The onboarding was easy to get through. I started a new job recently, and TriNet is where I filled out my tax forms, set up direct deposit and added my personal details. Not much so far, honestly. The main thing that bugged me was entering some of the same information more than once across different onboarding forms. The portal also feels a little cluttered when you're looking for something specific, so it took me a few clicks to find where things were. Small stuff, but it slowed me down the first time through. Their AI assistant on the page is useful when trying to find information quickly. What has been a challenge to us is being able to integrate our internal systems to Trinet to automate some of the things we need for our operations but we have not been successful when trying to obtain the platform APIs. Lots of information is not available for us to review and we need to request it to Trinet. However, we usually get a quick response to that. We are unable to help employees with easy tasks, for example, when they are locked out of their accounts they need to call Trinet, if they need to update information we cannot help them either. The reports generated by TriNet are excellent, providing valuable insights with clarity. TriNet's customer service is great, it's always easy to get in touch with someone who can resolve our issues. Whether we have missed deadlines or encountered other challenges, we've rarely encountered an issue TriNet hasn't solved. We have been able to leverage TriNet for better and cheaper rates for health, vision, and dental benefits, along with managing a 401(k) at a company size that typically makes such management unfeasible. This comprehensive package makes attracting higher-level employees with expectations of superior health and retirement benefits far more feasible. TriNet mostly has a lot of positive aspects, there are certain areas that could use improvement. Specifically, the payroll platform feels slightly outdated and could benefit from a refresh, though it functions quite well overall. you can navigate very easily, its all black and white. I don't have to go searching for things. Also, TriNet has helped introduce me to so many benefits that I didn't know I could take advantage of and makes me love my job even more. I have never had to wait for the website to load, everything seems to flow naturally. Any time that I have questions, I can easily chat with an agent (they have all been super helpful) instead of having to call to get an answer. Very reliable and quick.
