Our experience with TriNet has been outstanding from start to finish. The entire process, from initial sales to post-implementation support, was incredibly seamless.
From the very beginning, the sales team took the time to understand our organization's unique needs and provided a tailored solution that addressed our specific requirements. They were transparent, knowledgeable, and patient as we explored our options.
Once we made the decision to move forward, the implementation process was smooth and efficient. The team guided us every step of the way, ensuring that our system was set up correctly, customized to our needs, and ready for launch. They took care of the details, so we didn’t have to worry about a thing.
Customer service throughout the entire journey was exceptional. Whether it was a question during implementation or a follow-up after rollout, the support team was always responsive, friendly, and quick to resolve any issues. It was clear they were genuinely committed to our success.
Now that the system is live within our organization, we are more than satisfied with its performance. The TriNet system has streamlined our processes, improved efficiency, and made managing employee data easier than ever. We’re confident that this solution will continue to support our growth and needs for years to come.
If you're looking for a reliable and user-friendly HRIS solution, look no further. You won't be disappointed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While the overall experience with TriNet has been positive, we did encounter a few minor hiccups along the way. Whether it was initial customization issues or some integration challenges, there were a couple of moments where things didn’t go exactly as planned. However, what stood out was how quickly and efficiently the support team addressed each issue.
Whenever we raised a concern, the team responded promptly, working diligently to resolve the problems and ensure that our system was functioning smoothly. Their proactive approach and willingness to go the extra mile to fix things reassured us that we were in good hands.
Despite these small setbacks, the level of support and quick resolutions left us feeling confident that the team was fully committed to our success. Any obstacles were promptly overcome, allowing us to stay on track and move forward with minimal disruption.
In the end, the minor issues we faced were just that—minor—and the overall process was still a very positive one. The TriNet system now works seamlessly, and we are pleased with the results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The app is easy to use. The Wellness newsletters are nice.
I really like the ability to compare paychecks. It helps me to see when there is a difference is taxes or take home.
The time off request process is simple.
FSA reimbursements are simple.
The times I've reached out to customer service, they were very helpful. However, it has been a year or so since I've needed to reach out since the app is so easy, I haven't needed to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish there was a basic graph of my 401k on the TriNet app instead of having to open a different page.
I know my Director does not like that in order to review PTO, she has to access her personal TriNet account. There really should be a separate supervior log in/portal.
When my company switched over from a different PEO, it bothered me that FSA was accessible on TriNet since that feels like very private medical information. I'm not sure if employer is able to see my FSA spending habits, but it feels like they can since it is on the employer app. I can no longer recall how the previous PEO handled FSA instead but I think it simply was not included and I accessed it through the healthcare app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I find TriNet to be an incredibly easy-to-use payroll and HR service. Everything is straightforward and self-explanatory, and their website is intuitive and user-friendly, making navigation a breeze. Whenever I call, the support team is not only informative but also very patient, taking the time to fully explain everything and offer clear solutions. They genuinely show a willingness to assist, walking me through each step of the process with care and attention to detail. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don’t like how it takes multiple processing days to resolve issues once they’re submitted. For example, it took three days to fully update a hire date, and I had to follow up with both emails and calls for more information. I was also surprised to learn that I couldn’t back pay a new hire without submitting a Special Payroll Request, which now comes with an extra charge, instead of simply adding the missing hours to the current payroll. I use TriNet every day as a payroll admin, and I think the process could be faster when a client submits any kind of change. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

TriNet is truly a co-employer, but still allows our company to make business decisions independently. TriNet does a great job with payroll, health benefits, and reporting, but where there is a tremendous amount of added value is the additional resources that are available to clients. I acess one of these on a daily basis: ConnectWeekly providing updates and reminders; Quick Tip Videos; Regulatory Resources; Benefit Education; Trends and Insight; and hosted webinars with knowledge panel members; and The Wing – which is a great way to connect to a community of employers on the TriNet platform. I also have a great relationship with ur assigned Preferred Services Specialist. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It would be helpful if Industry based benchmarking could be shared around benefit coverage and employer provide premiums. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I enjoy TriNet because the interface is user friendly and intuitive. I never find myself looking for things for too long and if I am curious to finding something, support is great in helping me do so. I use TriNet on a dauly basis and it's nothing but a joy to walkthrough. With the number of features it encompasses, I am able to get so much done in one, centralized platform. I dislike the design from an aesthetic standpoint. That is super minimal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In my experiences with TriNet, they have been very responsive. Our specific customer service team member has a wealth of knowledge and willing to assist to meet our needs.
The functionality of the system is very robust along with the reporting structure, which provides you to create a report from scratch. Additionally, having benefits not directly associated with TriNet (i.e. FSA) linked to the system provide a use of ease. Also, having direct access to a HR professional is a plus.
Also as a user of the system, easy to find reporting (i.e. pay stubs) with ease. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As an administrator, I would prefer having a direct time clock reporting system within TriNet instead of using a 3rd party software. It does take away some functionality and creates some confusion among employees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When you encounter knowledgeable, engaged, committed to seeing an issue through TriNet representatives, things go well and my satisfaction level is high.
The recent platform changes have been for the most part improvements, and have helped with employee self-service.
24/7 access to information through the web or app.
I can get most of the information I need through existing, custom, or community reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Connect360 service model has been a challenge. It's much more efficient and helpful from a customer perspective to have dedicated service reps who know your account to help solve issues when they arise. I have personal stories of very poor Connect360 interactions.
Some things in the platform are not very intuitive, and I hope improvements will continue. A for instance: I wanted a report of an employees' paid leave taken history. I went to the Report and Analytics section, and no such report exists. I inquired with TriNet, and turns out you can run this report, but you have to go to an employee's record, to their Paid Leave tab, and run a report there. Why isn't a report in the reports section of the platform? This is one of several examples.
Service fees are high. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy to navigate, helpful auto notifications, the TriNet App makes it convenient to view important information from a mobile device. The Support Team was detrimental in getting us set up and they are quick to answer questions that come up from employees. We have been using the platform for over 6 months with no issues and have doubled our number of employees. Setting up new employees is a piece of cake and I have only received positive feedback from the employees regarding the platform's features and health care options. N/A Overall TriNet has exceeded our expectations. The initial implementation is a little grueling but worth it and necessary. The TriNet team did make it go as smoothly as possible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
TriNet is a great HR solution for businesses looking for comprehensive support, especially when it comes to staying compliant with state-specific regulations. Their frequent updates on state guidelines are incredibly helpful, ensuring that our business remains informed and compliant with changing laws. The platform is user-friendly, offering a wide range of HR services, from payroll processing to benefits admninistration. TriNet's cusomter support is also respnsive and knowledgeable. Overal, TriNet is a reliable partner for managing HR needs efficiently while keeping up with ever-evolving state regulations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One of the main issues that we have faced with TriNet is the pricing, which can be high compared to other PEO provides, especially for small businesses. There were many hidden fees that we were not aware that we would have to pay when we originally signed up with TriNet. There is some lack of flexibility in benefits pacakges. I have used several PEOs over my career, and by far, the service and attention I get from TriNet is the best. Their response time is spot on and the advice/support I recieve is top notch.
They know our business and proactively seek to ensure my HR needs are met. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While I know they are working on this, the technology platform can be a little clunky. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
