differently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

With formerly Aspera it is now easier to see which items are installed in which room. I find this very useful, especially the ability to delete accounts etc. From the Formerly Aspera screen. What do you like best about USU (formerly Aspera)?

Formerly Aspera is an amazing tool which helps to discover all the attributes like servers, IP addresses and all the details related to the servers. I think it would be nice to have more disk storage. Also, the price may be a bit high for some small businesses. Apart from these two comments, I have nothing else to add, the tool does its job. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about USU (formerly Aspera)?

I love that their agentless scanning capability is quite strong in capturing all the necessary information. I also like how you can drill down from the user profile to support and see what network they are connected to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I think the interface could be updated a bit and the control are not axactly intuitive. In addition, this tool requires administrator-level privileges to collect information, which creates security issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about USU (formerly Aspera)?

I like that it's a detailed tool for showing license compliance, it can be customized to any organization's needs, and it allows you to manage files consistently from multiple data sources and at high volumes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about USU (formerly Aspera)?

Its user interface is user friendly and intuitive allowing a new user to learn it relatively quickly. The front-end is relatively easy to navigate and the data is easily exportable to a number of useful formats. My Dashboard has a lot of useful information including metrics that give an good snapshot of SAM. The tools gives you up-to-date information and is meant to be used frequently. The tool uses multiple data sources and this can result in data duplication. Integrating this tool with other software can be challenging. USU solves many of the problems of modern SAM (Software Asset Management) including compliance, license usage/consumption, license entitlement, effective license position (ELP).
