What do you like best about Twilio?

Documentation, code examples and speed of implementation. More importantly it always works. Consistent administration dashboard and ease of spinning up new numbers and taking advantage of existing Twiml Apps. I really appreciate that Twilio is pioneering the changing landscape of communication endpoints, letting me worry about my development and not having to code around the next "thing" Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Twilio?

Difficult to understand where our costs are. With the various ways you incure charges, its hard to see where your spend is going. Being a extremely lean (1 man team), i don't have time to export and deep dive into my billing. I just add money as necessary. Fortunately it doesn't cost much now, but i worry about future growth. Recommendations to others considering Twilio:

Wireframe your idea and plan first. Don't just start implementing right away because it looks easy to do (which it is). You can feature creep really quickly with twilio within your product and it doesn't always make sense. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Twilio solving and how is that benefiting you?

Anonymous phone numbers for 3rd party agents in the real estate industry. Ability to track all communication between our agents in the field and the conversations they have with home owners. What do you like best about Twilio?

The way in which Twilio is integrated is amazing, it allows us to implement it literally in any application and software, plus it has a large repertoire of native applications, allowing us to connect without a code bar. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Twilio?

When there are no native applications, it is very complex to connect, since it is mandatory that you know how to program to do it, plus it does not have a platform for people who just want to send simple messages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When setting up phone number there are numerous requirements for certifications, Weber hawks, and technical integration requirements that are neither well documented, clear, or aided by any on screen bye workflow. Further there are no live chat or Live telephone options for a small business. Finally when emailing support, response times are greater than 24 hours. I purchased a Twilio number four weeks ago and I still can neither receive calls no more receive voicemails. Tragic. What do you like best about Twilio?

It has a very low cost for the service, which is excellent for avoiding inflating the IT area's budget. It is very easy to implement and is always active, we have not had any problems because it guarantees business continuity. The UXI is a bit cumbersome when creating subaccounts and viewing analytics, it is so powerful that you can get lost, but that is a minor issue since I am sure that someone with more knowledge can be more efficient in its use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

In Llamando al Doctor, we use Twilio to utilize WhatsApp Business tools. It is very useful for sending medical prescriptions and attendance certificates in PDF format via WhatsApp to patients. What do you like best about Twilio?

We use Twilio for automated whatsapp notifications that send both prescriptions and medical orders to patients and scheduled appointment reports to doctors from our cloud telehealth platform. Usually medical appointments have modifications and cancellations and it is very useful to notify everything by whatsapp.

In some cases, the guides have some limitations, sometimes we have to find out from the Community how to solve a problem. Customer Support is not the best Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We have integrated our software with Twilio Whatsapp API to send patients their prescriptions and appointment information, as well as links to log in to our application.

It is one of the easiest ways to set up alerts. I've used the Twilio SDK to set up call alerts to notify when any of the services are down. For alerts, real-time communication notification is important and Twilio does that job superbly. They provide was with a fixed phone number that can help prevent alerts from being flagged as spam.
