What is Titan MFT Server?

Titan MFT Server is a Managed File Transfer solution that was built with security top of mind. With complex password policies, 2-factor authentication, events to thwart hacking attempts, and support for the latest NSA encryption standards, Titan MFT security does more than "tick the box" on the marketing sheet. Easily meet PCI, FIPS-140.2 and HIPAA compliance requirements and add the DMZ reverse proxy to reduce the risk of network breach. With productivity-enhancing file sharing capabilities, Titan MFT enables secure file sharing through password protected links that offer customizable access levels, and an easy DropZone to facilitate receiving large files from external users. Events automation can ensure that files are AV scanned upon receipt. Titan MFT offers virtually unlimited scalability, with a clustering architecture that eliminates the need for duplicating and syncing files amongst servers. Server clusters can be configured as active-active or active-passive, and can be clustered across geographic locations to enhance DR policies. Clustering on-site and cloud Titan MFT Servers is also supported. Available as a budget friendly monthly subscription in Azure, AWS and Google marketplaces, or as a one-time license purchase, Titan MFT gives you the most flexibility for both budget and implementation preferences.

What do you like best about Titan MFT Server?

The software is very flexible and configurable. There are so many options we can use to make the product do pretty much anything we need it to. The ability to handle multiple protocols (SFTP, HTTP, HTTPS) make it a thorough and complete solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Titan MFT Server?

The product Admin console has a 1990's look and feel. The Admin experience / console has performance issues (it can be slow). Some of the newer features feel like they were "tacked on" and can feel like an afterthought or that they were "cobbled" in place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Titan MFT Server?

Setting up is extremely easy and it almost never has issues. It's one of those products that are a set and forget as they run smoothly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Titan MFT Server?

Applying certificates can be tricky at times, renewing the existing certificates isn't possible from within the application. There is also no ability to include SAN entries during the certificate request wizard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Titan MFT Server:

Take advantage of the AD integration features Cornerstone MFT server provides, it provides an easy method of managing users and groups. Always stay up to date with the latest version as they do implement some useful features. Setup can be done in-house, Cornerstone provides an abundant amount of documentation and guides it is very easy to deploy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Titan MFT Server solving and how is that benefiting you?

Cornerstone MFT server has helped with automating data processing from external clients that provide files via the MFT server, proper IAM and ensuring secure access. Cornerstone MFT server has provided almost no operational cost after being setup, saved a great amount of time on data entry tasks where most is now automated. We replaced several Linux based SFTP servers with this Windows based software. Windows is a more comfortable environment for our Administrators. We were able to remove these standalone Linux devices and replace with a domain joined server that is easier to maintain and more familiar for our Operations Team. Not that I dislike it but the automation of events are not intuitive. I wish there was a workflow diagram so I may understand all the abilities/options I can setup on the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

With this product we have solved single point failures and reduced overhead from having to micro manage file transfers. This product allows us to notify stakeholders when files are received or sent, copy the files to another folder for archive as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Titan MFT Server?

Very Stable Solution once you setup task to send/receive Data.We have been using it for the past 2 years.Set it up and schedule your daily tasks and it will automate for you.

Task reporting is very basic and not user friendly.Ideally I would have liked to receive notification for any successful /failed job with html reporting page. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We needed to automate SFTP tasks of sending/receiving data from different vendors.
