"Reliable Remote Access with Minor Performance Hiccups"
4/5
What do you like best about TeamViewer?

I like TeamViewer’s reliability and ease of remote access, which lets me quickly connect to my work system and run heavy CAD tools without lag, keeping my work uninterrupted. The screen sharing is also very useful for quick design discussions and issue resolution. Additionally, the initial setup is quite straightforward, with simple installation and quick remote system connectivity through ID and password access. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TeamViewer?

While TeamViewer is very useful, it can sometimes have lag when handling heavy CAD models, and its performance depends a lot on internet stability. Occasional disconnections and corporate security restrictions can also interrupt smooth usage. Improving stability and performance for high-end applications would make it even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Valeria Di Prisco of TeamViewer

Hello Vasundhara,

Thanks for sharing your detailed feedback.

We’re glad to hear TeamViewer helps you reliably access high‑performance CAD/CAE systems and supports smooth collaboration through screen sharing and quick setup.

We appreciate your comment on lag and stability with heavy CAD workloads; performance can be sensitive to network conditions, and improving this experience remains a key focus for us. Your insights help us continue enhancing stability and performance for demanding engineering use cases.

However, when dealing with connection issues, please ensure that both sides have the latest version of TeamViewer available on our website. If this is the case, resetting the devices and, if possible, resetting the WiFi could solve the issue.

Finally, your insights help us continue enhancing stability and performance for demanding engineering use cases.

"Easy Admin Switching with Powerful Remote Tools and Real-Time Chat"
5/5
What do you like best about TeamViewer?

As a consultant, I’ve found it very easy to switch a user profile from a standard user to an admin account. I also appreciate the range of features available, especially remote reboot and remote connect, which are genuinely helpful in day-to-day support. Another feature I really like is being able to chat with the end user in real time while I’m using remote access. We really love having that option. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TeamViewer?

I don’t really have any dislikes, unless you’re expecting absolutely no delays in end-user support. Overall, it’s a helpful tool for an engineer to have on hand, especially when dealing with stressful remote sessions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Ying Qin of TeamViewer

"Great for Remote Access, Needs Better Audio Functionality"
3/5
What do you like best about TeamViewer?

I like the ease of connectivity and screen sharing with TeamViewer. The connection delay is almost nonexistent, which is great. I also find it really helpful that I can presave my mobile device's connection details on my desktop. This feature saves me from having to waste time entering numbers and codes during meetings or presentations. The initial setup was very easy too, with a simple download, installation, and signing in with my login credentials. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TeamViewer?

Audio and microphone sharing is poor. You used to be able to chat and talk through it when connecting to other people's PCs. For some reason, that performance seems to be poor quality or doesn't exist sometimes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Valeria Di Prisco of TeamViewer

Hello Angus,

Thank you so much for your review and for sharing your experience.

We’re pleased to hear that TeamViewer’s fast connectivity, seamless screen sharing, and the ability to pre‑save device details help you save time and run meetings more efficiently. It’s also great to know that the setup process was quick and straightforward.

We appreciate your honest input regarding audio and microphone sharing. Your feedback has been noted and helps us continue improving communication performance across devices and use cases.

Thank you again for taking the time to leave a review.

"Reliable, Easy-to-Use Remote Access Tool with Room for Pricing Improvements"
5/5
What do you like best about TeamViewer?

I’ve been using TeamViewer for managing remote support and day-to-day operations, and it’s made things much smoother. The connection is usually fast and stable, which is critical when you’re troubleshooting issues in real time. What I like most is how easy it is to use, even team members without much technical background can get started quickly. TeamViewer has been a reliable solution for remote access across teams and locations. It handles connections securely and works well across different devices, which is important in a fast-paced environment. The ease of use saves a lot of time in daily operations. I can quickly connect to a colleague’s system without needing complex setup, which helps resolve issues faster and keeps work moving without delays. The secure connection is very important because we often deal with sensitive company data, and knowing that the connection is encrypted gives confidence while accessing remote systems. These features help reduce downtime, improve team collaboration, and ensure smooth remote support across different locations. I often use TeamViewer alongside tools like Microsoft Teams and Excel, which helps streamline collaboration and reduces back-and-forth communication. The initial setup was very straightforward and quick, and the process of sharing IDs and passwords is simple, so we were able to connect and start using it almost immediately. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TeamViewer?

One area that could be improved is the pricing, as it can be quite high, especially for smaller teams or individual users. Sometimes, connection performance can vary depending on network conditions, which may cause slight delays during remote sessions. Additionally, the interface could be made a bit more intuitive in some advanced settings, as new users might find certain features slightly difficult to navigate at first. "TeamViewer: Seamless Remote Support with Fast File Transfers and Unattended Access"
4/5
What do you like best about TeamViewer?

TeamViewer is a lifesaver for remote IT support because it lets you jump into any device instantly without a messy setup. Its top features are seamless cross-platform control, lightning-fast file transfers, and secure unattended access to servers. It handles multi-monitor setups beautifully and stays smooth even on weaker connections. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TeamViewer?

The biggest downsides are its prohibitive pricing and the free version constantly timing out due to false "commercial use" triggers. The interface also feels bloated now, and forcing both sides to have matching versions for a connection to work is a massive headache. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about TeamViewer?

I really appreciate TeamViewer, especially for its reliability and ease of use. However, for people less comfortable with computers, the tool can sometimes seem intimidating. It is therefore important to support users and clearly explain how it works. The main difficulty often comes from a lack of understanding of the software's purpose, which can create a mistaken impression that access is permanent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TeamViewer?

For people who are not very familiar with computers, installation and getting started can be a challenge. Clear guidance and some additional explanations are sometimes necessary for the experience to be fully positive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
