It is deceptively easy to use. At first glance it seemed like it would not offer any of the benefits of its main competitors, but the more I use it the better it gets. I have yet to find a solution that they have not already thought of. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think the only issue that I have found is that finding accountants who are familiar with it is not as easy as some of the larger competitors. Unanet should offer more free classes, with their exceptional in person trainers, to build alarger base of users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The most helpful part of Unanet is that it is all one system. Your data is produced in real time. I also like that Unanet is very open to customer feedback. They engage and have a hands on approach to continual improvement to the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The expense reporting system is not as robust as our needs are. We have extensive travel and the expense system is very manual. From a reviewer standpoint, there are limitations on how you can review the expense report so it can lead to errors. The expense reporting side could use some work - it's still a very manual process and it's very difficult to make corrections to expense types. Also, the drill-down of reports could be better. For example, I can drill down into the trial balance to the GL detail, but I cannot further drill down to a specific journal entry - I have to copy the journal entry number, then go to the journal entry screen, paste the number, and then I can get the detail.
