What do you like best about TriNet?

When you begin using TriNet, you are never alone. You have several dedicated advisors to help you get acclimated and make sure you understand all the features available to you. My dedicated advisors were absolutely wonderful and really helped me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TriNet?

There is a lot of moving parts to using TriNet and at first it was overwhelming. I felt rushed and wanted to have more time. There were also a lot of things I wasn't aware of at the beginning and am glad I later learned about all that TriNet offers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about TriNet?

We are a small company (under 20 employees) and TriNet saves us time and money (costs less that 1 FTE employee in HR). Of all the software programs I have used over the past 25+ years, TriNet has been the easiest and smoothest implementation and transition. I have used their customer support features often and they have always resolved my issues. Another plus is the wide variety of benefits that employees can choose from. What do you dislike about TriNet?

The website could have an easier flow with all options available in a single drop down. On features I rarely use, I sometimes forget which menu (or which dashboard feature) houses the option. The only other part of the platform that needs some work is the Applicant Tracking System. Hopefully AI will enhance and smooth out this module in the future. What do you like best about TriNet?

It's neatly organized, it can be easy to find the documents and options you need. I like how the home screen has plenty of shortcuts to get you where you need to be. What do you dislike about TriNet?

I wish the darkmode was more aesthetically pleasing. I know it's a nitpick but the purple and orange like colors really clash for me. I also would like a better notification system since some notifications can be more urgent than others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about TriNet?

I appreciate how TriNet keeps payroll and compensation super simple with a really intuitive system that automatically calculates all the taxes and withholdings we need to process for our employees. I think it's easy all around from an administration and employee perspective, and we rarely have any issues. When issues do arise, their customer service team and account management team are always just one call away, super responsive, and quick. I also like their online chat feature that connects me to someone within seconds, ensures I'm directed to the right team with the right knowledge, and if a question can't be answered immediately, they create a case and follow up within 24 to 48 hours. What do you dislike about TriNet?

What do you like best about TriNet?

TriNet gives me a strong sense of security. There are numerous safeguards in place to make sure you always remain compliant with state, federal, and local regulations. In addition, the platform offers a variety of useful tools and engaging content, which help keep administrators motivated and encourage a deeper understanding of everything the platform has to offer. What do you dislike about TriNet?

Those same safeguards that provide a sense of security can feel limiting and constraining. TriNet does not allow the same level of access to certain reports and records that you may be used to with other PEOs. What do you like best about TriNet?

I love that TriNet gives us a lot of options to customize our healthcare benefits and other benefits supporting employee well-being. It's easy to log onto and use, especially with the mobile app, making it very convenient to access and look up the information I need wherever I am. The mobile experience is pretty seamless. What do you dislike about TriNet?

"Efficient, Accurate, but Needs Faster Support"
What do you like best about TriNet?

I find TriNet makes things very accurate and makes a lot of tasks seamless. I love that everything an employee needs is online and available, really getting most of these tasks off my plate. I like that there is always a way to get in touch with someone, and multiple ways to do so. The way you input any changes, and it just smoothly goes over to payroll, is great. What do you dislike about TriNet?

The time between submitting the payroll and getting it back is very tight, especially since I need to fund the payroll as well. Also, it takes many of the departments, particularly when dealing with issues like taxes or LOAs, longer than a week to get back to you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about TriNet?

I find TriNet easy to manage as an admin and pretty easy to use as an employee. Employee benefits enrollment is straightforward and easy. I appreciate the plenty of timely reminders and overall, it feels very lightweight for usage. What do you dislike about TriNet?

Right now, I'm only limited to use in The US. So hiring and managing a team outside The US, as well as talent acquisition, is limited. You can add talent acquisition and EOR capabilities. Currently, I have to use other EORs, like remote. Centralizing into one platform would mean I don't have to maintain a TA team or manage in different platforms. What do you like best about TriNet?

I appreciate how TriNet simplifies cross-border HR compliance while keeping everything centralized. It reliably handles payroll, tax, and social security in accordance with German labor laws and GDPR requirements, helping us to avoid regulatory risks and save time on administrative work. The platform is intuitive for both our HR team and employees, and its built-in data security gives us confidence in managing sensitive personnel information. It lets us focus on strategic people operations instead of routine paperwork. The initial setup was straightforward overall, and we had dedicated support that resolved regional requirements quickly. What do you dislike about TriNet?

While TriNet handles core HR and compliance well, there are areas that could be smoother for our German-based team. Some platform features feel less tailored to local European workflows compared to German HR tools, and occasional delays in support response can slow down urgent payroll or compliance inquiries. The user interface can also feel overly complex for day-to-day tasks, with a steeper learning curve for employees less familiar with US-style HR platforms. Customization for regional reporting and documentation is somewhat limited, requiring extra manual adjustments to fully align with local German requirements. What do you like best about TriNet?

I think just the all-in-one feature of TriNet is uber convenient. Having them do all the things to make sure the tax entities are set up correctly and handling all the tax stuff is very helpful. They also manage all the audits and the payroll throughout the year, which is helpful to have in one place. It’s very helpful because we have people all over the United States, and TriNet handles new hires and tax filings for different states, so we don’t have to worry about that. What do you dislike about TriNet?

I feel that sometimes our hands are tied behind our back. We don't have a say, it's either TriNet's way or, you know, that's the only way to do things. Even if it doesn't necessarily work well for our company. And it's just expensive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
