What do you like best about TriNet?

The dedicated payroll specialist and account manager are my absolute favorites. I really appreciate being able to work with the same people each time, so I don’t have to re-explain our company policies whenever I have a question. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TriNet?

TriNet takes a more corporate, hands-off approach. At times, that can leave us feeling a bit disconnected, especially since we’re a smaller company. Because of that, I’d be more likely to recommend TriNet to larger companies than to smaller ones. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about TriNet?

I like that it is a big platform so I have had experience with it before starting at my current role. I also like that it is easy to use, most of it is inuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TriNet?

I have to use it to do my timesheet every week and the log in takes some time as I have to get a text every single time I log in. When I started at my current role, there were issues with the password so I had to change it several times so it was hard to remember what my password is. "Fast, Intuitive Dashboard That Streamlines Payroll and Time Tracking"
What do you like best about TriNet?

The interface is really intuitive. The pages are clean, and the information is neatly organized. The dashboard shows everything I need at a glance, and I especially like that I can customize it to sort and display the things that are most useful to me. The workflow drastically improved especially with the time entering features when doing payroll. The pages to view and edit time are designed and placed in easy to read/use. The previous software we used for this purpose was very buggy, with constant time outs. Trinet is fast and we have not experience any disruptions. onboarding is usually a daunting task but the Trinet team was able to handle our most complex questions. What do you dislike about TriNet?

One of the biggest comments are towards the total hours. When an employee is reviewing their time card, they only see time worked on the time sheet and not any approved time off. The integration between the time sheet and the main site could make it so a employee sees all time on the timesheet including the approved time off, but it does not. What do you like best about TriNet?

I use TriNet to manage our HR processes like time off, payment, and retirement, and it's a very simple platform that's easy to use. It makes managing the US team and our HR policies, benefits, time, and money easier for a global company. I really love viewing dashboards in TriNet to see how much time off I have left, and taking time off is very easy. Drilling into pay stubs to see where finances are going and setting up retirement options are easy too. Setting it up as an individual contributor was fairly easy. I would definitely recommend TriNet because it's very much up there with Justworks and other similar platforms. It's very easy to use, and I would recommend it very easily to someone else. What do you dislike about TriNet?

I guess when it comes to setting up health care and things like that, or even retirement, you are taken out of TriNet and into third-party sites. And I think this is true of all HR management platforms. That's not the most intuitive flow. So maybe if, like, your sign-on access information could be a little bit more obvious on how to set that up and what you're in for when you're going to set up those plans and third-party sites, that would make it a little bit more intuitive. What do you like best about TriNet?

I use TriNet for my job to clock in and out, request time off, and manage my employee benefits. It's simple and keeps everything in one place. What I like most about TriNet is how convenient it is. I like how it keeps everything in one place, which saves time and avoids confusion. Especially when it allows me to update my benefits, track my hours, and the app is also pretty efficient since I can clock in and out using my phone. The accessibility and ease of use are great; I can easily request time off, track my hours, and view my benefits right from my phone, which makes everything really convenient. What do you like best about TriNet?

The most helpful thing about TriNet, in my experience, is that you can submit and escalate cases and get connected with an expert for each area. There’s a benefits expert, someone who can help with payroll, and as you become a bigger client, you can also have a dedicated person for more complex leave cases and other HR topics. They end up feeling like a consultant to your company, and I genuinely feel that’s worth the investment. They also have in-house legal counsel, and overall the list of what TriNet offers is pretty long. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TriNet?

My dislikes mostly stem from some earlier experiences we had.

One situation that stands out is when someone’s Social Security number needed to be updated. There was a system glitch, and I had to follow up on that case a few times before it was addressed. Since then, it seems like they’ve put new guardrails and system audits in place so updates are caught and handled more smoothly.

I also think there used to be delays in sending notes to the leave of absence team about placing someone on paid or unpaid leave. That lag sometimes had real implications, but it doesn’t seem to be an issue anymore—they fixed it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about TriNet?

I really like the interface, as it allows me to access all of the features of the program easily. Internally, we do not have a large HR Team, so the support that is offered through TriNet has been very helpful as well to leverage all of their features. What do you dislike about TriNet?

Hmm, for what I utilize the platform for, I have not really had any major issues with it itself. I guess if I had to say one thing is the delay in getting feedback on certain HR issues that I have had questions for. What do you like best about TriNet?

I find TriNet very easy to access and it helps me find what I need, like my PTO hours. I really appreciate how easy it is to pull up my benefits, even using the app on my phone. I also like clicking on the benefits tool and having a drop-down menu of what I'm currently enrolled in. The initial setup was very easy, which is a huge plus. What do you dislike about TriNet?

I don't like that it can estimate my SST balance hours for future dates but not my PTO. For example, if I go to my time off window, I will see an option that says 'estimate balance,' and it will only have SST options, but I need my PTO hours to calculate how much time I need to take off.
