My first mistake was falling for the low price point: $49 a month for up to 10 companies, and citations only cost a one-time fee of $1.80 each with a coupon.

They report on their website that the citations will be made within 3-21 days. However, months later, some of the local listings/citations were still listed as "submitted" and had not been completed. I reached out multiple times to ask about the delay and never heard a response.
From talking with another local listing service, I realize that Tribe Local most likely uses cheap labor to manually list your business locations on different onliine listings like Brown Book, Yelp, etc. The good local listing services will have actually relationships with each online listing, and API connections to their listings, so the changes are instant rather than taking a long time or not getting done.
Tribe Local promised during the sales process that I would receive full access to all of the citations they created. I am testing this promise as I am in the process of leaving the service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
