What do you like best about Tremendous?

Horriable Experience Overall. I really cannot think of anything Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tremendous?

**Tremendous Review**

**TL;DR**: If you don't mind having your account canceled without warning in the middle of a reward campaign, go ahead and do business with Tremendous.

As an indie developer running a survey with a $15 monetary incentive per participant, I decided to give Tremendous a try after seeing their ads on YouTube. Initially, they required extensive documentation to verify my legitimacy, which seemed fair enough. It took about 2-3 days for my account to be approved, after which I was ready to fund and send the rewards.

However, I was informed that I couldn't use a credit card to fund the account and had to set up an ACH transfer instead. This process with Chase took another 2-3 days. After funding the account, I started sending out the survey rewards. The first 7-8 transactions were approved automatically within 24 hours.

Then the trouble started. For the next five transactions, there were no automatic approvals close to 24 hours, forcing me to contact customer support. Thankfully, these were approved within an hour, maintaining my promise of delivering the gift cards within 24 hours.

This pattern repeated for the next six transactions. After waiting nearly 24 hours, I had to contact customer support again. This time, instead of receiving assistance, my account was abruptly canceled. When I inquired about the reason, I received a canned response:

"For privacy and security purposes, we're not able to share more information about our compliance policies. We take a number of items into consideration while making these decisions. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause."

This was more than an inconvenience; it was a complete disruption of the trust I was trying to build with my survey participants and potential future customers. I had to scramble to suspend my survey and personally purchase gift cards from Amazon to fulfill my promises.

For what it’s worth, Tremendous did allow me to withdraw the remaining funds from my account. However, the overall experience was highly frustrating and damaging to my campaign. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Tremendous?

Very convenient to use, no fees (Visa cards cost their face price), good fraud-detection and blocking in place, such as identifying rewards attempted to be redeemed from multiple accounts on the same device or over-VPN, etc. Orders can be placed and processed same-day via ACH with no fee, no need to load a balance first. It is possible to cancel issued Visa cards within a week if they are not redeemed. That is useful to claim back unused rewards or correct mistakes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tremendous?

Frankley I haven't stumbled into any significant downsides. For my specific context of small and manual use (perhaps they're great with automation and integration too, I don't know), and compared to other platforms I checked, I'm definitely happy with Tremendous and would use it again in the future if needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Tremendous solving and how is that benefiting you?

Issue a small number of incentives (Visa cards) as rewards for participants in an academic research. The flexibility combined with service with 0 fees is great, making it the best path, in my context and as I see it, to implement reward distribution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Tremendous?

Tremendous is a must for our business. It is a simple and easy to thank our customers and partners for their referrals. It has made a definite positive impact in our business when we ask for customer and strategic partner referrals. Our staff is able to quickly send them an electronic giftcard as a token of thanks. Our partners like the fact that they have so many choices on which gift cards they can get. In the past we would send Amazon gift cards which was more impersonal. The implementation was quick and eay and the platform allows us to give our customers and partners so many options which has made a positive impact on the amount of referrals we are now receiving. The platform is easy to use and we are able to add additional funds as we go automatically which eliminates the need to always monitor this aspect and frees my time up to focus on more important things - like growing my business! I highly recommend any company that is looking for a reward program to check out Tremendous. We not only use it for clients and partners but also as a way to thank our employees through immediate electronic gift cards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tremendous?

What do you like best about Tremendous?

If you are trying to decide about using Tremendous, just do it! It is has been everything I hoped it would be! As for the ease of use, it is very intuitive and the website itself is very well designed. It has a number of features associated with different options but all laid out in a very clear way. I use this website almost daily and it simply could not be any easier or a pleasure to navigate. I had to contact Customer Support in the beginning with a login issue and they responded immediately with a solution and went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. I can not stress enough the ease of integrating Tremendous into our daily business practices and the ease of implementation into our business model across our five stores. In a world where a lot of things do not operate smoothly all the time, Tremendous is the exception. And it is ... well .. tremendous! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tremendous?

There is literally not one thing that I dislike about this company! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Tremendous solving and how is that benefiting you?

Tremendous solves our problem of having to keep spare cash and or gift cards constantly in stock for our promotional events. Across five stores, the logistics of keeping physical gift cards and / or petty cash is not ideal. It is by far easier to use Tremendous to email directly our rewards and incentives for those who qualify for our promotional events. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Tremendous?

