I used Tackle for the last four years, in several roles, across two companies. They were one of the first Cloud GTM platforms to come market and as such are deeply entrenched with the various cloud providers, their operations/processes/procedures, and are have a wealth of knowledge. As with any software product, there are little issues with UX/UI, but I have found the Tackle team to be receptive to feedback and often see previous suggestions incorporated into new software versions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The most helpful aspect of of the platform is the ease of use and implementation within our Salesforce system. We have fully integrated it into our sales process and it has helped our sellers easily transfer information to our cloud providers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Although we adapt to change, one of the downsides of using the product are the update changes that Tackle has done over the year. One change in particular affected a specific data source that we found valuable in our sales reporting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Tackle downstream app is clean and relatively intuitive to use. The integration is pretty powerful, but definitely needs to be configured properly by your Salesforce integration team which is not trivial. If you are selling on multiple cloud marketplaces (e.g. both AWS and Azure) then picking Tackle is the no-brainer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Without any need for spreadsheets, we're able to create a co-sell on Opportunties via the Oportunity list in Salesforce, hundreds of deals at a time. And that co-sell record shares the deal with AWS. AWS are amazed how on top of our co-sell deals we are. And best of all Tackle is the same platform we use to list on Amazon marketplace. We like the Propesity scores that indicate the propensity to buy via AWS which guides us to focus on the highest likelihood deals. It's easy to use and easy to implement. Nothing really, it's the AWS ACE platform and it's immarturity that cause minor headaches. But the intermediary Tackle connector protects us from much of ACE's idiosyncrasies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Tackle platform makes it easy for us to transact with multiple cloud providers via one platform. And once an offer is made to a partner (via CPPO) or to a customer (via PO), we receive updates on each step taken. It makes it seamless for every member of our team to know where we are in the transaction process. The Customer Support is also incredibly responsive and helpful. The Tackle team is helpful getting listings up and getting the motion in place for small ISVs looking to transact on a cloud marketplace. No longer having CSMs makes it a bit of a challenge to get answers. Everything goes through the support channel which can be a bottle neck when trying to close deals or get orders out the door in a timely manner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When we were running our own Cloud Marketplace strategy we ran into issues working across departments because we did things differently from Azure to AWS. With Tackle.io, regardless of hypercaler, we transact in a similar manner with the same set of triggers that go to the appropriate teams, creating a smooth operational experience. We are in the final stages of launching the Tackle.io Co-Sell Application into production and this will save people from various departments hours a week previously spent sharing deals, adding contacts, updating pipleine, etc. Our next step will be to integrate Tackle.io Prospect to show PtoB data at the account level across our organization. This will help our sellers more confidently plan regional prospects by hyperscaler and drive procurement through the Marketplace. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Although they provide support as we connect, test and launch different pieces of the Cloud GTM platform, it would be nice if they could put hands on keyboard for some of it without an additional cost to us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Tackle platform takes the complexity of working with multiple CSP marketplaces and simplifies that into a single platform with a single view of a very challenging process. Tackle is subject to the same pain points as any marketplace partner, things change so much and at times the platform does not have all the features/functionality changes made by the cloud providers on day-one. This is not necessairly a Tackle issue but one where more coordination may be needed between Tackle and the cloud providers to make sure they are aware of roadmap/feature changes.
In the past, the pricing model was a challenge but recent changes have more aligned with how the CSP marketplaces operate and are more acceptable to a software vendor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Tackle provides a CSP independent platform that enables organizations to take the guesswork and learning out of AWS/Google/ and MSFT MP listing processes which are complex and different for each company. Tackle delivers an impactful, easy to use implementation plan which helps everyday users become familiar with the platform quickly. Tackle's console is easy to integrate and provides intuitive MP deal lifecycle management in an audit friendly format that is easy to "plug in" across ops, sales, finance and alliance teams for immediate use.