Tremendous is a great platform that makes rewarding employees easy. I like that I can send gift cards via email in just a few clicks, and the platform is super user-friendly, fast, and works in different currencies. Great for global teams. I also like the option to make customizable email templates and the ability to send multiple gifts at once makes it stand out. This tool is affordable and a small price to pay to boosts employee morale. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tremendous?

What Tremedous could improve on is that it is hard to tell if employees actually used their gift cards. I wish there was a way to track used rewards or give them an expiration date. Also a "thank you" button that sends a notification from the receiver would be nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Tremendous solving and how is that benefiting you?

For me, this means I can quickly and affordably boost employee morale without breaking the bank. The customizable email templates add a personal touch, making the rewards feel more meaningful. Overall, Tremendous is helping me create a positive work environment by making employee recognition seamless, cost-effective, and scalable—something that’s incredibly valuable for any team or organization. What do you like best about Tremendous?

In the past, we manually sent giftcards, both physical and electronic to our recipients in our organization. As our organization grew, our manpower was no longer sufficient to keep up with the demands. Thankfully I found Tremendous! And what a "tremendous" find it has been! The customer service has been wonderful each time I reached out. The ease of learning was great as I was able to join live trainings and ask questions. They have great articles and support in learning how to set up and get started. Once we started using the program, it was extremely easy to figure out. We use this on a weekly basis all across our organization, both internally and externally. I am grateful that Tremendous has so many options, both for shopping, but also for charity. We haven’t started to use the physical gift cards yet, but I hope to add this as an option in the near future. My finance department also likes how easy it has been for us to create invoices and add funds to our account. I also love how easy it is to make different campaigns as we utilize this freqently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tremendous?

There really isn't much that I dislike about Tremendous. I do wish that there were a few more gas card options as this is something we frequently get asked for from our recipients. I also wish that there was a bit of an easier way to upload multiple entries as once. I wish that there were ways to not have to select the date and ammount each time, but rather duplicate entries and only change the email address instead of having to enter every single item each time. This is made easier with the option to upload a CSV. Overall I have been extremely happy with Tremendous. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Tremendous solving and how is that benefiting you?

We used to have to send physical gift cards manually. This has saved us so much time and enery. It has also helped us to save money by not loosing physical gift cards in the mail! We also don't have to store physical gift cards in our office. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Tremendous?

I manage global customer testimonial incentives through our program, working with recipients from diverse locations and backgrounds. Finding a platform that could cater to such varied needs while remaining intuitive was no easy task. After testing multiple solutions, I can confidently say that Tremendous is the best option. Here’s why:

1) Global versatility: Tremendous offers a wide range of international gift cards and rewards.

2) Effortless campaign creation: It allows you to send multiple rewards with just one click, saving time and effort.

3) Seamless tracking: Easily monitor who has received their reward, who hasn’t, and make adjustments as needed.

Here are three standout features I’ve come to love:

1) Intuitive campaign creation: Tremendous makes it simple to create and manage reward campaigns. Similar to CRM systems, the platform is user-friendly and lets me build templates that can be easily duplicated and customized based on the purpose of the reward. This flexibility has been a game-changer in streamlining my workflow.

2) Efficient issue resolution: Occasionally, a customer might reach out to say they haven’t received their reward. Tremendous makes it easy to check if the email was opened, whether the reward has been accessed, and if needed, resend or update the reward. This feature has been invaluable for handling unique cases quickly, ensuring no duplicate rewards are issued while promptly resolving concerns.

3) Actionable analytics: The platform provides insightful analytics, showing who redeemed rewards, where they were accessed, and more. Although we initially thought such data wasn’t necessary for our small-scale program, it has proven incredibly useful in understanding customer behaviors and improving our processes.

In short, Tremendous has simplified and elevated how we manage global rewards by combining functionality, efficiency, and adaptability. It’s a tool I’d recommend without hesitation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tremendous?

Not much, actually—I really like it. Initially, I was a bit confused about the distinction between campaigns and emails, but I quickly got the hang of the hierarchy and workflow. Now, I use it frequently and with ease. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Tremendous solving and how is that benefiting you?

Tremendous solves the challenge of managing global reward distribution efficiently. It provides a seamless way to offer diverse international gift cards and rewards, catering to recipients from various locations and backgrounds. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Tremendous?

As I said:

- Quick to integrate (no dev frictions)

- Simple to configure (templates and UI for doing the campaigns are great)

- Complete (also the fraud prevention system, cool, we're not using it because we know the risk at the start, but there is!)

- Straightforward (time to market so quick, clear)

We're using massively tremendous every day. Hundreds of transactions with many products in the US. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tremendous?

As a tech, the worst thing I've experienced with Tremendous is the release process:

- no communication of the what's new sometimes

- no good (IMHO) test phase for regression and or breaking changes management

- no updated documentation sometimes

This can lead to a down of the system, but the support answer very quickly. If you think that we can reac hundreds of calls per day, this can be a dislike on our end. We're using massively tremendous every day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Tremendous solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about Tremendous?

I found Tremendous looking for an app to process referral rewards to partners. A lot of platforms only work with SaaS companies (we are a marketing agency so not a fit), others cost insane amounts of money for such a simple task and only a few partners/rewards sent per month, and the ones that are affordable were missing one or another crucial functionality.

Then I stumbled upon Tremendous and I wish I found it sooner lol. It lets me process these payouts exactly the way I want, for FREE.

It's quick and easy, and, most importantly, free, besides a 3% topup fee because I choose to topup via credit card. US has a bank transfer option, for EU it's a little trickier, so for me it's easier to just pay the 3% fee. It still comes out way cheaper than alternatives, and besides this, has no hidden/additional fees or costs.

The reward claim page looks solid and is customizable, and very easy to customize too. After figuring out the topup, I was able to send my first rewards within 10-15 minutes.

The rewards reach my partners within a few hours and I haven't heard from them about any difficulties while redeeming their rewards.

Another thing that's really handy is that there are a lot of different options for rewards. We have partners both in the US and the EU, so it's important that they can all redeem the reward in some way they can use in their location. This hasn't been an issue at all with Tremendous. I usually send my rewards with options - Amazon gift card (local Amazon - .com, .de, etc.), virtual Visa card (can be used anywhere online), and they can also redeem it as PayPal balance or directly to their bank account, but these options have a fee (4% I think). So I don't know if any of my partners have been using the latter options.

Overall super satisfied and will continue using Tremendous without a second thought. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tremendous?

It took me some time to figure out my first initial topup, as they have a free bank transfer option but only for the US. We're in the EU so we either have to jump through some hoops or pay via credit card which involves a 3% fee. In the end I decided to just pay via credit card and the fee is still cheaper than other apps. This was my only hurdle that took some time to figure out in the beginning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Tremendous solving and how is that benefiting you?

Sending referral rewards to partners quickly and cheaply. Saves time and money compared to other similar apps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Tremendous?

I came across Tremendous after seeing another CS leader use it at a software company I’m familiar with through work. I remember claiming a reward they sent, and the whole experience stuck with me because it was just so simple and well-designed. Honestly, it felt effortless as a customer, and everything about it looked clean and professional. That first impression had me curious, so I went down the rabbit hole and started looking into the company to see if it was something we could use.

Fast forward to Q4, I had this campaign I was running, and it seemed like the perfect chance to test Tremendous. I was honestly impressed by how easy it was to get started. I signed up, set things up quickly, and sent out my first reward the next day. The kicker? Less than an hour later, one of my customers replied to thank me for the reward. That felt like a win because I’ve used other tools before where rewards would end up in spam or have way too many steps for the customer to actually claim them. At that point, it’s just frustrating—like, the whole point is to thank someone and make it easy, right? Tremendous nailed it there.

What I really liked was how seamless the whole process was. I didn’t have to spend hours setting it up, and the feedback from customers showed it actually worked. It felt like the right balance between being super simple to use while still looking professional. Even for this small test, it’s been a huge success. I’m already planning to scale this up over the year because I can see how it could fit into more of what we do.

Anyway, I don’t usually hype up tools like this, but Tremendous really is great. It’s been such a smooth experience that I kind of can’t believe how easy it is. And yeah, I’ll go there—it’s been tremendously simple to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tremendous?

There is nothing I don't like about the service itself. Of course in a small test I would have like to avoid the Credit Card fee but I mean, I know that is not their problem it is just how the credit card processing industry is. So long as they keep the process simple, maybe make it easy to build with their API then I believe this is a great option for people to look into for rewarding customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Tremendous solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before Tremendous I used another gifting program, but the major issue with that program was it didn't do out of USA. So, then I had two programs, and guess what, each program was different with different experiences for my customers and it wasn't great. I wanted a simple place to login, a template to run with, and a great experience for my customers and this company helped tremendously with that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
